Wonderful location next to Hyde Park and conveniently located near several tube lines. A little rough around the edges — the apartment itself could use a little TLC: missing light bulbs, loose tiles in the bathroom, a lack of paper towels/pantry items/scant Tolkien’s paper, a few old non-functioning appliances just left in the space. The lift/elevator was not in service the day we arrived, so had to lug our bags up 4 flights of stairs. Later in the week both my father-in-law and I got briefly stuck in the lift at different times, which is a little panic-inducing. All things considered though, we had a lovely stay and with just a little extra care, the flat would be truly exceptional.

An excellent option for a family

We stayed 5 days in London in our first visit to the city. It turned out to be a great location and the apartment was perfect for our needs. Pros: Clean, confortable beds, quiet, perfectly located near Paddington Station, and any other public transport you need. It has a market around the corner for any last minute need. Washing machineTo improve: the first impression of the whole building before climbing the stairs (3 floors) is thet it could be poorly maintained, but the apartment itself is not. The lift is broken. It would have been nice to find sugar or any bag of tea for the arrival. No broom or brush
