A perfect getaway

We had a great time at the Little Red Cabin. It is a perfect location - far enough from the tourist hotspots to be quiet, but easy and quick to great locations. The property is charming, giving a real rustic cabin feel that takes you away from your normal life. The listing underplays how fun the little beach at the bottom of the stairs is - so nice to sit in the sand and take a dip in the cleanest waters you’ve ever seen. The furniture could use an upgrade, but didn’t take away from how charming the house was. Would recommend whole heartedly.

Deck is magical and lake access is super special. Awesome little spot for us!!! Great communication and support for making it seamless. We absolutely loved it and hope to return!

We had a wonderful weekend on the lake with kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. The water was refreshing and the weather was perfect.

Great Tahoe Gem!

Perfect little cottage on the lake! Easy drive into town and across the street from a couple great hikes for amazing views of the lake. Looking forward to staying here again.

Best rental in Tahoe

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The little red cabin has become a very special place for my family. We have been going there every year in the summer, for several months ears now, sometimes more than once a summer. The sunset views from the deck are incredible, the location is convenient, and the little private beach is beautiful. We love that it is dog friendly and you can’t beat walking down the steps to take a swim with our dog in the crystal clear water. The cabin is built around several pine trees, which adds to the old Tahoe charm. It is expensive, but to my family it’s well worth it for such a special place.

Magnificent Location

Great location on the lake. Private Beach. Cozy rustic cottage. Saw a big bear out the kitchen window but it completely disappeared when I went to show my family.

Family Weekend Getaway

Great location and setting for small family. Provided a great base camp for day trips and in the afternoons a place to unwind and watch the sun set with million dollar views.

Loved staying in the mis cabin!

Everything was great, it was very celan, kitchen had pots, forks, spoons etc. ! Loved staying there hopefully in the future we can book here again!

The location couldn’t be better

The location couldn’t be better. The cabin is as described, built in the 1920s, so it is quirky and unique. But it has everything you could need, and having the lake on your doorstep is unbeatable!

Heavenly Snowbound

Private, beautiful setting on the lake. Fantastic wrap-around deck. We deliberately went for the snow and weren't disappointed! Peaceful walks, bed was so comfortable! Heating and hot water excellent :) Rustic, charming property. Loved our stay!

Mostly good / view is spectacular

The view is SPECTACULAR from the deck. Master bed is a king and very, very comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked. Minor points: There is a fair amount of road noise. Sofa in living room doesn't seem to match the photos and is not comfortable. Chair in living room was old and had dog hair all over it.

Amazing House and Property

This was the best place to have a lake vacation! The house is full of history and charm but the location.... 10/10! The view is amazing, the deck is large and a perfect mix of sun and shade at all times of the day. The private beach is just a few steps away and the water is perfect for kids and adults. My kids (age 11-14) snorkeled for hours and had plenty of space to never get bored or feel crowded. We loved every minute and can't wait to stay again!

Amazing Cabin On The Lake

This is our 3rd time here. We just love it! It’s the perfect size for my husband, dog and I and has everything we need. The Property Manager is always available and very nice. Just steps to the water, quiet, large deck with amazing views (sunset, lake, mountains). Walking distance to Cave Rock hike and boat launch. Short distance to South Shore if you need a people fix or entertainment/shopping.

Long Weekend at Tahoe
