This is a very clean and very nice quiet little spot. There was helpful bits of information listed all over the house which answered any and all questions we had. This is truly the first place I've rented and felt like a well treated guest. If we ever come to this area again we will be trying to get this place again for our stay.

We are so glad we booked this wonderful cottage for our 11-day stay in Rochester! We could feel the love and hospitality that has been poured into this place. It was lovely to be there in August to partake in the harvest of green (& purple!) beans, tomatoes, and peppers! The garden is absolutely gorgeous. The home is spacious and still feels cozy. It is easy to control the temperature and the beds are very comfortable. We appreciated every detail and amenity including coffee and spices! Note cards throughout the house were so helpful and you could feel the care in tone. I highly recommend booking this lovely cottage.

Beautiful little, character filled house. Kitchen was well stocked and organized, the garden patio was a great spot for breakfast, beds were comfortable. Temperatures in the bedrooms was easy to modify. Only thing to keep in mind is that the stairs to the main bedroom are steep, but certainly not a deal breaker!

We enjoyed our stay here as it was close to Mayo and as a bonus the cottage was nice and comfortable. The Cottage was very inviting. We will definitely check it out to see if it's open for any future stays we may have in Rochester. The host was extremely nice and answered any questions we had. Very happy to have found this gem.

Ivan and I enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life. We are (mostly) lifelong Rochester residents and are excited to share the amazing city of Rochester and the surrounding areas with you!

We LOVE our neighborhood as it provides us with the sustainable lifestyle that is important to us. We can walk or bike to most everything we need within 10 minutes. We try to be as environmentally conscious as possible so don't use any pesticides, insecticides or harsh chemicals inside or out. We live next door and the home we live in has been featured in several articles in and around Rochester as we strive to achieve as close to net-zero energy use as possible. Solar panels....green roof....double wall insulation.....all electric energy use....Oh My! If you are interested in a tour let us know! In 2021 the newest additions to our urban homestead were CeCe, Tiffany and Sunshine-three laying hens that provide us with the eggs we need. We bike around town and on the many trails as often as we can so if you need guidance on a biking tour let us know. We also love to bike to and from the many restaurants and breweries in town.

We lived in the cottage for five years before buying the property next door and doing a full renovation on it to become our retirement home. That gave us the perfect opportunity to have the cottage as a short term rental as there is a great need here for accommodations of this type. At one time we had hoped to own a Bed & Breakfast and as times changed and STR's became more popular that seemed to be the route for us. We SO enjoy all of our guests and hope to provide that "home away from home".

So CLOSE to downtown Rochester and Mayo Clinic (if the need arises) while being centrally located to almost anything in the area. So MANY parks and green spaces. LOVELY coffee shops and foods of all ethnic backgrounds.
