The Space:

Kas Honkie Tonkie is a single-level vacation home in the Sur Salinja neighborhood, offering pleasant garden views and 110 m² of living space. Supermarket Zhung Kong is 2.4 kilometers away, Isidel Beach Park is 1.5 kilometers, restaurant It Rains Fishes is 1.2 kilometers and dive center Dive Friends Den Laman is 1.5 kilometers from the house. In the private garden you will find a regular private pool with pool deck and several seating areas, allowing you to fully enjoy Bonaire’s outdoor lifestyle.

Guest Access:

As a guest of Kas Honkie Tonkie you have access to the entire home, including both bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the living room with a/c, open kitchen and all outdoor areas such as the private garden, terrace, covered porch and pool deck with private pool. Parking spaces on the property and on the street are also available for your use. To warmly welcome our guests and explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals in person. The Sunwise hosts of the property will arrange a meeting time with you for your arrival.

The Neighborhood:

Sur Salinja is a quiet residential neighborhood just outside the center of Kralendijk. You stay in a relaxed, local area with mainly homes, while the coast, beaches and island facilities remain easy to reach by car. The neighborhood offers a pleasant balance between calm surroundings at your accommodation and the option to quickly drive to the boulevard, restaurants, and various dive and snorkel sites.

Getting Around:

Kas Honkie Tonkie in Sur Salinja is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer than just the immediate surroundings. With your own car you can explore the island at your own pace, from remote snorkel spots and dive sites to local restaurants. We highly recommend renting a car so you can truly get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas such as Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The roads in the park are unpaved and can be rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise ship days.

Other Things to Note:

Check-in is from 3PM and check-out is by 10AM. Early or late check-in/-out may be possible on request, depending on other bookings. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down in the evenings. Enjoy your stay at Kas Honkie Tonkie!
