Serviced apartment for monthly rental: fully furnished and equipped, quiet and bright apartment/flat (100 m2, 3BR, 2BA) in Eixample central location: Quadrat d'Or (Golden Square). The Quadrat d’Or is the part of the Eixample located between Calle Aribau and the Paseo de Sant Joan, around the Paseo de Gràcia.
Located in classic Modernist Eixample building two blocks from Paseo de Gracia, close to several metro, train and bus lines, and many shops and restaurants and municipal market de la Concepción.

- Separate modern kitchen, fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop/hob, oven, sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes & utensils.
- Pantry Items: We provide an initial kit of some staple items, such as condiments, olive oil, vinegar, etc.

LAUNDRY ROOM:
- Inside the flat and separate, equipped with Washing Machine, Clothes Dryer and Iron & Board.
- Provided an initial kit of supplies such as laundry soap , detergent, fabric softener and water softener.

PARKING (optional, not included): there are one private car, bicycles and motorbikes parking on the same block within 100m.
The majority of the historical buildings in the Eixample neighbourhood do not have their own car park.

Nice flat on good location

Barcelona is well-known for being a lovely city and if you get to stay on a nice place that's just awesome! The flat was clean and very bright. I went with my family and we were very comfortable there! It is also very close to the Sagrada Familia, Passeig Gracia and Plaza Cataluna. Nice neighbourhood and friendly hosts.

Apartment was exactly as advertised, very good location in Barcelona (e. g. just a few hundred meter to Sagrada Familia) and in very good shape. Eloy & Maria gave us alot of useful tips for the area around including restaurants, sight-seeing stuff and so and was really great! Can only recommend it!

Fabulous flat in the heart of Barcelona!!!

I went with my girlfriend and another couple for few days. The place is really nice, with all the amenities in good condition. Really comfy. The location is fantastic! Is literally 2 mins walking from the Passeig the Gracia! The host was also very kind. I'd definitely chose this flat again!

Amazing place to stay in, Middle of Barcelona

My friends and I went to Barcelona for a whole week. The place was very clean and tidy. It is an amazing place to stay in, especially because it is in the middle of Barcelona. The host was amazing, very welcoming and easy to talk to. For the money that we have paid it was a BARGAIN. I strongly recommend for people that want to have a nice time in Barcelona, but also to live in a nice apartment as well.

Great apt in great location!

Fantastic apt! The best one on our trip! Has 3 bedrooms so our kids each had their own room. Also 2 bathrooms (1 shower). Was really cute and clean and in a great location just 2 blocks from passeig de gracia and casa mila. The owner Eloy was so helpful and nice. Helped us get our car parked and get oriented to apt and neighborhood and even printed our boarding passes for us! Air conditioning was so helpful in the heat. We loved this apt!!

Stylish central apartment with full amenities

I stayed with friends in this apartment which appeared equal and even better than expected based on the website description, stylish, clean and equipped with all amenities, including air conditioning and espresso coffee-machine! The landlord, Eloy, was very kind and helpful even before our arrival and also provided us with useful hints on attractions, bars and trendy restaurants in the area. The location in the heart of Eixample is simply strategic, ten minutes walking from Gaudi 's most famous houses on Passeig de Gracia, and very close to the trendy movida area of Avenida Diagonal. No doubt that I will come back again to this apartment whether for vacation or on a business trip!

Excellent Stay

Stayed at Maria and Eloy's apt May 5-7 prior to our cruise departure. They were very gracious to give us early access to the apt as we were just arriving from US and needed a nap. The apt. was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 adult children. We all had our own bedroom to stretch out and relax. They had some snacks, water, milk, and juice, coffee/tea, and wine available for us. The location was great for walking to the Sagrada Familia, the Casa Batllo, La Pedrera, and main passeig de Gracia strip with designer shops like Hermes and Rolex. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. We especially liked de Tapa Madre and Primavera Cafe for excellent homemade Sangria. The apt was very clean, quiet, and perfect for us.

PERFECTION !!!

This property/apartment was absolutely perfect for a stay in Barcelona !!! It was very well-maintained, clean, and beautifully decorated.....the addition of an elevator was much appreciated as well. The pictures on the site are exactly what you see upon entrance into the apartment. Eloy was very kind & welcoming upon our arrival with many great suggestions. The area was wonderful, with quick access and walking to all the sites....we never needed to take a taxi or other means of transportation, which we liked ! We would not hesitate to rent this home again......a home that was most inviting and warm, truly a HOME AWAY FROM HOME !!! Many, many thanks to you Eloy and Maria......such wonderful hosts ;-)))

Comfortable, clean, convenient...

