We enjoyed our stay at this neat, well-located property that sits close to many local attractions. The host was exceptionally communicative and helpful throughout our trip. However, guests should be aware that the apartment is quite small; I frequently bumped my head on the low ceilings upstairs. Additionally, the hot water is limited and runs out quickly, which the host confirmed is a known occurrence. It’s a great choice for the location, provided you don't mind the tight quarters.

The location is excellent! However, the room needs severe love to live up expectations! The bathroom is way too small and needs upgrading, the door lock is a nightmare to open, needs lighting upgrade and some furniture upgrade also, the place has good potential due to is location. The kitchen has a large sink, fridge and stove that take up a lot of room that are most likely not used much for a 2 persons unit. There is no place to rest any size luggage. Maybe a little remodeling would make a huge difference

I'm sorry but I really don't recommend this place. The host was easy to deal with and kindly allowed us to drop our bags before check in, which we appreciated. The location is fantastic as well. Unfortunately the property really needs some upkeep. There was black mold on the walls and all over the shower walls. Basic things like a working light in the main room were missing, leaving us to fumble around in the dark. The toilet seat was falling off. We were provided old tiny hand towels for the shower and we had to buy our own toilet paper when we immediately ran out... A lot of the fittings like the bed quilt looked like they were purchased second hand and were 50 years old. It might be acceptable for a youth hostel, but for the money you're paying, stay in a real hotel.

WARNING TALL PEOPLE. This place is not 6ft friendly, watch your head getting in and out of bed everyday, I've wacked my head twice off the short boards on top of the mezzanine, and the floor can get extremely slippery from the shower room. And be extremely careful entering the property it goes straight down 3 steps which my pregnant partner almost fell face first into. Other then that the apartment was brilliantly placed near some excellent restaurants and a short walk away from some major sites, and was a breeze coming back, take a stroll around, walk out to the fountain every day for brilliant sandwiches and galeto and Al42, Er Baretto, AI Tre Scanlini and if you want a fabulous restaurant with pasta dished from a plate right in front of you go to Taverna Urbana, just some of the lovely places nearby and wish I could of gone to many more. Highly recommend hiring if your dearing a Dott scooter and using the Roma pass for 10 euros to help your feet from walking to places as well.

I would not recommend this property. While the host was responsive and the location is ideal, the condition of the apartment is concerning. The property requires significant renovation and maintenance. We discovered black mold on the shower walls, and there was hair left on the walls upon arrival. Although there was an initial strong air freshener scent, it dissipated, revealing an unpleasant odor emanating from the bathroom. The toilet seat was unstable and uncomfortable to use. Additionally, only hand towels were available for the shower, leaving us unable to shower after a day of travel due to the lack of proper facilities.Due to the smell, mold, and general health concerns of being there too long we had to leave the apartment. My wife is very sensitive to mold and they smells so it was a bad way to start the last 2 days of our honeymoon as well.I really hate to leave reviews like this but I would recommend booking a hotel over a stay here.

Mi dispiace sinceramente che il soggiorno non abbia soddisfatto le vostre aspettative, soprattutto trattandosi degli ultimi giorni della vostra luna di miele. Tengo però a precisare alcuni aspetti per correttezza nei confronti dei futuri ospiti. Le presunte "estese tracce di muffa nera" riportate nella recensione corrispondevano in realtà a poche piccolissime macchie presenti nelle fughe della doccia, visibili nelle fotografie scattate durante il controllo immediatamente successivo alla vostra partenza. Naturalmente ogni segnalazione viene presa sul serio, ma parlare di un problema sanitario tale da rendere necessario abbandonare l'appartamento appare quantomeno sproporzionato rispetto a quanto riscontrato.Per quanto riguarda il forte odore descritto, ho effettuato personalmente un sopralluogo subito dopo il check-out e non ho rilevato alcun odore anomalo proveniente dal bagno o dall'appartamento. Nonostante ciò, e proprio perché desidero che ogni ospite sia soddisfatto del proprio soggiorno, ho provveduto immediatamente al rimborso integrale del pernottamento, senza alcuna contestazione. Comprendo che ognuno abbia sensibilità diverse verso odori e ambienti, e rispetto la vostra percezione. Tuttavia, ritengo importante specificare che la descrizione fornita nella recensione non riflette in modo oggettivo lo stato reale dell'alloggio. Auguro a Lei e a Sua moglie ogni felicità per il futuro. P.S. handtowel were in the wardrobe..

We never received the check-in info 3 days before traveling so I contacted the host to let him know our check-in arrival. He sent us the lock box info but the key is very difficult to use. The apt is at basement level and very dank and dark. The lightning in the main room is almost non-existent. The furniture is very uncomfortable, the bed was OK, but the pillows are horrible. Not a fan of microfiber sheets either. The bathroom shower was awesome-powerful and nice hot water but the toilet seat slides off every time you sit. My reservation was for 2 people but only towels for 1 and no hair dryer. Contacted the host and was informed that I should look in a bag in the sliding doors in the bedroom for towels and that the previous guests must have taken the hairdryer. He offered to reimburse me if I purchased one but I was on a 9 hr tour that day and didn't want to spend time looking for or carrying around a hairdryer. We never did get one.Chances are if you are coming to Rome to sightsee, you won't be spending much time in your apt so this may be an option for you, but I am not recommending it.
