このユニークなオープンプランの家は、ランドリー、マスターバス、ハーフバスを除くすべての部屋から素晴らしい海の景色を眺めることができます。 家は2004年に建てられ、2000平方フィート、2つの暖炉とホットタブがあります。 上の階には、太平洋を見渡す7つの大きな画像ウィンドウがあります。 クジラだけでなく、ケープから打ち上げる漁船やパラグライダーもよく見られます。 鹿は、家と海の間の砂丘を渡り、多種多様な鳥と一緒に見られることがよくあります。 ビーチまたはケープへのセミプライベートパスでのハイキング/散歩は10分未満ですが、砂丘を上下にハイキングする必要があります。

この家の最大の利点の1つは、太陽が沈むにつれて遮るもののない海の景色を眺めることができることです。 はい、夏、春、秋の太陽は窓から海に直接沈みます。

The house was spacious and very clean, beds very comfortable. Was amazed at all of the dishes and utensils in the kitchen. The view was so peaceful and great for watching whales and the dories. Brian, the host, gave excellent instructions and information prior to the visit - we had no need to contact him during the stay.

The house is fantastic. Very clean and nicely furnished. All three bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The view from the top deck is beautiful. We even had an eagle perch in the tree during one sunset. Be aware there are a number of stairs that could be challenging for those with mobility issues. I can’t say enough good things about Brian and his communication during booking and the check in process. A truly exceptional experience.

Better than photos and very clean. Kitchen is very well appointed. We loved the location easily walkable to Kiwanda dunes. The trails behind the house were great. Loved being in the trees with a great view of ocean.

Simply spectacular! Amazing view, clean, spacious, quality furnishings, well-stocked kitchen with quality cookware, timely and helpful communication from the owner ... so many great things to say about this home/property and our experience. We really appreciated all the nice touches in this home. How wonderful that our foster dog was welcome to come along. It is obvious that the owners really care about their guests having a great time and being comfortable.

Wow! What a beautiful house and location! We had everything we needed, just as described and depicted. The beach access was great too. The climb up the dune was easy and straightforward. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pacific City and the central coast.

This is one of the nicest VBRO’s we’ve rented! The house was extremely clean and very well stocked and maintained. It’s perched on the hillside with an easy walk down to the beach and a nice workout getting home. ; )We had great communication from our host!

The house is even better than the pictures! Nice view of the ocean and trees behind the house. Nice deck to sit out and watch the ocean and sunsets. The house is immaculate. The kitchen is very well supplied. The beds are comfortable. Showers are great . . . Lots of water pressure. Great tub with a view . . . Unfortunately, we were not able to use the tub because the drain stopper was broken. Brian said he would have it fixed. There were many board games to play. Plenty of towels and blankets. And, there are restaurants nearby. The only disappointment was that the trail to the beach behind the house was not an easy hike. I hiked half way and turned back. We opted to drive to a local beach. But, other than that the house is amazing.

Great stay!

This is easily the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. The kitchen was fully stocked, beautiful view of the coast, and the space was so clean. Truly a great stay and we would love to rebook in the future.

Excellent Property

We have stayed at several homes in the area and this is one of the best. From the location to the amenities everything was top notch. Especially, appreciate the doggy details! Will be staying here again and highly recommend.

Brian is a software developer who grew up in the Pacific Northwest. Gloria works in finance and grew up in Cornwall, England. We have a Boxer named Zoe who wishes she could spend every day at the house on the Cape. Brian and Glo purchased this house from Herb and Bev in January of 2011.

Cape Kiwanda is a special place. The ocean views and wildlife are like nowhere else. Pacific City is also a great little town. The energy is good there.

We enjoy watching wildlife from the house, especially the whales and birds. Hiking the cape and walking the beaches with our dog is part of the daily routine. Enjoying a pint of IPA from the patio of the Pelican pub on a sunny day is also a favorite.
