Wonderful family get-away

The property was clean, and the view was extraordinary. Seriously…one could stay here and never go into the park because of the view. It takes only about 8 minutes to drive into the National Park. It was the perfect place for a family vacation. We would love to stay here again if the opportunity arises!

Beautiful Cabin!

Great Cabin for family vacation

We rented this cabin with our 2-year-old, ourselves and Grandparents/cousins/aunts to gather for a UT football game. It was perfect for all of us to sit outside in the mornings for coffee, hike the trails, go down to The Peaceful Side for casual lunch and beers (and the kids can play). It was a perfect gathering place for 8 of us with beautiful views! We will be back!

Our Stay

All in all it was a great place to stay. Beautiful view from the living room and very spacious for me and my husband and some friends. Only downside was the wifi. Didn't have good service out there and the wifi was very slow. But all in all the place is a recommend.

Excellent Location

It is a beautiful and well-kept location. The view with our morning coffee was fantastic. We had all the necessities: bedding, towels, kitchen tools, etc. Of note, bring additional paper towels and dishwasher detergent if you are cooking each meal and with a large group. A beginner pack is provided with enough for one or two loads.

Would Stay Again

The view was absolutely stunning! The house was spacious and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The proximity to Gatlinburg was perfect without all the extra traffic. The drive up the house is very steep (just be prepared), but it's absolutely worth it for the view!

Beautiful property but…..!

The house is very nice, clean and the views are gorgeous! The hot tub was lovely! What wasn’t great was the property management company. The refrigerator was broken when we arrived (bummer for us since we showed up with bags of food to cook) which led to lots of phone calls, texts, and waiting for the repair man (who was very kind and showed up at 10:00 pm with bags of ice) - all of the kinds of things you don’t want to be doing on a two-night vaca! (Also, no blow dryer “wasn’t in the listing,” (said the property manager) so be sure to read the fine print!!) Yes, a beat-up but working (!) refrigerator showed up the next day with a “rebate” to us for 55.00 for the inconvenience of having to fish our perishables out of melting ice for three meals. I would recommend staying here, just cross your fingers that you don’t need any help!

Beautiful, Clean, Perfect

We frequently come to the Smokys for our annual girls trip. This year we decided to stay in Townsend. After an unexpected, last minute cancelation from our original host, I found this cabin and it fit our needs well. We were truly impressed when we arrived. The building was pretty much spotless and well put together. The views were beautiful. In the future, wr may just book this cabin again rather than staying anywhere else!
