Backyard Oasis

Perfect location that is a short ride to the beach or downtown. The backyard makes you forget you are in the middle of a neighborhood.

Perfect Spot for my Son’s Wedding

We stayed the week of my Son’s wedding. It was a perfect location from the venue and the outdoor space was amazing. Our Dogs loved the fenced in yard and we all loved the pool and hot tub. The house was well stocked with anything you could need. The host was easy to communicate with and I would recommend this spot for any family vacation. It’s close to everything and we had a Great Week. We will definitely be staying there again.

This home was comfortable cozy and decorated nicely. The pool, hot tub and outdoor grill was enjoyed. We were in town for a wedding and was minutes away from everything we wanted to do in our spare time. The home had plenty of room for my husband and myself , our two adult sons and one daughter-in-law. This owner/manager was excellent to work with. He was quick to reply with any concerns or questions and was quick to resolve any issues we might have had in fact if I could have given him 10 stars I would do so.

Quaint home with stunning backyard

We really enjoyed this house. It’s an older home but has character and so cute and quaint. The location is perfect and close to so many things! You’ll love your stay here!

A world of bliss

The home was quaint and so comfortable. The neighborhood was friendly, quiet, and safe. The pool and hot tub were sublime. I’d stay again and again. I have nothing but positivity and fun memories!! Highly recommend!

The house is fairly rundown. The hot tub, the pool, and the outdoor shower were great. I felt the bedrooms were oversold. We were three adult men. Had we’d been four it would not have been comfy.

Great Yard

The home was very nice and close to downtown. The yard and pool were amazing. My dog loved running around the yard. The home is a little older but it is kept up. The fountains on the pool weren’t working which was a little disappointing. The owner was very easy to get ahold of and answered all questions quickly.

A great 3 week stay

We recently spent three weeks here escaping the cold New England weather. We found the house, while older, to be quite charming. The location was great, very easy to get to downtown Wilmington as well as Wrightsville beach. The owners have changed the dining room furniture which now includes a sturdy table with seating for six. A love seat has also been added to the living area which increases seating there. The backyard is beautiful with the pool and chase lounges and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. During our stay we liked being able to walk to Trader Joe’s as well as Longleaf Park. The owner and property manager were both very friendly and extremely easy to work with.

Not worth the price, but we made the most of it.

The house is well-worn. Not up to other vrbo property standards, although the washer, dryer, refrigerator, hot tub, and outdoor shower were all great. The yard needs major attention and sprucing up. Most house windows are completely obscured by bushes. Grass is sparse. Pool fountains not working and need to be cleaned out. However some of my family enjoyed the pool. Bed in master BR needs updating. Owner was very responsive to all of our texts.

Awesome Backyard & Fantastic Location

Very cute home in a safe neighborhood. Our family (dogs included), enjoyed this quaint home and took full advantage of the private back yard. The covered picnic area with grill & sink, and fun pool rocked! We spent most of our time in the hot tub. We were surprised to find an outside shower to rinse off after playing at the beach all day. The kitchen was a nice size & well equipped. We also appreciated plenty of linens & towels. The kids even made a new friend, a very sweet neighborhood kitty cat! The property was located in an older safe neighborhood, with great tree’s. The house was less than 10 minutes from the beach, and attractions/shopping. Great place to relax and chill out! We were greeted by fresh cut flowers from a little on site garden and a kind “welcome” note upon arrival. We would book here again. Thanks to the owners for sharing such a cool place.

Very disappointed

My family and I rented this home for my sons wedding. To say the least, this home did not meet our expectations at all. I’ve stayed in many VRBO’s before this one and I would have to say this was the worst. The whole house was in terrible need of an update. The original wood floors creaked and cracked with every step you took. There is no way anyone can sleep though someone walking around the house if you had too. There was mold in the shower and in the water dispenser on the refrigerator, roaches dead and alive in the house and very dusty. The ceiling fan in one of the spare rooms was coated with dust and was so old that it looked like it was falling apart. The other spare room had dog hair all over the bedding that we had to wash the next morning. Needless to say I will not be staying there again.

Not Good

The house was nice, but the property manager never sent us the access code to the house. We got to the house at almost 6pm with our friends and had to stand outside in the heat trying to get a hold of someone. Property manager did not answer emails or phone calls so we had to call customer service. Spent forever on hold with them to get the access code. With the amount of money spent to rent, and the extra payed for being over the 6 guest limit (we had 8) this was ridiculous to have to deal with. Very disappointed. Pretty place, but I could have rented a house through someone else and not had to deal with this inconvenience. Not worth the price, do not recommend.

Very relaxing! Home was so peaceful.

Very prompt owners for every thing we requested or questioned. Handyman was very kind as was the pool maintenance man. We were blessed to have this place so close to the Wedding venue.

First time in Wilmington

Had a wonderful stay, the house is older, but still well maintained, and the pool area is very nice! Had a couple of questions during our stay, and all were answered promptly. We would definitely stay here again!!

Wilmington Vacation!

This property fit exactly what we were looking for. It was secluded enough to have privacy and the small town vibe. The pool was amazing during the hotter temperature days and the outdoor area was easy to utilize for dinners and social gatherings. The beach was only about 7 minutes away and was easily accessible. It was a great stay!!

Family Getaway

The property was convenient to everything we needed. Nice cozy older home that has had some updates, but was sufficient for our family needs while celebrating Thanksgiving. Two things to consider: the dining room table is a high-top so not conducive to people that may not be able to navigate higher seating; those that aren't "tech savvy" or aren't familiar with apple tv may have trouble navigating the television, and there isn't access (that we could find) to local news/weather. I would recommend a "welcome" book that has instructions as some renters may not be familiar with some of the great amenities this property offers. I will say the owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions.

We were happy with the house and outside amenities. It was located in a great neighborhood with easy access to local attractions and restaurants . The only issues where we couldn’t get the grill to light. We didn’t have extra trash bags and dishwasher soap. Plus instructions on how the TV works would be helpful. Due to so many people using different TV systems it’s very hard to figure out how each one works. Over all we would stay again and would recommend to anyone.
