We had everything we needed but the toilets were rather stained and we had to put that right. Also the bins (recycling & rubbish) had not been put out prior to our arrival, so being half full when we arrived, we had filled them and made damn sure they got put out last night for collection.

Not what I expected

. The place was filthy. It’s needs a good clean. I would not walk on the carpet in bare feet. There was no vacuum cleaner. The dryer was disgusting. I don’t think the filter has ever been cleaned. It wouldn’t hurt to have some milk in the fridge on arrival. The Towels are past their used-by date. And there was NO WiFi. I would not recommend this property

Weekend family getaway

Great location. Quiet property. Property well laid out. Check in process went smoothly. A couple of things to note. Bathrooms need a deep clean. Showers had mould in them . Bathroom floors weren't clean . Property missing a few basics.. Face cloths. Mirrors.(large). Towels need replacing. Overall we had a good stay but property needs some attention to bring up to renting standards.

The property is very central and walking distance from the city centre, shops etc The condition of the property is ok however we were greeted with a musty smell and the cleanliness was poor. The property lists a bbq which it has however it was so filthy it took us a few hours to get it clean and burnt off to enable it to be fit for use. The fat tray was so thick with fat it was a fire hazard. The showers had mould and after seeing the overall cleanliness we spent the fisrt evening putting everything through the dishwasher before using it. The dishwasher had a mouldy teabag in the bottom also which was pretty disgusting. The vacuum cleaner did not work so we had to sweep the carpet when in need of a clean. When booking I booked for 2 adults and 1 child accidentally and contacted the property manager to let them know we would have 4 adults and 1 child for which I was chaarged an additional fee however when arriving there was no clean additional bedding set out for the fold out bed which we found in the garage (not stored in any manner for use by a paying customer) and the bedding was located in a tin cupboard also in the garage shoved not folded requiring washing before use. (We left this cupboard neatly organised for the next occupants). The house lacked a long mirror which I notice had been highlighted by previous occupants and on 2 occasions we had baby cockroaches crawl across the kitchen bench. An absence of basic utensils, bowls etc and burnt pots which needed scrubbing.

Central place for all activities

Excellent location, easy walk to the city centre. The place was nice and clean however did have a musty smell. Overall we loved our stay

Staying in the City

Excellent location of this property especially to the main city. Easy walking distance. The property has everything you need in it my only suggestion would be more mirrors located close to electrical outlets. Overall the property was clean and tidy. Shame about the full rubbish bins outside one of the bedrooms.

The location is good

The location is good. The accommodation were fairly basic missing welcoming and homey touches. Contacted owner about burned out lightbulbs (4) and dirty/sticky countertops and tables upon arrival. Clean accommodations are a top consideration for most when booking.

We were somewhat disappointed.

We were somewhat disappointed. The property is advertised as "awesome". It was just satisfactory, I would describe it a adequate rather than awesome, especially as we have been to a couple of truly awesome places - and at a lower price. Our niggles are minor, like cheap and nasty cutlery and crockery, inadequate towel rails or hooks in the bathrooms, etc. It is correctly described as near the centre of the town, but that is no great benefit when you need to drive to local attractions.

Location was fantastic very near shops. Was lovely and clean. Beds very comfortable and water pressure excellent. Only one think missing was either having a plug in bathroom for shaving or doing your hair or could put mirror in bedroom near dressing table. But over all had a wonderful time

Location was awesome - close to everything.

Location was awesome - close to everything. Property very tidy and clean inside. Free WiFi and heat pump was great as it was cold and raining when we were in Rotorua. Overall satisfied with our stay - thanks!
