このユニークなオープンプランの家は、ランドリー、マスターバス、ハーフバスを除くすべての部屋から素晴らしい海の景色を眺めることができます。家は2004年に建てられ、2000平方フィート、2つの暖炉とホットタブがあります。上の階には、太平洋を見渡す7つの大きな画像ウィンドウがあります。クジラだけでなく、ケープから打ち上げる漁船やパラグライダーもよく見られます。鹿は、家と海の間の砂丘を渡り、多種多様な鳥と一緒に見られることがよくあります。ビーチまたはケープへのセミプライベートパスでのハイキング/散歩は10分未満ですが、砂丘を上下にハイキングする必要があります。

Great stay!

This is easily the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. The kitchen was fully stocked, beautiful view of the coast, and the space was so clean. Truly a great stay and we would love to rebook in the future.

Rained In

We came to the area for some fishing and whale watching, but due to the weather, all our outdoor activities were canceled. Lucky for us, we were "rained in" at this lovely property. It was more than enjoyable just to sit and look out the window all day! The view is spectacular. We did not cook in the kitchen - going out for dinner gave us something to do and there were some great places to eat - but it certainly appeared well stocked, and there's plenty of room for preparation and dining. The house was very clean, and I'm very picky! Everything was as described in other reviews - excellent. Brian sent all pertinent information before we arrived, and there were no surprises. We are hoping to come back some day!

Great views and a great house!

Overall a wonderful property. Yes, lots of stairs but totally worth it for the upstairs view. We had plenty of space for hanging out. The kitchen was fully stocked so we cooked a few times. The walk to the beach and dune shouldnt be attempted if you have any mobility issues but we didnt mind the exercise and if you want to drive down to the main beach by the brewery is is just a short distance. We had a fantastic time and and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful & Comfortable Getaway

Great location; awesome view. We enjoyed the sunsets, walks on the beach, surrounding trails and treks to the quaint downtown Pacific City. It was a nice, relaxing place to spend with our dog at the beach. A lot of stairs up to the main level.

We had a great stay

Beautiful home with a great view. You get lots of exercise on the dunes. There are a lot of stairs in the house so be prepared for that. The house is clean and well equipped. You will enjoy your stay. Plus you might get lucky and see whales like we did.

Wonderful holiday

The house is clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Plus I could go on and on about the spectacular view. The ocean waves framed by typical PNW greenery were perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Coastal View

Perfect setting for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The dining room had a fantastic ocean view. Our family enjoyed hiking the dunes and cape.

Excellent Property

We have stayed at several homes in the area and this is one of the best. From the location to the amenities everything was top notch. Especially, appreciate the doggy details! Will be staying here again and highly recommend.

Beautiful. Well appointed House

Thanks Brian for a great stay. The view is fantastic, the furniture so comfortable and I enjoyed seeing your personal serve ware in the kitchen. Everythingi s very high end. My son especially enjoyed the binoculars and telescope. He spent a long time on the deck last night. It's generous of you to share those items. Thanks again. Also loved the electric vehicle charger.

Amazing place!

We love this place! Bryan was accommodating from the minute I booked and answered all of our questions promptly. The house is beautiful with an unbelievable view of the ocean. The house is clean and very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were plush and bright white. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing rental

The views are stunning, Brian is communicative and very hospitable, and the property was quiet. We would love to stay again. The house was clean and it was everything we wanted for a week long get away from the city. Thank you and hope to see you again in the future. I highly recommend staying here.

The best stay in Pacific City

We had the best vacation. The house is beautiful with breath taking views. The kitchen was a cook's dream and we made some amazing meals there. The beach and Cape Kiwanda was a great experience. We will be back next year!

Spacious and dog friendly!

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful beach house for the weekend! The house was everything we could have hoped for, very spacious, all updated, amazing view. Perfect for our group with the dog too. Bit of a hike up and down to the beach but the almost private beach once you get there is worth it. Brian was very quick to answer all our questions and was overall a great host! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views! We saw a lot of whales, an eagle flew between the trees outside the front windows. The sunsets were amazing. Your home is clean. Having an enclosed backyard is perfect for our dogs. Thank you for letting us check in early. Shopping, and beach access... Perfect! We can't thank you enough!

Pictures Aren’t Enough!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The pictures don’t come close to capturing this perfect hidden gem! The house was very clean. Location was just right with plenty to explore! We were close enough to things we needed but in a nice quiet area. We felt very safe as well! Owner provided exceptional information and details to really make you feel at home! 10 out of 10!!

Amazing Views. Beautiful Home

Views of ocean are beautiful. Lovely home. Big kitchen, large dining room and very comfortable living space. King beds in all 3 bedrooms. Well furnished and very clean. Large master bath. Two big decks. Fenced yard for dogs. And did I say dog friendly? Yes it is. There were even extra dog bowls. I highly recommend. Stay here.

Guys Getaway

A couple friends, my dog and I stayed for almost a week. Incredible view, very nice, well stocked with everything we needed (including dog bowls, bed, etc). Vigorous, but fantansitic walk to and from the beach. Quiet and convenient location. May be my all time favorite rental on the Oregon Coast.

Gorgeous home, fantastic location!

We loved our stay in Brian’s home. Check in was seamless, home was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and we loved the views and location of the property. We appreciated that this was a pet friendly home and they were well stocked with dog towels, bowls, and even dog beds - which felt above and beyond! Communication was easy and Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We will absolutely be back here for a stay in the future!

60th Birthday Celebration

Amazing home for gathering. The views were beautiful, from the deck chairs or in the spacious living room/dining room. The kitchen was well equipped with all our cooking needs. Generous with towels, wam blankets & large bathrooms. Will definitely stay again.

Great beach setting

House was very comfortable. Lucked out on the weather and the deck was perfect. Sunsets were fantastic. Although a bit of an exercise to reach the beach (need to get to the gym), the dunes and beach on both sides were wonderful. Would book again if available. Thank you to the host. You have a beautiful beach house.

Brian is a software developer who grew up in the Pacific Northwest. Gloria works in finance and grew up in Cornwall, England. We have a Boxer named Zoe who wishes she could spend every day at the house on the Cape. Brian and Glo purchased this house from Herb and Bev in January of 2011.

Cape Kiwanda is a special place. The ocean views and wildlife are like nowhere else. Pacific City is also a great little town. The energy is good there.

We enjoy watching wildlife from the house, especially the whales and birds. Hiking the cape and walking the beaches with our dog is part of the daily routine. Enjoying a pint of IPA from the patio of the Pelican pub on a sunny day is also a favorite.
