Upon arrival, we found the neighborhood to be a little sketchy, mostly older apartments and row houses, but had no problems with neighbors or noise. The interior of the house was very clean and nicely modernized. It was very bright with stainless kitchen appliances. The bedrooms upstairs were large and I thought the beds were very comfortable (I like a softer mattress). We did cover the couch with a sheet because it had water stains all over the cushions. The air conditioning is a big negative of this nice space. The downstairs had a window unit that struggled to cool the lower floor. In addition to having the A/C on high at it's lowest temperature setting, we had to have a fan circulating in the living room in order to be cooled. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a portable A/C unit that cooled THAT bedroom well but left the other bedroom unbearably warm. My two teen-aged daughters were in that bedroom and they were miserable. They had a fan on each of them and we tried directing the cool air from the one bedroom into theirs with another fan but it did little to help. (If you have teen-aged girls, you know what a treat they are the next day if they didn't get good sleep.) It was also oddly humid in the apartment. We found our snacks and vitamins got soggy if they weren't in very tightly sealed containers.
Overall, it was a nice, clean, modern apartment with cooling issues in a slightly run-down neighborhood. I'd stay there again in the cooler months, but not in the summer.
