This cottage was ideal for our family with two living rooms, a beautiful view of the lake, a quiet road, a well-appointed kitchen and impressive grill & smoker. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was where you would expect it to be. Hosts were prompt with communication & very welcoming.

This home has all the amenities and was a great stay for our adult family. You don't need to pack much because this property has everything! There were two large open living spaces. With wall to wall windows looking out over the stunning views of the lake. Easily eight of us and a dog had plenty of space. Two exits into the patios. The bedrooms were equally spacious and cozy. The backyard and deck spaces were well thought out with lots of chairs and one big and one smaller table. A BBQ plus a special smoke BBQ! Also a wonderful fire pit at the side of the property. The views were spectacular across the lake, sunrise and sunsets. There are steps down to the water fo a quiet lake view. Just note no access for water sports or swimming. The owners were very responsive to any questions or needs. We made great family memories during our stay.

Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear your family (and pup!) had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the cottage, from the open living areas to the patios, backyard, and fire pit. We’re so glad you loved the lake views, sunrises, and sunsets, and that the amenities made your stay easy and enjoyable. It’s wonderful to know you created such special family memories here—we’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime!

The host was very responsive and the.Cottage itself was gorgeous and well maintained. The only downside for me was not understanding that although there are stairs to the beautiful blue waters of the lake, you cannot access the water. It is very difficult to be so tantalizingly close to the crystal clear water and not be able to swim. Unfortunately I did not see this in the ad, it was near the bottom of the very long description. I would fully recommend this cottage to non swimmers! I suggest making it more clear at the top of the ad that you cannot swim here. We did end up having fun and driving to a beach. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! I’m glad you enjoyed the cottage, its upkeep, and the beautiful lake views, and I truly appreciate your kind words about communication. I completely understand your disappointment about the water access and appreciate your suggestion to make that detail clearer in the listing I have updated the description so future guests know exactly what to expect. I’m happy to hear you still made the most of your stay and had fun exploring the nearby beaches. You’re welcome back anytime!

Great views, comfortable furniture with lots of seating

Had a lovely time. Our only regret was not being able to have a shower. For older adults, the bathtub was very high to step into. There are no grab bars. Anyone with balance or mobility issues could not use it. A walk in shower would have us coming back every year
