In general we enjoyed our stay. My feedback would be that not all people can tolerate the scented deodorants used in the beach house. I have allergies to scents. Both myself and my daughter were so bothered by them we removed the batteries from 2 of them but then found others each bathroom!

Hosts were very communicative, thoughtful, easy to work with. Their home is beautiful and completely furnished, and their huge upper deck is the highest in the neighborhood. 4-5 min walk to the beach across the street. All in all, a perfect getaway with A Hosts.

Great long weekend

My family spent a long weekend at Jamaica Joy and we had a great time. The house is clean and tidy and walking distance to the beach! The patio is nice and the house is fully stocked with whatever you may need and so well organized. We definitely recommend!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We spent Father's Day weekend in Jamaica Beach with our very close family friends. There was 8 of us in the house, 4 adults and 4 kids ranging 1-12 years old. It was perfect for our little weekend getaway. Walking distance to the beach. Loved sitting out on the balconies at night. House was exactly as listed. Owner was easy to communicate with. And the top deck was so cool, the kids loved going up! Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

This was a great place to stay for our family. The beach is a really short walk from the house and the house is close to places for food and coffee. The host was great and made check in and out a breeze. Can’t beat that beautiful deck view!

There were 6 of us and this place slept us all with ease. The futons and beds were comfortable and the ample amount of parking space, grass, and commodities made this a very comfortable stay. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back!

Wonderful stay in a great location

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The beach was within walking distance located in an excellent area of Jamaica beach. The property was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It also had an excellent view from the deck. Ponch was great to communicate with and was always responsive. Thank you for helping us build great memories with our little ones!

Family really enjoyed staying and was a short walk to the beach. Owner had great communication and the place was just as advertised. Upper deck view is beautiful, furnished comfortably, and right by local restaurants etc..

The house was very cozy and beautiful, they had everything we needed for our stay and gave some wonderful recommendations of places around the area. I wish we could have stayed longer but definitely going to try and stay here next time we visit.

So close to the beach!

We were very happy with this rental. It was clean and snug. The deck was wonderful for morning coffee and enjoying the ocean breeze. It was an easy walk to the beach even with a 2 year old.

Long time lover of the Salt Life! Owners are an old Navy Corpsman and his amazing Wife. We lived many years in Austin near the Oasis. We have adopted their tradition of ringing a bell and sharing a " toast" at sunset from the top deck.

Friendly, quiet community away from the hustle and bustle of city life or your typical vacationer experience. Here it always feels like your own little sanctuary. Holidays and mid summer get busy but that's always the case at the beach.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Jamaica Beach is a quieter experience and a quaint community on west side of the island away from the super heavy tourist traffic. This is a family oriented area where you don't have to cross the busy street or drive to the beach. Almost everything you need for a relaxing vacation is located within walking distance from this cottage. There is a park in community with basketball court, playground, and a pool. There is Dollar General 1 mile east, and a grocery store 1 mile further west if you have forgotten something. There is a Grill/Pizzeria and a Wine Espresso Bar. Seafood with Shrimp & Stuff food truck, and Waterman's Restaurant all close by if you want to dine closer to the house.
What makes our home unique is the 3 levels to enjoy: 1) Bottom level for grilling with plenty of room to set up chairs and hang out , 2) Main house level / deck with table and chairs for dining while enjoying the view of the Gulf, 3) Top deck with amazing views of the gulf and sunsets over the bay. There is always a nice breeze on the top deck and we spend many hours up there enjoying the sounds of the waves long after the sun has set.
We lived many years in Austin near the Oasis. We have adopted their tradition of ringing a bell and sharing a " toast" at sunset from the top deck. Be sure to carry on the tradition and ring that bell!