This apt is just as advertised. My 2 girlfriends and I stayed here for 5 days and were very comfortable. It is walking distance to Sagrada Familia (20 min.) as well as Placa Cataluna (15 min). 5 min. to metro. Very modern and clean and roomy. This apt not only has a washing machine, but a clothes dryer, too! Not always the case in European rentals. Quiet neighborhood. Owner, Eloy, lives a couple buildings away and was very accessible for our many questions about directions, dining recs, etc. He responded to our texts almost immediately. Since he lives nearby, he is very flexible regarding check-in/check out times.

Nice Apartment

We returned to Barcelona for the first time since COVID sent us home in March of 2020. Eloy's apartment is in a fabulous location. The apartment faces the center open area, so it is very quiet at night. Unfortunately, it was not as quiet in the daytime because the apartment above was undergoing renovation. The good news for future renters is that the construction should be finished and quiet will return! The women who work with Eloy in managing this apartment were attentive during checkin and in keeping the apartment clean during our stay. The bed was comfortable. Eloy was always prompt in answering our questions and he provided a drying rack and market cart when I requested those items shortly before beginning our stay. There was a "welcome" pack of a few food and beverage items to get us started and some coffee, tea, olive oil, and vinegar. The neighborhood has a wealth of convenient shops and restaurants, including my favorite bakery, Forn Sant Josep. If you are staying here, be sure to try Bar Malatxa on the corner of Mallorca and Bruc and Embat, one block to the east on Mallorca. Excellent food and good people who own and run these restaurants.

Perfect experience - we'll stay again!

What a wonderful spot in Barcelona! We stayed for nearly six weeks, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience. This was our first-ever VRBO so we were nervous about not staying in a hotel - but we're SO glad we chose Eloy's apartment because we had a much better authentic experience in a beautiful, friendly historic neighborhood. Eloy made us feel at home right away. He greeted us with snacks and tips about local places, introduced us to our neighbors and took exceptional care of us. The apartment was spacious, clean and kid-friendly. The air-conditioning was phenomenal - even during 90+ days. The beds were comfortable, the natural light cheerful, the building quiet -- you name it, this apartment surpassed our expectations. By the end of our trip it felt like home. Can't recommend it strongly enough.

Exceeded our expectations as our true home away from home.

We stayed for six weeks with our 3 year old. Eloy greeted us with a smile and a helping hand with our many bags outside of the apartment. He had wine, juice, milk, water, olives, treats for our daughter and more when we arrived. After explaining to us the features of the apartment, he helped us identify places to visit, grocery shop, etc. on a map. The apartment was spotless and beautiful. He recently completed a modern renovation of the bathrooms and they look great. Our daughter took the smaller room and we took the master. Our parents visited us and we were comfortable in the room with the twin beds. Although we enjoyed most of our meals out, we also cooked at home and had everything we needed. Pots, pans, dishes, children’s dish ware, appliances were all great. The unit is quiet, the air conditioning works well, and you’ll love the view of the courtyard. Thankfully there is a washer and dryer for long stays. A housekeeper came weekly and did a thorough job - even refilling the water in the Nespresso and leaving folded towels on every bed. One of us worked remotely while there and the Internet was consistently reliable. Eloy was always responsive with any questions or requests. The neighborhood is quiet but convenient to all the places you’ll want to visit. The Sagrada, Passeig de Gracia, Vila de Gràcia, multiple restaurants/groceries/metro stations are all an easy walk away. We really can’t say enough how staying in the apartment helped make our visit to Barcelona easy and memorable. If you have kids, there are also several playgrounds nearby. Thank you Eloy for being a wonderful host. We hope to come and stay again soon!

Wonderful city and lovely landlord!

First of all, ELoy is the most accommodating landlord. He is quick to respond and is unbelievably helpful. He even scheduled a 5:30 am taxi for us (and told me how to do it myself too) He gave us a full orientation on arrival and sent lists of restaurants, all over the city. The apartment was perfect for us and the guests who visited during our 6 week stay. The beds are very comfortable and while the second bedroom is tiny, it worked fine for a couple for several days. Having cleaning services on a weekly basis was fabulous. The location of the apartment can’t be beat. It is walking distance to everything and in the best part of Barcelona. Everywhere you look there is another architectural gem. The fresh market is a block away and to get there you pass the wholesale flower market that is a must see and “use” as well. We bought a metro ticket but never used it, instead walking everywhere. Barcelona is a magical city and this apartment and landlord are a perfect pairing for it

