Amazing Scenery in the perfect location

The room was amazing and had everything we (2) needed for a 10 day stay. Everything was very well maintained and cared for. Invited Homes staff made it extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we possibly could need. Can't wait to be back!

Excellent stay

We loved this resort and the listing was very accurate. The property manager was excellent and available if needed. They had just the right amount of communication, check in was very easy. The room had everything as described and a very relaxing vibe. We will be coming back again. The pool and grounds are beautifully maintained and the beach is so close. It was very convienent.

Great location, well equipped room

Can’t beat this location for access to town, groceries, pool, beach. It’s perfect! Nicely decorated room, very clean and well equipped with everything you need to make meals and do laundry as needed. We were so grateful to be able to cook and make smoothies. Resort has grills too! We actually like the garden view via pool view, quiet and private. Making reservations and checking in and out was seamless.

Perfect room, super host ステキな部屋です

We are really satisfied with the room which has everything you need for your vacation. It is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The host, Nick is very kind and informative. Honua Kai itself also has gorgeous pools, Duke's restaurant (!), BBQ facilities, two groceries and more. We would like to come back! ホヌアカイは新しくリゾート感あふれるコンドです。コネア棟のこのワンベッドルームの部屋は、海がちょっぴりとメインはパークビューになりますが、部屋自体は素晴らしく、設備も揃っていて大変快適な滞在でした。

Great time!

Overall it was great! The condo is nice and we had a lot of fun. The location is great and we love the resort. This was our second time at Honua Kai. The couch and pillows need to be cleaned and the ice chest needs to be replaced. The handle falls off. A few extra bath towels would be nice since the dryer takes so long to dry. Thanks

The room was clean. I was disappointed the view was of the back of the resort. I had hoped it was of the pool area. The pool area is beautiful. Very nicely spread out. Very clean. We walked to the beach but the water was too cold to get in for us. It was nice. There are beach chairs and a cooler in the room to use which is very nice. The bed is very uncomfortable and lumpy. My husband and I both suffer from back issues and this really affected our trip as we could not sleep well with the mattress as it is. The couch and chair are old and stained. The parking garage is always crowded. Spaces are very tight to park in. We ate at Dukes twice. It was very good each time. There is a food truck court across the street from the resort and a grocery store just across from there as well. The day we were leaving, my husband got stuck on the elevator. It was very hot in there and I was very upset with the handling of the situation. After he had been in there for over 30 minutes, they finally called 9-1-1 to get the firemen there to get him out!!! He was trapped there for an hour total. The alarm in the elevator didn’t work to notify anyone. He used the emergency call but it was connected to someone in Florida. Luckily he had his cell phone with him. He called me and I called security and they finally came. It was very upsetting. The stairs are hard to find in the building. They need to make them easier to locate.

Good place to call home when you're away from home

Everything in the description was accurate with regards to the amenities, layout, and other details of the unit. It was very clean and well-maintained. Communication was great and they made it easy to get a hold of someone when we had questions. I would definitely recommend this place to others. The location was along a very long stretch of boardwalk that made it lovely for an evening walk at sunset with nearby restaurants. Early mornings, I would get up and go take photos of sunrise or take a dip in the ocean. There isn't much of a view from the patio of the unit since it is not facing the ocean, but that is clearly stated in the description. We booked this on relatively short notice and we were incredibly impressed with the service we received and this place felt like our little home away from home.

Lovely condo with updated amenities.

Lovely condo that is updated and well maintained. Honua Kai is a beautiful, upscale resort…definitely one of the nicer places in Kaanapali. Nice to have full washer / dryer in unit. Bathroom is very spacious and well done. The only very minor items we wish were different: there should be a dresser to unpack your clothes. There are two night stands and a closet. It’s a matter of personal preference, but you should be aware of the proximity to Whalers Village if that is important to you. Honua Kai is a good 45-minute walk to Whalers. If you want to be further away from the shopping / restaurants / businesses and more remote, this is a good location. It’s at the end of the row of hotels (but very beautiful and upscale). Overall, we very much enjoyed the accommodations, felt the pictures adequately represented the unit, and it served our party of two very nicely.

Great place to stay especially for families

We enjoyed our stay, Nick and Analise were excellent at responding to any of our needs. The condo is in the perfect location to see parts of the Ocean and to people watch in the park. The condo was clean to the standards of any used condo and well stocked for the daily living needs. We will definitely book through invited home again nothing but a positive experience for us. It is close to the beach and to grocery needs and has a wonderful boardwalk to go along the beach to exercise or take an evening stroll. We prefer this location on Maui for better weather and close access to Lahaina and local shops like the Whalers village which has fun unique shops. We enjoyed the food at Dukes but chose to make our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. The freezer does make a lot of noise at night so whomever is out on the couch will be hearing a lot of ice making which can be distracting. The beach is a bit rocky and not a lot of areas to sit comfortably so be sure to bring special shoes so you don't hurt your feet. We will be booking this condo again! Melissa Dominique

Great Location & Unit

The management and owners were fantastic. The property and location are great. The parking was a problem due to all the construction. The service around the pool was poor. One person came around about every 2-3 hours. The security of the pool was below par. Kids were screaming in the adult pool, and it is a quiet pool. I also asked one waiter to get a couple of pool chairs out of the pool area as they were a hazard. They were ripped. He replies, "I can't do anything, I work for Duke's." He did say he would tell someone, well 4 days later everything is the same. This is in no reflection of the owners or management company. Just something I felt the need to mention. The unit was nice and clean, soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion, all from Maui. Laundry packs for doing laundry. Welcome Maui coffee, water and small cake. There are 2 huge ice dispensers in the garage to fill coolers or even for ice in the unit. We will return and enjoyed our stay!! Thank you🌸

Lovely Maui condo

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious and well-appointed condo. The lanai has a lovely view of the lawn and a peek ocean view. Generously sized bathroom and beautiful kitchen. The resort property is in a great location with Duke’s onsite and other restaurants close by.

Great stay with family

Property and room was clean, new and updated and great location. Great rates comparable to the rest of the island. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Maui mini vacation

This place was perfect! It is beautiful and perfectly laid out. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The free shuttle into Lahaina was awesome as I needed to visit a sick friend. 5 stars!

Toujours un plaisir

Nous n'en sommes pas à notre première expérience au Honua Kai , un superbe établissement et très bien localisé , tout était parfait exception du matelas qui devrait vraiment être changé....Maui rentals ont aussi été très coopératifs pour les quelques questions que nous avons eu.
