My family of four enjoyed our stay in March 2021. The home was in a great location and gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy ourselves.
The home was one-story, perfect for getting around easily with no steps to deal with. Both of my teenage sons had their own spacious rooms and shared a full bath. My husband and I enjoyed the Master suite, with a huge master bath and walk-in closet. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom, TVs in the bedrooms, plenty of kitchen gadgets and appliances and many special touches all over the home. The garage looked like it was brand new and it was so large and clean. It can fit at least three cars with room to spare.
At the end of each of our days at Lake Havasu, we would retreat to the outdoor area and soak in the hot tub - it heated up perfectly after just 30-40 minutes. We enjoyed views of the lake and mountains surrounding the property. My husband commented on the quality of the grill, where one night, we grilled steaks and enjoyed a quiet family dinner.
We were also so close to the many outdoor offerings this area has, including renting ATVs, renting a ski boat, visiting the English village and dining outdoors watching the daily boat parades and viewing the historic, original London Bridge.
Kelli, the booking agent was attentive and professional and welcomed us to the home upon our arrival. She showed us all around the home, pointing out how to work the hot tub, obtaining the free Wifi, and she even offered to give us referrals for restaurants or anything we may be interested in doing during our stay.
The homeowner left a sweet note and said we could take one of the special painted rocks - a Lake Havasu tradition of spreading kindness; we took one with the cacti painted on it since we love the Southwest so much.
We will remember this trip for years to come as some many memories were made and my entire family really got away from it all in this little slice of paradise.
