While this home has a good layout, they don’t keep up with the property. We were informed on our way the dryer was broken. When we arrived, the washer was COATED in sand. We were offered drying racks to “fix the issue”. I was then offered a condo to wash my kids clothes since I picked them up from camp to bring them to the beach. I WASTeD a WHOLE day going back and forth to do laundry and was refunded $150 (when I paid PEAK season rental rates) for my inconvenience. I paid for a home with a washer and dryer and was NOT able to do laundry the rest of the week. The owners decided to not do anything about getting a replacement until a week after we left. The management didn’t bring a backup set over. We also had issues with the dishwasher which was missing a wheel and fell off the rack every time we tried to load/unload. It’s also has some shelves that are rusted and have holes. The downstairs also smelled like stale cigarettes. Don’t rent this home unless the price is below market. Also, if you do rent, bring all your own beach equipment. They have their sand toys locked up, while other homes leave them for guests to use.
There were multiple cleaning issues including finding trash under the trundle beds when I pulled them out for my kids to sleep.
Also, this street is a cut-through for people from Lake District going to the beach, so not a super quiet street.
Some positives Of the home were a good layout, plenty of pots/pans, easy to reach camp watercolor, nice porches and a corn hole game.
I realize issues can arise, but there should be discounts when the home doesn’t meet the standard of the neighborhood.