Nos quedamos un mes en este cómodo apartamento, equipado con todo lo necesario para nuestra estadía y muy limpio. Eloy es un magnífico anfitrión, su trato es muy amable y hospitalario. Desde el momento mismo de nuestra llegada nos ayudó con el equipaje y nos recibió con refrigerios. Estuvo en todo momento disponible para cualquier consulta o recomendación que necesitásemos. La ubicación del apartamento es muy buena, se puede caminar hasta muchos de los sitios turísticos y está rodeado de locales comerciales, supermercados, panaderías, pastelerías y restaurantes. outstanding location, excellent property

My family of four stayed at Eloy and Maria's property in the Eixample for about two months. They were excellent hosts and the apartment was absolutely great. It was clean, very bright, spacious, well appointed, and tastefully furnished. The air conditioning was highly appreciated as we stayed during summer months, when Barcelona can be sticky. The location in the Eixample was ideal for convenient access to public transportation (buses, Metro, regional train) as well as several Gaudi attractions. It was in the city, close to all the food and shopping conveniences, but away slightly from the hordes of tourists. There is a nice market that is 5 minutes on foot for all your fresh food needs. There are several craft beer stores in the area, restaurants abound, and two superb gelateria's within 10 - 15 minutes walk. The focal point of the apartment is the bright, living/dining room with nice furnishings. An enclosed balcony is attached to the living room. The windows can be opened to look down into the cute courtyard that is a common feature of the Eixample district. The large bedroom is spacious and nicely furnished. A smaller bedroom with two beds is great for young kids to share and the third bedroom is quite a bit smaller but still very comfortable. For a family of four, it was nice to have a full bath and a spare half bath as necessary.The kitchen has all that is needed to cook your meals and enjoy apartment living including fridge, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, hot water maker, several different coffee making appliances, and more. The laundry room near the entrance with modern washer, dryer, and ironing supplies was also greatly appreciated. My interaction was mostly with Eloy. He was very responsive to all our requests and made sure that the apartment was in tip-top shape for the duration of our stay. He gave us a great overview of the apartment, features, city attractions, transportation, and other information.

The hosts were responsive, courteous, and always willing to help answer questions as they came up. A decent kitchen that allowed us to cook for ourselves several nights a week. The location couldn't have been better: a quiet neighborhood that was not overrun with tourist (at least in February); a short walk to four different metro stations that gave quick access to every part of town; right between, and a short a pleasant walk to, both the old quarter and to Gracia; a few blocks from the 5th Avenue feel of Passig de Gracia; a block away from a massive and varied market full of fresh vegetables, meat, cheese, and friendly vendors; and a half dozen fantastic bread shops within a block or two. Just what we were looking for.

Very nice! Great location.

We had such a wonderful vacation in Barcelona. Eloy was so welcoming and helpful. He met us on the street, helped us with our lugguage, and even had snacks and wine for us when we arrived. The location was perfect for us and Eloy's tips for sightseeing and meals made our time in the city enjoyable. We would absolutely stay again!

The Perfect Home

Leaving this beautiful flat was hard! A beautiful apt with a delightful host. Eloy is very warm and welcoming. He greeted us and had wine, water, and snacks waiting for us. All of his communications before and during the trip were very helpful and informative. The apt itself is lovely. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. It was the perfect location for our stay and a great place to gather and relax between jaunts. We will miss our HomeAway in Barcelona!

Perfect in Barcelona

My cousins and I stayed at this wonderful apartment during our visit to Barcelona. The hosts were wonderful, as was the apartment. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably and the location was perfect! Easy to walk to bus, metro, or just browse local shops. Would definitely stay again.

You will not be disappointed!!

Eloy & Maria’s place met (and exceeded!) our expectations. Our group of 6 arrived after a long flight very tired and Eloy met us promptly so we could check in and nap! He even had prepared snacks and beverages which was so kind and made us feel at home. Everything in the flat was as described - comfortable, spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Best of all was the location - safe, close to everything we wanted to do and see, but quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Barcelona because of Eloys attentiveness and the wonderful place they have. You will not be disappointed!!

Great apartment, great location

The apartment is very quiet, very comfortable and Eloy was a wonderful host. We stayed for 2 days and the location was perfect-close to everything. There is a restaurant next door that was perfect for tapas and a store right across the street.The apartment has everything you could need, including snacks and coffee. I highly recommend it for your stay in Barcelona.

Amazing Location, Great Host, Wonderful, Quiet Apartment!

Eloy was an absolutely wonderful host with incredible local knowledge. He was friendly, accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. The apartment itself was fantastic and in a great location - in short walking distance to all the major sites. It was clean, spacious, quiet, and looked exactly as pictured. Both the host and the apartment made our trip to Barcelona great. I give the apartment and Eloy both the highest recommendation. Thank you!
