WarningOn the first night we arrived in Bologna, I messaged the property manager and told him I could meet earlier than the 3 PM check-in if he preferred. He said 12:30 PM would work. My train was delayed, so I ended up being about 15 minutes late. The guy completely freaked out on me. I explained that my train had been delayed and that he didn’t need to worry about the earlier time, but he then told me he could no longer meet at 3 PM either. He was clearly upset.He handed me a bunch of keys and said he didn’t know which ones went where—just “figure it out yourself.”The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and it took them two full days to fix it.There was trash of all kinds lying around the apartment.The lightbulbs in the bathroom were burnt out and didn’t work.The floors were filthy.There aren’t four rooms—there are only two. They simply put two beds in a hallway and called it extra “bedrooms.”There were no instructions on how or where to take out the trash, and all the locations they mentioned were locked.There were no trash bags, no dish-washing liquid, and no coffee maker.I suspect this is a large company managing many properties, and this one simply slipped through the cracks and wasn’t properly prepared.I would not stay here again.
