Creek House at Cabins on the Square | 2BR Log Cabin on Wimberley Square

Creek House at Cabins on the Square is a 1,188 sq ft Hill Country log cabin directly on Wimberley Square with guests-only access to spring-fed Cypress Creek.

The two-bedroom cabin spans two levels and sleeps up to 7 guests:
Upstairs king loft
Downstairs full-over-twin bunk bedroom
Queen sleeper sofa in the living room
One full bathroom with walk-in shower

The living and dining areas give families and small groups room to gather. The kitchenette includes a full-size refrigerator, microwave, two hot-plate burners, countertop bake/air-fryer oven, toaster, blender, Keurig, drip coffee maker, cookware, dishes and utensils. There is no built-in range or traditional oven.

Outside, Creek House has a private patio with propane grill, a front porch with seating and two dedicated off-street parking spaces.

Guests of Cabins on the Square enjoy access to approximately 200 feet of spring-fed Cypress Creek frontage. Creekfront seating, the deck, fire pit and yard games are shared with other Cabins on the Square guests.
Restaurants, coffee shops, wine tasting rooms, boutiques and galleries on Wimberley Square are all within an easy walk.

I can’t stress enough how absolutely perfect the cabins are. They check all the boxes: cleanliness, location location location, amenities, communication etc. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay again and again. 10 out of 10.

Overall our stay was excellent. The property was as advertised, clean, close to everything and the hosts were very responsive. We are planning to come again during cooler times. The only 2 things that could’ve gone smoother was the electronic keypad on the door worked a little differently than described and we didn’t find any dish soap/sponge to clean the dishes with so we had to spend a few bucks at the nearby HEB (no dishwasher in the unit). Other than that, excellent.

We stayed in the main cabin and my sister in laws family got another smaller cabin next to us. Something we both commented on with one another was how clean each of our cabins were. The host was so sweet and made us feel like no question was a bother at all. We come to wimberly once a year to meet up with family. This was our 1st time staying on the square. We loved it. Location can't be beat! See you again next year!

Best family vacay we've had anywhere in Texas! Kids couldn't have been happier same with the adults! The amazing location plus being on the creek was truly the best combo for the whole family & the friends we had come meet us for a few days were equally as impressed - we are already planning on renting the whole property this summer with several friends & their kids! Thanks for the amazing experience, hospitality and accommodations - we 10/10 recommend!

Location was exactly what we wanted - right in the middle of town. Everything walkable! Cabin was clean, beds comfortable (!) and kitchen well equipped. Appreciated the parking too.

We were looking for a short drive getaway from San Antonio, Texas. We stayed 2 nights and found the cabin to be well equipped and very comfortable. The property is located at the end of a culdesac type drive, through a row of retail spaces. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We brought our bikes and the property was central enough to get to other interesting destinations, such as Blue Hole park, which I would recommend. The cabin was well stocked with what we would need for 2 nights. I appreciate how clean the house was and the front porch had been cleaned before our arrival from leaves and cob webs. The water level in the creek was low, so there is currently no running water sound, which is what we had hoped for. There are 2 private parking spaces provided for this rental. I would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing log cabin

This log cabin is walking distance to shops and restaurants, yet private. Great firepit and bedding. Very impressive.

Perfection in the heart of Wimberley!

If you are considering a visit to Wimberley TX do yourself a favor and stay at the Cabins on the square. The location cannot be beat with easy access to downtown Wimberley, VIP reserved parking, and beautiful Cypress creek in the backyard. This was one of the most clean vacation rentals we have stayed in and communication with the hosts was a breeze. We cannot wait to go back!

Awesomeness

The Main Cabin is gorgeous and comfortable. We loved the location on Main Street. It was close to shops and restaurants! The areas to sit on the property were so relaxing and a great place to chat. If you choose this location in the quaint town of Wimberly, you are going to have a wonderful, relaxing, and comfortable stay!

Best experience ever!

This property is clean, comfortable and so convenient to everything in Wimberley. Reserved parking right at cabin makes it so convenient. This was our second stay….never disappointed. We’ll be back next year! (Beds are so comfortable!).

Perfect Cabin Retreat

We loved our time at this cute cabin! It is very clean and well cared for. The property managers were very easy to work with and answered my questions promptly. We especially enjoyed the proximity to Cypress Creek. We could just step out and go down to it. It was beautiful and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Bookclub Getaway

This property was absolutely beautiful and picture of perfect! Beds were comfy everything was clean! Only things that were MINOR inconveniences is the bunk bed was pretty wobbly and we wished all the windows had coverings. We will be back!

Great cabin and great location.

We atayed at the Main House. We loved the coziness of the cabin. Everything was great. We were just bummed about not being able to use the fire place, however the fire pit outside made up for it. The cabin was well furnished and very clean. The yard had plenty of shared seating spaces and access to the creek The location was awesome, it was in walking distance of everything in the square. We will definitely be staying there again.

Most Wimberley cabins are rural and creekside, which means a car for every meal and errand. This one is both walkable and on the water: step off the porch to restaurants, coffee, wine tastings, boutiques, and Market Days, then come home to swim, wade, or relax by the creek.
