Bug and insect infested
No one ever came to fix our television.
I have used VRBO many times and by far this is the worse experience.
I would rather have conversation about compensation for inconvenience. When I spend this kind of money for 3 days 965 miles from my home I expect excellent service. I'm not sure the last time the property was inspected but it needs some thorough cleaning. I had a discussion on Wednesday with the owner when I arrived of my concerns. I discovered more issues. In addition to our discussion Wednesday, the ice machine doesn't work, the toaster doesn't work, the toilet seat in the main bathroom is broken, the beds are hard, squeaky and very uncomfortable, the vents over the beds are dirty, the hot water tub facet won't go off and has been dripping since we arrived, the iron had to be cleaned before we used it, the dining table was dirty, the clocks don't work and need new batteries and lastnight when shaking the sheets and checking under the beds we found candy under the back bedroom bed.
The decorations are beautiful and visible however the things that matter are horrible state. I am glad I've had better experiences with VRBO because if this had been my first experience I would never use VRBO again. I can understand some things happen and nothing is always perfect, but there are too many things to be addressed for me not to be compensated for my losses.
