the location to beach is perfect. Its a quiet beach without a lot of fanfare but close enough to fun activities and restaurants. Neighbors above us were always stumping around but I still recommend this place so close to a most beautiful beach.

Great Location! Needs some updates

Great location! Walk out back door on to the beach. Very quiet and family oriented. Gave only 4 stars because the COUCH is unusable. No way to sit on it. Must be replaced. Other than this, it was great.

I booked this condo for the second time. The price is right, being in the first floor is priority, and it's right on the beach where I don't have to lug kids and bags back and forth. The second stay was dirty. I the floors were missed because there was sand everywhere; there were boogers stuck to the bunks and something spilled in the bottom bunk and want cleaned. Other than that, kitchen was clean and we felt good using it and eating out of it. Love Miramar because it's less crowded than Destin.

Windancer stay

Toilet tanks were disgusting and had black mold. One tank would not fill and you had to go in the tank and lift the lever manually. We had to use toilet tissue to make sure the meeeold didn't get on our hands. How gross!!! Closet doors in bedroom didn't close right. Please, please clean those toilet tanks and fix the one that doesn't flush.

Beware to read every line on VRBO an DO NOT COUNT on Real Joy to make sure you know everything!

locatioin is great, condo has electrical issues had to spread the plug ins of our chargers an hair dryers to get them to stay in, sliding door lock is broken an will not latch, unit is not fully clean. Construction is going on an dusty, loud an hazzardous to walk. It is placed in the VRBO site but if you dont read every line you will miss it. Real Joy says nothing of this as they will miss a sale so if you have a lung diease like me an my wife you do not matter, an they did not care. Also the walk under the scafle to get to an from the beach is fun when they drop a hammer an scare you to death.

Vrbo and Real Joy websites state that "*there is ongoing construction in the complex from July to January which may result in loud noises from workers and equipment as well as parking lot closures. Work is scheduled to be completed prior to the end of January*." We apologize for any inconvenience and discomfort caused by the ongoing construction. We see that we received a message from you on the 26th, after your departure, regarding "serious problems" during your stay. We returned your call but we were unable to leave a voicemail. We would have been more than happy to send someone to try and remedy these issues had we been made aware during your stay. We will forward your comments to property managers so that they may make sure that these issues have been resolved. Thank you for choosing Real Joy.

Clean property, the only complaint I have is it is next to steps and you can hear everyone tromping up the steps and people above us had kids that jumped all the time. So you could hear them from above. Also the kitchen faucet is sensitive, it leaks if you don’t turn it off correctly.

Couldn’t have chosen a better spot!

Loved everything about this rental . It was perfect for little kids/babies being able to walk right out our patio to the beach . Everything was so clean . Wonderful wonderful stay. Will definitely stay whenever we’re in destin! Beach attendant was exceptional as well.

Great Location....Specific Issues

The location of this building is WONDERFUL. Being on the first floor was amazing and so easy for our family to get to the beach. However, this specific condo has a lot of noise issues. It is right under a wooden staircase so you hear everyone going up and down the stairs. The walls are also very thin and you can hear everyone walking above you. This isn't specific to this condo but we had issues with having bad upstairs neighbors that went unresolved for our 6 nights there. Overall you can't ask for a better location for the building. I believe our issue was specific to this condo.

Overall the property is ok. The location’s proximity to the beach is amazing! The listing says that it comes with beach service set up of two beach chairs and an umbrella but unfortunately there was a mix up and only the last day that we were there was it set up for us for free. I attempted to call real joy multiple times and was on hold for up to 30 minutes with no answer. I left a message and received no return call. With everything going on with the coronavirus I would love to have rescheduled our vacation but real joy was not willing to work with us on that which I thought was distasteful on their end. With the coronavirus chaos it was hard to get items we needed for the rental because the property comes with the bare minimum. With 6 people there, we ran out out of toilet paper by day 3 of our 5 night stay. There was only 2 tabs of dishwasher detergent which isn’t near enough for the amount of dishes a family of 6 is going to need. There is two bathrooms but there was only 1 hand towel so that was annoying. Luckily there was a washer and dryer on sight so we made good use of that to ensure we had plenty clean and dry towels. Overall, the unit is so so which I didn’t expect it to be all that fancy so that was fine, but working with real joy was the downside of the trip because they are not very responsive.

Your stay coincided with the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and our systems were simply overloaded.
