Overview
Villa Marina is located in Minies Argostoli, Kefalonia. This detached
vacation rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps
up to 8 people (7 Adults and 1 Child) with 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms.
There is a private pool (South-West Facing) with barbecue and Sea
views. Walking distance to the Beach and Restaurants.
Layout

The front door opens into the kitchen/dining area, which is open plan
and leads to the living room and downstairs shower room.
Upstairs there are 3 air conditioned bedrooms, each with their own
private balcony. Also on the first floor is a 2nd bathroom with bath.
In the extensive lawned gardens there is a large swimming pool, sun
bathing terrace, covered pergola and brick barbeque.

Living Room
The living room is air-conditioned and has a ornamental fireplace,
dining area, comfortable sofas, DVD Player, Satellite TV and Free
Wi-Fi.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine,
dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also
a barbecue outside.

Villa Marina has 3 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed.
Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned with a double bed.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

required, payable with the accommodation balance or six weeks before
arrival. Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
or additional cleaning required.

La casa é come descritta anzi secondo noi anche meglio. Pulita e comoda. Nella zona della piscina ci siamo rimasti molto piu del previsto perche si stava bene. Il barbecue lo abbiamonusato e ha funzionato be issimo. . Direi esperienza ottima. Tutto approvato.

Lovely villa

We really enjoyed the villa. Clean. Well kept. Spacious. Great pool. However a couple of negatives .. cleaners left the house unlocked after they did a mid rental clean with all our belongings in including money and passports! plus there were only two wine glasses which for a property sleeping six is poor. We bought more from a supermarket Very close to airport and planes take off all the time… didn’t bother us but just be warned if you want peace and quiet. Overall would recommend.

We stayed 10 days at Villa Marina and had a great time. Very clean and quiet! We loved all the amenities. The children loved the pool and terrace and played there almost all day which in turn gave us a break too! Hired a car for 5 days but if you dont want to, there is all you need in Minies Argostoli. Fantastic holiday and will be returning with family and friends again.

The villa had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The pool and the terrace were fabulous. Housekeeping, WiFi, washing machine, barbecue, and DVD player were of great value for us as a family. We also visited Argostolion and Lourdata and spent a great time there: tasting local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. A nice holiday overall. We will be returning.

The villa was very well equipped and a cleaner came twice during our stay. The ladies were very friendly and did a great job. Nice and spacious outside area with a private pool and terrace. Everyone in Minies Argostoli was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us directions and recommendations for places to visit. We would all certainly have no hesitation in recommending this villa.

A wonderful house with everything you need – from pool and sunbeds to barbecue and balconies and comfortable seating areas. Could not give 5* as I booked it based on the reviews and the promise of a warm welcome and being well stocked, but didn't feel this was the case. The airport is not an issue and we quite liked the occasional plane taking off/landing – although a couple of noisy days. The wonderful thing is that on arrival we walked at 11 p.m. from the airport to the property in about 15-20 minutes - not much farther than some of the car hire places. I did ask Agni about transfers but they just sent me a link to a company that quoted me about £20 pp - just wish they could have given a clearer picture rather than a generic answer. (Concerns re how many agents involved – VRBO, Host, Agni and homeowner. Also did not appreciate insurance being added on top of the price) Ammes beach is walkable in about 25-30 minutes and is lovely with a few (3) really nice bars and restaurants. We could not find much else around. The shop is wonderful. Very small, but the people are friendly and stayed open (luckily) when we turned up on the first night and had to get some supplies. There was a 2l bottle of water in the fridge in the house, some crackers and a few sachets of coffee, sugar, etc. We were hoping to find the bottle of wine but didn’t get that till the next day. Information – there were bits and pieces of information around the place. Various dos and don’ts. If you need medical help there is a phone number, but the nearest pharmacy seemed to be a drive away and we had to go to Argostoli. It is a shame they haven’t made more of the area and opened up more bars and shops. Having a car made things much easier. The homeowner visited with the welcome wine. He mainly seemed to just want to make sure we would be out of the house at certain times – once in the middle of the holiday from 10-2 so cleaners could come in (the only time they did) and once on going-home day (no provision for storing luggage - our flight home was at 10 p.m. – another reason to need a car.) On going-home day a pool cleaner started using the hose at 8.30 which affected showers! . He did turn the hose off readily when asked. There are lilos and stuff in the garage – even a table tennis table. If you like sunsets like me don’t go in June as the trees between the two houses block it out. A wonderful holiday in beautiful Kefalonia! The house is lovely.

Brilliant holiday and gorgeous weather. Kefalonia is like paradise in my opinion. Only downside to the holiday was the airport in Leeds, UK. Just ridiculously busy and it was a relief to get to Kefalonia. The villa we stayed at was spacious and bright. Overall the villa was lovely and the owners were very nice. They came to greet us with a bottle of Greek wine, which was nice. The maintenance/cleaning could have been better. The villa and owners deserve better Im sorry to say. The choice of places to eat it endless and the traditional Greek tavernas, serve some exquisite food. The beaches and sunsets are priceless. The family and I cant wait to come to Kefalonia again!

Very near the airport but aircraft noise hardly noticeable, a massive positive however , in that we were settled into the villa and in the pool in less than half an hour after getting off the plane. Excellent villa in a great location for travelling around the island. We were just two visitors but if there were 8, as advertised, 2 people would sleep on a sofa bed in the lounge . Also, comfortable lounge furniture is only provided for 4 people ( 2 two-seater sofas).

The house is very well equipped. The location is excellent, a few minutes from the airport and a quarter of an hour from Argostoli. Most of the important places on the island are less than an hours drive. The host came on several occasions to ask us if everything was OK and he was very attentive to me. The pool we loved, it has sun all day long. We will not hesitate to choose this villa if we return to Kefalonia. We appreciate having been so attentive to us when we came to ask several times if everything was fine. It was a very nice detail also to give a bottle of Kefalonia wine. We have been very comfortable in your house and do not hesitate to choose it again if we return on another occasion.
