Great location but be aware there are over 150 steps. If you get dropped off near Chapito a Mesa restaurant (fabulous dining/eating experience) you carry your luggage down 50 steps as opposed to carrying luggage up 100! Had to follow up with contact a couple of times to gain info re checkin at midnight. Quite helpful, met us at the airport with key. Had queries re wifi password and use of Whirlpool washing machine. No response. Minutes away from Sao Jorge castle and Pastelaria Santi Antonio. Great location without a doubt!

Disappointing Experience: Substandard and Dirty Accommodation

We stayed in this accommodation with my best friend and my boyfriend, and our experience was extremely disappointing. On the first night, a cockroach crawled on us, which was already shocking. The shower was clogged, the showerhead holder was broken, making it very uncomfortable to use. Several lamps were not working.The TV became unusable after a few minutes, with the colors inverting completely. The washing machine, although properly plugged in, didn’t work at all. Moreover, the furniture and decorations shown in the listing did not match reality, and the apartment was dirty: hair in the shower, dusty floors, dirty dishes, and dust everywhere, despite the cleaning fees charged.We immediately contacted the host, providing photos to support our observations. Their response was that the apartment was considered "habitable," refusing any financial compensation. Apparently, the accommodation would need to be deemed unsanitary to warrant a refund, which is unacceptable given the misleading listing and the overall condition of the place. I also asked for the procedure to access the "livro de reclamações," mandatory in Portugal, but the host read my message and didn’t respond. They vaguely mentioned a "gesture" for the broken washing machine, but after asking for details about this gesture, they stopped responding.I strongly advise against this accommodation. The listing is misleading, the amenities are faulty, the hygiene is deplorable, and the customer service is nonexistent.

Appartement décevant

Nous avons été déçu par cet appartement. Une seule fenêtre sur tout l'appartement donnant directement sur la rue. Les passant nous vois directement. La porte ressemble plus à une mini baie vitré. Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre. Tres bruyant, et nous avons pas eu de chance les escaliers étaient en travaux au moment de notre séjour. Point positif l'appartement est bien situé. À côté du château, et juste à côté de jolie point de vue. Pas loin également du tram 28.
