Sansoni Palace, bright apartment with canal view in the San Polo district of Venice



Bright apartment on the third floor of a historic Venetian palace without an elevator. The apartment features a spacious and welcoming living area from which you can admire the city’s canals. The living area includes a living room with two sofas and a television. The kitchen includes a dining table and is fully equipped for cooking, with a microwave, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster. Sansoni Palace offers two spacious bedrooms, the first with a queen-size bed and the second with a queen-size bed and a single bed. Both bedrooms have air conditioning. The layout is completed by a bathroom with a shower.



*The building is not equipped with an elevator.



*Key collection is possible from 15:00 at Rio Terà Sant'Andrea, Santa Croce, 460, 30135, Venice. Check-in instructions will be communicated to guests only after completing the online registration of identity documents, signing the digital rental contract and paying the tourist tax via a payment link sent a few days before arrival.



Known throughout the world as the city built on water, given its construction on 100 islands in the lagoon, Venice is one of Italy's most popular locations worldwide.

It is a real open-air museum, thanks to its historical and artistic heritage made of churches, palaces, and museums.

Strolling through Venice is like diving in the past: the so-called calli (streets) are dotted and framed by aristocratic buildings such as the Doge's Palace, the historic home of the Doges, spectacular bridges including the famous Rio Alto Bridge, and canals navigable by gondolas, waterbuses, and boats of all kinds.

The heart of the city is the enchanting St. Mark's Square, which houses the Basilica of the same name and welcomes thousands of tourists from all over the world every day.

The most famous local event is definitely the Carnival, thanks to its centuries-old tradition of masks and costumes that enliven the streets every year.

Last but not least, the famous "Bàcaro Tour" is a must: a tour among taverns where to taste local wine along with cicheti, typical Venetian tasty bites.

Excellent stay in a large and very comfortable apartment. 10 mins away from Rialto Market and bridge. I definitely recommend for a family or group as it has all ammenities, AC and very quiet!

Beautiful

This was the perfect place for our family of 3 to stay. It is a beautiful, peaceful setting and very clean. We loved the shuttered windows to sleep in and then open to let the light in. It was easy to walk to the places we wanted to go like the ferry to Murano and Burano, the Doge Palace, the Rialto bridge, the gondolas and the train station, finding wonderful places to eat and have Spritz along the way!

Venice Stay

Our stay here was pleasant, it’s located near a convenient area where you can reach any spot within a reasonable walking distance. The only observation was the shower, the drainage system was not working appropriately, therefore the water would quickly rise and there was no door to block the overflow so it was a terrible mess! We attempted to get a hold of management to let them know but we never received a response or assistance on this issue. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Short break in Venice

The property is centrally located - just a 5 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge. Check in was easy and the apartment had everything we needed including excellent Air-con. Would stay here again.

Partially broken, needs servicing

The apartment offers space, day light and an excellent address for a stay in Venice. But I have to say the apartment needs servicing : the TV was just down, the A/C too, the sink's tap not sealed, the dust bin's lid broken, and there were merely no cutlery which is really annoying considering a BnB is precisely a way not to eat in restaurants all the time.

A Clean Comfortable Apartment Close to Everything

Check-in was simple with clear instructions and entry codes provided. The apartment was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the Juliet balcony that overlooked a smaller canal. Excellent location.

Lovely apartment in a great location

This is a nice apartment overlooking a small canal. We were able to walk everywhere. The apartment is clean and spacious for a family of 4. No elevator but our bags were small so we were able to carry them a few flights. We very much enjoyed staying here and would stay again.

The jazz place

Great location- just a quick walk from the Rialto Bridge and located near the jazz club which was how we found it. The apartment was quiet but near enough to the action. It would have been very helpful to have some recommendations of where to eat or sites to see in the apartment. The shower needs a door or curtain- water sprays everywhere, even when being so careful. Safe location and very spacious. We enjoyed our stay here in Venice!

Roomy place & great location

Place was big & good location, walking distance of most sites. Only thing was a/c wasn't working in two rooms but they came to fix quick. Next night it stopped again & it was after working hours so couldn't get in touch with them. Other than that, overall very nice, clean place. I would stay again.

Delightful Stay in Venice

My spouse and our 3 adults daughters stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of a 12 night stay in Europe. It was our favorite venue our entire trip! The authentic yet comfortable and updated apartment was perfect for the 5 of us. The location was fantastic. Close enough to everything yet far enough away to be quiet. So nice being able to open the windows right on a canal. The updated bathroom and kitchen was super nice and the extra bed in the family room was very comfortable (as were all the beds). Very well furnished and kitchen had everything you would need. So glad we found this gem.

Venetian Magic

As the first stop on a multi-city visit to Italy, we found Venice to be a magical place and this apartment to be a perfect place to relax and recharge during our stay. The apartment is located just off the beaten path with a very short walk to the Rialto Bridge, Saint Mark’s Square, Saint Mark’s Basilica, and the Doge’s Palace. The instructions were clear, the check-in and check-out process was simple, and the kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathroom were comfortable and functional. We loved staying here and would gladly return to this apartment in a future trip to Venice.

The aparment was very nice and clean. The location was very good ..close and walkable to all sites. There were a few down sides to the apartment. First was the annoying neighbor downstairs that banged on the door and asked us to stop running and making noise when nobody was. We had literally just arrived. Second was no smart tv which I highly recommend they change since the channels are non existent. The bathroom faucet was very loose, which i contacted them about and got no response. The beds were ok,but found them a little on the hard side and tossed a bit during the night. It would be helpful if they added more essentials such as toilet paper, garbage bags etc.

Great location and nice large apartment with everything you could want

Very nice, large apartment in a great location in Venice. Easy access to the Grand Canal. You will love the apartment and the location in Venice. We had some trouble with the key to the apartment but ultimately were able to gain access. The instruction on locating the apartment were very detailed and easy to follow but we were unaware you had to turn the key 4 complete revolutions to open the lock to the door. Would be helpful for this to be in the instructions about gaining access to the apartment. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Venice and look forward to staying in this apartment the future.

Just okay

There are some positives about this property. First, it is in a good, quiet location. It is within a 5 minute walk of the Ricalto Bridge and the Ricalto water taxi stop. It is also relatively quiet and away from the typical tourist noise. It is also fairly roomy for the price.Having said that - there are negatives. The property has mosquitos, which were an annoyance. Additionally, the downstairs neighbor was difficult. Late one night he rang our doorbell and banged aggressively on our door. When I went to the door, he accused us of “stomping and banging” our feet when we were simply walking around the apartment. Our two children (6 and 9 years old) were with us and of course this scared them that a strange man came banging on our door late at night accusing us of something we did not do. After I told him we had not “stomped and banged” he walked away - but for the remainder of our stay we felt like we had to walk on egg shells any time we were in the apartment.Lastly, the property does not provide sufficient toiletries such as toilet paper. We had to buy some during our three day stay.I would not stay here again for those negative reasons.

The apartment is in great location, quiet neighborhood, in close proximity to all major sites. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious calzone and pizza! Opening the key box was tricky but I figured it out. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
