Our reservation was booked to begin on a Sat at 4:00 pm. Room was not ready at 4. Sat in hallway for almost 2 hours waiting for cleaning staff to finish. Finally got into room around 6:00 pm. Very unapologetic response from management by replying that I should read the fine print that check in times are not really guaranteed so that’s not really their fault.
As we are waiting in the hallway, my husband goes down to the front desk to get our parking pass per the instructions, and our reservations are nowhere to be found in their system. Even though we can show them our reservation information, it doesn’t matter because it’s not in their system-because the on-site management company is not the same management company as the condo-Ocean Reef. So, another call to Ocean Reef about Parking Passes to request they call on-site manager to update reservation so we can get our pass. 30 mins later, we have our parking pass as we continue to sit in the hallway.
Next day, we get ready to go to pool but have no wristbands needed for access-which are supposed to have been left for us in the condo. Another call to management company at 8 am to request wrist bands which we finally received at 11. By Wednesday, we noticed the AC not cooling as well so we put in an online work order request. Indoor temp was reaching about 78 in the day and 73 in the middle of the night. Thursday morning around 8 am, I called to check the status and reported that it was 78 and they said they would escalate. Maint techs finally showed up around 11:30 to tell us they couldn’t fix it and need to call an expert that should be there in an hour. By 2:00, no one has showed up so called again. Was told they couldn’t find a vendor but was trying. I requested fans to be brought to the condo as it was now around 80 degrees. Finally got fans around 3:30! Please understand-all follow up and requested were made by me. The only return call by the management company was around 4 telling me they found a vendor. Vendor finally showed up around 4:30 , made some adjustments, and finally we had cool air. We were then told to be very careful as the unit was old and needed to be replaced so it could go out again at any time 😳
