This 30 square metres studio/apartment is situated on the Rue de la Ferronnerie, in the pedestrian area including the Forum des Halles, a partially underground mall opened in 1979 and recently redesigne.
Close to the apartment : bakery, butchery, supermarket, open air market, theatres, restaurants, cafes, clubs, laundromat, doctor, drugstore. It is between the Châtelet and the Montorgeuil districts, a 5 minute walk from the Centre Pompidou and the rue Montorgueil market street, from the Seine river and Saint Eustache Church, and only 10 minutes to the Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre Museum and Hotel de Ville.

The apartment is at 6th floor via lift up to the 5th floor. it is furnished by a double sofa bed (convertible in comfortable doube bed for 2 persons),a table, cupboard, closets and minor furnishings. On the mezzanine, there is a double futon. The apartment can accommodate up 4 persons.

The American kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, fridge & freezer, oven/microwave, dishwasher, washing, all kitchen ustensils.
The bathroom has a shower cabin, sink and toilette ; linen and towels are available. You will find a WiFi connection and TV.
The nearest subway stations is just 2min walk away. Châtelet station is the crossing point of many Metro lines : Métro 1, 4, 7, 11, 14, and RER A, B, & D. RER Line B is directly connected with Parisian airports Charles de Gaulle/Roissy and Orly.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed this apartment. It had everything we needed when we were there. It was clean and cozy and a perfect escape after a busy day of exploring the city. Its location was excellent and we were able to walk everywhere. We would definitely stay there again.

Hostess, Orlande was very accommodating. Great teacher and didn’t let the language barrier get in the way. She immediately used a translator app to be sure I really understood how to operate the items within the home. I really loved the location too. Restaurants and bars and bus stops nearby and within walking distance to so many things. I highly recommend this home and this location.photos provided are looking at the entrance and 2 of them are views from the window from the home! Amazing!

Me and 3 friends from America who only speak English stayed here for 4 nights and had a great experience. They accommodated us dropping our bags early and had great communication throughout. Yes, it is very small but they didn’t try to mislead that, and we made it work easily with 4 people. The location is unbeatable with many Cafes right around the corner and everything you want to do is a walk or metro stop away. We felt very safe and comfortable here!

We really enjoyed our stay and the location. The only downside was there was no utensils so we didn’t eat in as much as we had hoped. The location was perfect and I would stay here again.

Six week stay

I spent 6 weeks here! It is centrally located- close to Notre Dame, Louvre, shopping, groceries, Boulanger, church. As a 75 year old guest, the elevator was convenient and always working. My grandsons and daughter used the loft and I stayed on the comfortable sofa bed. Apartment is small but it has everything you need. It was pretty noisy but closing the windows muffled sounds except for the soccer game, summer solstice music fest and pride celebration. There’s no a/c but fans were provided and helped a lot. Great place for the younger crowd.

Location is everything

We had a great time in Paris, and this location had a lot to do with it. It was right next to a train station and mall. Lively area during the day. Could’ve used a little better lighting in the entryway and hallway, but other than that great property.

Central and Clean

Amazing central location with easy access to the Louvre, Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens. Had an amazing stay! Host graciously had fans to help with the Parisian summer heat, but did need to sleep with windows open. Since the location is close to where everything happens, I’d recommend bringing earplugs if you are noise sensitive and bug spray (mosquitos loved us a bit too much!)

So good

Lovely little apartment in a great area just metres from a metro station. It was the most well-equipped apartment we’ve stayed in. We felt very safe and communication was perfect. The only thing is with four of us staying we would have liked a second key but this is the norm for a place like this.

Good things come in small packages

The apartment was perfect for our needs! It was stocked with all of the necessities, uber cute and comfortable. In fact,the sleeper sofa was so comfortable that we never even tried the loft bed. It was located steps from the subway and close to many main attractions. We found ourselves in the heart of a great neighborhood and left the windows open at night to hear the lively street noise. If you need a quick bite to eat later in the evening , no problem! Just run by a local pizza shop or eatery for late night noshing. The last set of stairs once you step off the elevator, were not an issue for us and we are in our 60s. And yes, there is silverware, but it took us a couple days to find it. LOL! It is in the living room table drawer. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect location! Very clean and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay in Les Halles at this property. It is very conveniently located in the heart of Les Halles but it was also very quiet, as it is on the top floor. Elevator goes to the 5th floor and you have to walk up the last flight of stairs which is not a problem. It was fun to climb ladder to get to the loft where one of the beds was located. Very clean, check-in and check-out was super easy. Definitely recommend!

