Check in-- a little disconcerting to only be given access details a couple of hours before actual check in but communication very good and prompt from the agents. Clear instructions once received.Access-- difficult with a vehicle as up a very narrow street. Parking around a 5 minute walk away though in public spaces.Property- traditional Portuguese House furnished with dark wooden cabinets etc. Kitchen is large and well equipped. We used this as the main room as the actual living room was too small to fit us all (8 people) in. We ended up using this as another bedroom for one of the teenagers in our group. The best fearure of this place is the roof terrace which provides a lovely view over the beach and town but is really underutilised. Just a table and chairs. Some sun loungers or more seating especially on the terrace above the top bedroom would improve it.Bathroom- only 1 in the property which for 8 people was pretty tough at times. There is room to build another and also install a washing machine for further improvements.Location - superb. In a lovely part of the old town 2 minutes walk to the beach and main square. I was worried it would be too noisy being so close to bar street and the square but it was fine. As mentioned before access can be a bit tricky with a vehicle but we managed alright.
