Lovely convenient location

Great location steps away from everything you want to walk and see in Faro. Two stories with kitchen/sitting are on the ground floor, washroom 2 bedrooms, sitting area and a small outside balcony made this a very nice place to stay. Very friendly host.

Great in Faro

Veronica was fantastic to deal with, right from the start, she took good care of us and had many suggestions on great places to see in the Algarve. The location of the apartment could not have been much .. close to the action, but not so close that 8t kept you awake. Thanks Veronica !!

In dem zweigeschossigen Häuschen haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Alle Unternehmungen konnten wir mit nur kurzen Wegen durchführen (Schiffsausflüge, Zug- und Busreisen, Altstadtbesuche).

Very nice typical house in perfect location

We had a wonderful time in this house, Veronica's welcome and kindness was perfect with a lot of useful infos and nice welcoming pastels de nata as gifts! The house itself is excellent, rooms are nice and living room and kitchen well equiped. The small terrasse is a plus! The location is perfect very close to the old city and everything nearby. The streets around are also very quiet. There is also a parking spot in front of the house dedicated for the house, even though one tourist took it at the end of the stay but plenty of places were available nearby. We recommend highly this house for both the quality of the service and the welcome and kindess of the owners! Lise, Elias and Ali

Juste ce qu'il nous fallait !!

Séjour de 6 jours à FARO au mois d'aout. Maison idéalement située pour apprécier et profiter des animations de la vieille ville. Quartier calme. Maison bien entretenue et propre, parfaitement équipée, climatisée. Que demander de plus!!!. Super accueil et disponibilité si besoin des propriétaires, qui sauront également vous conseiller pour les restaurants et vos escapades touristiques. Grand merci à eux. Je conseille !!!

Straight from the Heart, indeed!

One of our favorite things about traveling is the people we meet, and Veronica and Bruno are no exception. Veronica greeted us with a big smile and a warm welcome, and throughout our stay let us know that she was available to help with anything we needed. Bruno and Veronica have remodeled a 200-year old city house into a modern home away from home for travelers. The small house has 2 levels. The street level has a very well equipped kitchen with table and chairs, a small sitting area and a storage room. Up the original stone stairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen-size bed, the other with a single bed, a bathroom and a sitting area. Of special note is the larger-than-most shower compared to many in Europe! Both levels have air conditioning and windows that open. We were able to do some cooking and laundry, and used the beach umbrella, towels and tote for our trips to the islands. There is even a luggage scale for those who have packed lots of gift purchases in their luggage. The location is ideal; a couple of minutes from the Old City in one direction, and the wonderful pedestrian streets filled with shops and restaurants around the house. A short stroll through the Old City takes you to the waterfront of the Ria Formosa. The graciousness of our hosts went above and beyond expectations. We were a bit sad to say goodbye; however, Veronica said to call her if we needed any assistance while in Lisboa! Thank you, Veronica and Bruno, for an enjoyable stay in Faro. And we loved meeting your beautiful baby!

Liebevoll eingerichtetes, zentral gelegenes Häuschen

Das Haus liegt zentral, ist gut eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten waren bequem. Besonders nett war es, die erste warme Frühlingssonne auf dem kleinen Balkon zu genießen. Von dort aus haben wir in Faro alles zu Fuß erkundet. Der Busbahnhof, von dem aus wir zu anderen Orten gefahren sind, ist in ca. 7 Min. erreichbar. Die Vermieter waren in der Kommunikation schnell und absolut zuverlässig. Wir kamen recht früh am Morgen an, konnten vorzeitig einchecken und wurden noch mit sehr leckerem Kuchen begrüßt. Bei der Schlüsselübergabe erhielten wir alle wichtigen Infos, im Haus gab es aber auch noch eine Mappe, in der alles überschaubar aufgeführt war. Nach der Rückkehr wurde die Kaution schnell zurücküberwiesen. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Faro kommen, würden wir sofort wieder dort buchen.

Des hôtes vraiment conviviaux, aux petits soins pour nous, très disponibles répondant à toutes nos interrogations quelque soit le sujet. Le logement est fidèle aux photos, très propre et fonctionnel, très bien placé dans la ville, accès direct aux commerces, aux transport (bus, train , bateaux....)

Wonderful stay - again!

We stayed at Straight from the Heart last year and loved it so much we returned again this year. The house is lovely - very well-equipped, perfectly located near the marina, the old town and shops and restaurants and only a five minute walk from the bus station. Veronica and Bruno are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. We highly recommend this property and are hoping to return again.

excellente adresse à Faro

Arrivées avec presuqe 3 heune de train), Veronica et Bruno sont venus nous chercher à la gare et nous ont accueillies chaleureusement (merci pour le plateau de bienvenue avec l'essentiel pour le p'tit déj du lendemain). Très jolie maison, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, dans laquelle nous nous sommes senties comme chez nous. Elle est très bien placée (commerces, supermarchés, gares, ferry pour les îles, vieille ville...), tout peut se faire à pied. On sent que Veronica et Bruno ont plaisir à recevoir. Une adresse à garder ! merci pour tout ! obrigada !

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Straight from the Heart. The house is immaculately presented and there is everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Veronica and Bruno were wonderful hosts and responded very quickly to requests. They even met us at the bus station and drove us to the house on the first day. We thought that the welcome tray was a lovely touch and indicative of their hospitality. The balcony is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine at any time of day! We loved the position of the house - it was so close to everything. A two minute walk brought us to the old town and the marina and we were able to walk to the bus station and the train station in about five. We enjoyed exploring Faro and the local area on foot and by bus and train. There is an excellent bus service from the airport which costs euro2.22 and it is also easy to reach places such as Vilamoura by bus. There are plenty of places to eat near the house and three supermarkets within easy walking distance. When we return to Faro we will stay here again and wouldn't even consider looking for anywhere else. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Veronica and Bruno, for your hospitality and for providing us with so many lovely memories of our stay in Faro.