Great location and amenities!

The place was not ready when we arrived, even though we checked in later than expected--the onsite agent was still cleaning. But we just grabbed a bite to eat downstairs and when we returned, everything was ready. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, especially the location right next to the metro entrance. It felt safe for us women and the area is very central. The apartment also has everything you need if you want to make a meal. Would recommend!

Delightful + highly recommended!

My husband and I loved our stay here. Extremely clean, well laid out, lots of fans to circulate air. Felt like a large space with lots of room to spread out. We slept one night in the loft and the rest of our trip on the pull out couch due to the heat. Both were comfy! It’s on the top floor (with an elevator + short staircase) with bustling streets and cafes around it. Easy access to metro and other public transportations. Within walking distance to the Lourve. Management/owners were very responsive and communicated well. We look forward to staying again in the future!!

Enjoyed my stay

The good: location is great, the place is clean, the bed is comfortable. The bad: there is only one drawer to put clothes in (there is a small closet with hangers and what looks like a hanging clothes holder of some sort), the couch is not comfortable. I give it four stars for what it is. It is a small apartment with a loft bed. Not to be confused with a four star hotel. It is a small space but it isn't advertised as anything else. The bed was much more comfortable than what I was expecting. Lots of places to eat and drink within a block. The subway is a stone's throw away.

This was just great!

We really enjoyed our stay here and the location was terrific! We never did figure out how to work the microwave, found the sofa a bit uncomfortable, but it was fine as a pull out bed. It would've been nice if they'd left some dish soap. The apartment was the perfect size and it had what it needed to make the stay great. Was good to have an elevator to the 5th floor, to have good lighting, a fridge. We didn't need the stove, but it was good to know we could use it. The location was so close to a lot of places that we barely needed to use the Metro, we walked nearly everywhere major. There was a great boulangerie down the street, all kinds of restaurants within a few blocks, a decent supermarket, complete w/ wine and chocolate. It could get a little noisy at night, but wasn't bad. We'd gladly go back to this place.

Wouldn’t stay here again!

We were visiting Paris during a couple of really hot days and this apartment has no AC and just a couple of fans, one didn’t work. The apartment is on the 5th floor so it was unbelievably hot! We stayed one of our three scheduled nights and then left. When I reached out to the owner to explain why we were leaving I never received a response. The lift up to the apartment is extremely small and we were very uncomfortable being in it and the stairs are old and not easy to walk up and down. The bathroom and shower are extremely small and there is only one small mirror in the apartment which made it hard for us 3 women to all get ready. The futon in the living area is very uncomfortable and noisy and definitely should be replaced. I would not choose to stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Paris Experience

My husband and I stayed at Le Chatelet late August and we loved our stay. The location of the apartment is fabulous, close to Metro, some great restaurants, and cafes . Paris was very warm at this time, we managed.to.cool the 5th floor apartment by opening windows and the natural airflow enabled it to cool, and we also used fans provided. Insect spray was appreciated. That said we didn't spend time there during the day. The apartment.is well facilitated, we made use of the washing machine, the WIFI is great. The mezzanine bed is very comfortable, if somewhat challenging, but we did manage 😄 Should we return to Paris we would return here to stay. Perfect accommodation for a couple, or parents and a child.

Cozy little flat

We loved the flat - it's really in the middle of town and we walked almost everywhere. They were two of us but I am glad we were not 3 people - it's a small flat and a tiny bathroom - it looks way bigger on the pictures but for 2 people it's ideal. Good linen, nice towles. Since the apartment is on the top floor, it gets really hot up there. There are two ventilators but if it's 30 Celcius (86 farenheit) during the day, you come home to a cozy overheated place. I would not rent it again in the summer unless they would provide a portable AC but for the rest of the year, it's fabolous.

Would not recommend

After reading the glowing reviews my friend and I were really excited to stay here. We (two females travelers) had an extended stay of two weeks. Upon arrival I immediately noticed that the floor was severely slanted and bothered me for the next couple of days until I got used to it. Every cabinet, closet, drawer, shelf, and corner was filled with linens and random decorations which made it extremely difficult for a longer stay. The bed is lofted and you can not stand - you have to crawl up a ladder and into the loft. Also the location was alright, very central but there are much better areas to stay in. Would not recommend!
