The apartment was wonderful. So beautiful, clean and comfortable. The entire family loved it, and the location was perfect. The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative, and provided lots of great recommendations and tips when we arrived. We could not have asked for anything additional - it was the perfect experience!

Although we ate out every night, the kitchen was more than adequate for anything including our breakfasts. The laundry was a great bonus and worked perfectly. The apartment is very spacious with fantastic bathrooms. It overlooks Campo San Maurizio so there’s plenty of people watching in the daytime and deathly quiet at night. Marco met us at the water taxi location very close to the apartment and gave us all our information and when we were ready to head to the train station at the end of our stay, one call to Enrica and our water taxi was booked to pick us up right on time. We couldn’t ask for a better all around experience!!Mark and Nancy from Maine

La Tana is the place to be, its a great location with only 8 minutes walk from San Marco square and close by to restaurants and pastry shops.It's ideal for families and friends.We enjoyed it tremendously and it was perfect for three couples. It was very spacious and clean. I would highly recommend booking with La Tana.

Proximity to everything was excellent. Had our own square, a small walk to the next square with restaurants. Marco met us from the private water taxi then walked with us to the apartment. Explained everything, left us with a map. 5 adults, everyone had a queen bed and bathroom. Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was lovely, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect , close to all the main sights but tucked away enough to feel peaceful. There were so many fantastic restaurants just steps away, which made exploring Venice even easier. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Better than you can even imagine!!

We were very excited about our trip to Venice, and had high expectations, but Venice (including La Tana) exceeded them all. This property is even better than you can imagine!! I know it sounds like I’m being paid, haha, but it’s true! You will absolutely love everything about this property!! If you are heading to Venice, make sure you stay here.

Not enough room here to summarize just how great this property is! Exceptional location and a huge apartment. Our family of four had gobs of space, but this apartment could easily hold three couples. Super convenient to everything; sits in a quiet plaza but just around the corner from a plaza with great restaurants and also near the Academia Bridge.

La Tana, was perfect for our family of 6. The washer and dryer was a plus. The weather was in the 90's and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Location was great! Views on Venice is the management company. I can't say enough good things about them. Annalise helped us with transportation and reservations l.

Lovely, well located, large apartment

Up on short flight of stairs, this was a wonderful stay. Short walk to St. Marco and Academia, longer to Rialto. Strange set up but we w ere used to it quickly. The people who represent the hosts were terrific.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful place

Huge apartment only minutes away from Piazza San Marco, Felice Theatre, Accademia Bridge and other attractions. The place was decorated so nicely with art, books and artifacts. The layout is sort of in the shape of a rectangle with an extra segment for the dining room and kitchen. One bedroom, sitting room and dining room look over the plaza Campo San Maurizio and next to Palazzo Zaguri. There is a bathroom between this bedroom and another followed by a bathroom with a large spa tub. Turning to right from this bedroom is a hall that leads to the 3rd bedroom which has a bathroom en suite. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining room is large. The management were awesome and shared information about the area, restaurants, and helping to coordinate water taxis. Note that the place for water taxis is at the end of the walkway called C del Dose da Ponte.One of the best features of this place is that it is on the first floor. In Venice, that is not the ground floor but up one flight of stairs. So nice! Plus, if needed they have a seat stair lift if needed. Beds are comfortable. Very quiet for sleeping. Baths and showers were great! Amenities are excellent.This place is so wonderful and so glad we selected this place after considering many. options. We were able to take a break before dinner as it was so close. Definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful both authentic and updated where need be apartment.It was perfect in every way. Water taxi brought us in and out just around the corner. Totally wonderful location with shops, restaurants and sightseeing sites easy walking distance. The apartment is beautiful and definitely our best stay in Eataly!! Views on Venice were great to communicate with and gave us the grand tour and lots of very helpful recommendations. We were 6 people, 4 adults and two kids and it was perfect. Great kitchen and lovely bathrooms. Spoil yourself and stay here!!!

Excellent apartment!

My family and I stayed here and absolutely loved this apartment and its charm. You will have more than enough room with the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Location is also excellent. The host was very accommodating and met us at the Alilaguna station to walk with us to the apartment and show us around before getting settled in.

A very special property. Well-appointed, great location, and absolutely spotless - the cleanest place we've ever stayed in! Check-in was seamless and the property manager was delightful. A really wonderful place to stay - highly recommended.

Amazing place and great host!

Annalisa was a responsive host. She not only arranged for our private taxi ride from the airport but was ready to help whenever we needed a ride from anywhere in Venice. She responded to messages quickly and was caring and thoughtful. The apartment is centrally located and an amazing 10-minute walk to everywhere. It's a gorgeous and spacious place and was spotlessly clean. We had a pleasant and memorable stay!

Charming and convenient apartment with decent space

Our stay in Venice was great and this apartment was a very convenient location for our 3 night stay. It is a short walk to St Mark’s while seeming less noisy and crowded than other parts of Venice. The apartment itself has plenty of space for our family of 5 and overall felt cozy and comfortable.

Late November Venice Trip

Wonderful property in a wonderful location with attentive & conscientious hosts. Our family of 4 enjoy having separate bedrooms and bathrooms for the two teenagers. Bedrooms were comfortable & bathrooms terrific. We also liked the use of laundry washer/dryer and full kitchen. The location is ideal: just steps from coffee, gelato, cannolis, pizza, & more. It’s an easy ~10 minute walk to major attractions such as San Marco Piazza, Doge Palace, St Mark’s Basilica, Grand Canal, and Academy Bridge & Gallery. Finally, the hosts (Enrica & Views on Venice team) were cheerful, helpful, communicative, & responsive. They helped arrange private water taxis from & back to Marco Polo Airport (fun & easy experience) and helped arrange a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, Roberta, to help narrate history & details of St Mark’s Basilica and Doge Palace. We will stay here on our next trip to Venice. 5-star recommendation.

Views on Venice was founded in the late 1990’s when the concept of short term apartment rentals was in its infancy and rarely considered an option by most visitors to the city. As a ‘thirty-something’ Venetian excited by the new business and communication opportunities offered by the internet, I decided to link up with a close childhood friend in creating a partnership which, at the time, was a novelty in Venice.
The idea we had in mind was to approach the traditional management of my family’s apartments from an entirely different angle, while at the same time resisting the attentions of those wanting to transform my family's palazzo into a prestigious hotel.
Our aim was to offer these apartments, as well as those of friends, for rental to an international clientele who’d take pleasure in the comfort, freedom and authenticity of ‘living at home as a Venetian’ rather than merely observing the city from the confines of an anonymous hotel room or suite.
The common denominator then, as now, was to offer ‘something extra’ amidst an already extraordinary city - an added dimension which turns a ‘stay’ into an ‘experience’ and a 'dream' into 'reality'.
