The property description says that it is "newly renovated" and "spotless." We found this to be inaccurate. The condo had been somewhat cleaned, but it was far from spotless, and I saw no evidence of "implementing extra cleaning and disinfecting practices between stays."
When we first walked in, we noticed that the floors were quite gritty. I realize that this is a beach environment, but it didn't seem that the floors had been thoroughly vacuumed. The lounge chairs had not been moved when the floors were cleaned, so there was dust/dirt under them. We have a toddler: when I was checking under the couch for a missing toy, I noticed that the floor underneath had not been cleaned in a while. The same was true under the bed in the master bedroom.
The surfaces, for example in the kitchen, had been wiped down, but not "cleaned." The surface under the microwave and under the Keurig machine were dirty. The cabinets had not been cleaned.
The stove top had been wiped down but the drip pans were filthy, and under the drip pans looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Even under the rings around the cooking elements had not been removed when cleaning the stove top.
Most of the glassware was dirty. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets. I ended up washing everything before using it.
The grate on the air intake for the HVAC was filthy, and the filter looked like it hadn't been changed in a long time. There was a considerable amount of dust/dirt on top of the dryer.
There was very little in the way of supplies. There was one dish towel. One! And one roll of paper towels. One! There were two trash bags. Two! One in the trash can and one replacement. I can understand being skimpy about some things (e.g., no soap in the bathrooms, no laundry detergent), but I don't understand why the owners would be skimpy on supplies that help renters maintain the property and keep it clean.
The closet in the first bedroom where the vacuum cleaner is kept was not clean. The coffee maker, which I found in that closet had not been cleaned.
These are the main reasons for my low rating of this property. Below are two things to be aware of.
1) Cars are parked three deep. If/when you want to go out, you have to contact the people who are parked behind you to get out. If you are parked behind anyone, be aware that you have to be on call to move your car.
2) The TVs are not smart TVs, so you cannot use your streaming apps. The cable is the most basic package.
