The staff were absolutely amazing and did everything to make our stay wonderful. The pool heat was not turned on until the day we left and the jets in the jacuzzi did not work. I would 100% stay there again!

The rooms were kept clean and tidy by the staff, the food was well prepared and served as per our chats with Oscar. We were all impressed by Oscar’s dedication and commitment to making our stay the very best possible. No detail was too difficult for him and we all wanted to clone him to take home with us!Just a tiny aside; I would like to see the outside steps marked clearly to ensure everyone’s safety, especially in the evening light.

Our hosts, Simon and Fernanda were incredibly communicative and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Javier, the house manager was lovely and warm and endlessly helpful. Celene made amazing, fresh food and her daughters even came to help. Gris kept everything clean and perfectly stocked. The views from this villa are unmatched and the people of PV and Mismaloya are truly so special. We were a group of 12 women on a retreat and there was plenty of space to relax, connect, and just enjoy the beauty, while also having roomy private accommodations and our own bathrooms. We were on our last full day when the violence erupted in PV following the death of El Mencho, and not only did we stay safe at our villa, they made sure we still had food and supplies and could stay until we were able to safely fly out. Truly cannot express our gratitude enough for the staff, who were in a scary and stressful situation and were still concerned for us and our comfort and safety. We will forever hold this place as special- for its beauty and for the generosity and care of the people of casa azul profundo. I hope people come to visit soon, and if you do, don’t hesitate to book this property for your group.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul Profundo. Roger was very helpful in providing information we needed. He also helped with planning the food regularly and communicated prices well. The house was very spacious for all of our guests.

Amazing staff and location!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The entire staff was accommodating, responsive and professional. The views were beautiful and the food was delicious. There were a few plumbing issues but these were not problematic as there were many options and staff was responsive to our needs. We would return. Huge thanks to Javi, Pedro, Mani, and Itzel each of whom was outstanding in their respective role. They helped make this an exceptional vacation.

Fantastic Place!!

Staff is unbelievably friendly and generous with their time. All seem completely focused on keeping guests happy. Beautiful home, beautiful views, great location. Nicely perched on a cliff. There is a local beach within a short walk (away from town). It is an easy quick Uber ride to go into Zona Romántica (the artsy district). Perfect mix of out if town and close to town. Food was amazing too. Probably wouldn’t be good for small kids because the cliff. Great for big groups. Will definitely be back.

Best birthday trip!!

I planned a trip to Casa Azul Profundo for my 30th birthday with 20 friends and it was nothing but exceptional. Roger, Luis, Javier were all amazing and made our stay so welcoming and easy. The food from Luis was to die for, everything was so fresh and he made picking the menu each day so easy. Javier made the best drinks for our group every afternoon, and Roger made all the logistics so seamless and helped us with any excursions we had throughout the weekend. I would recommend this property highly to anyone looking to book a large group trip!! It’s a beautiful location just 10 min walking to the beach and various stores. We loved every minute of our stay and I hope to make it back here someday!!

Amazing Place

Our stay at Casa Azul Profundo was wonderful. The views from our rooms and the pool were amazing. The staff was very kind and attentive to all of our needs. Roger and Aaron are very hard working and kind, they made us feel very special. Salina is an excellent cook every meal was delicious. Lily our house keeper did an awesome job on our rooms and the entire house. You have a very special staff and property that has been well cared for by the wonderful staff that you employ. We will definitely return to this property in the near future. Thank you!

Excellent Stay!

Casa Azul Profundo 1 was spacious and comfortable, and the view was beautiful! The staff was excellent and very friendly! We appreciate Jabier who coordinated everything at the house and made us drinks and made sure all our needs were met. Griz did a wonderful job of housekeeping and always had a beautiful smile and greated us with Buenos Diaz every morning! Abraham cooked us delicious meals and baked us some great desserts, especially the chocolate cake to celebrate 3 birthdays in our family, we truly enjoyed each meal, and Angel helped also in the kitchen while his arm was still healing. Gracias to all of them for making our stay so Exelente! We had a week to remember and felt like a family well cared for for an entire week! Simply excelente!

Amazing Location and Amazing Staff: 100% Recommend

I can't say enough good things about this property and the staff at the property. We were treated like Kings and Queens the entire time. The pictures of course are beautiful, but they still can't capture the true beauty of the property. Every room has it's own bathroom and we had 17 people at the dinner table - with lots of room to spare. We fell in love with Roger, Javier, and Louis from the minute we arrived. Roger was there for us at any given moment to assist in arranging transportation and giving us advice. Javier was our waiter (yes, a waiter is included - crazy right) and he never let us go a minute without a drink. (PS: Javier has the most amazing smile that will brighten your day no matter what). Louis is the chef and let me tell you what - he cooks food to die for. Every bite as incredible! Spoil yourself and book this property. You will not regret it. I will find my way back for sure - I promise Roger!

Wish We’d Known!!

Lovely welcome from April and Xavier. They are so gracious and helpful. The web description says the beach is a 3 minute walk! Not so - it’s at least 10 - 15 minutes single file along a very busy, somewhat narrow road. That’s the only beach that’s remotely walkable. With 2 80+ year olds and a 5 yo, it was not an easy activity. With a group that large (15), it would be helpful if you asked the ages so we could be informed of the very steep, cobblestone driveway we needed to negotiate anytime we walked… even to catch a bus. Also should inform guests about the family of raccoons who make nightly visits. Glad our door was closed!! They came into the house right next to our room! Our family has a property management business so perhaps we’re looking at this more carefully. But it’s a beautiful property, plenty expensive and a few considerations would have made it easier and more pleasant.

Best Spring Break Trip Ever!!!!!

Our week-long trip for our college spring break was amazing...we were so sad to leave!! Every single bedroom was absolutely incredible, the views were stunning, the pool always heated just right, and it was incredibly relaxing but also so convenient when catering to our spring break celebrations. Casa Azul Profundo is an absolutely amazing place---for relaxation, rejuvenation and creating the best memories. I am so thankful that we were able to stay here and have an even better time than our friends on Xtreme Trips (trust me, we compared!!) The staff was also incredible. Roger became like family during the week, we wish we could bring him back to school with us! Every meal prepared, every snack we wanted, every drink made, all clean towels, spotless rooms and cozy beds...anything we wanted was right there. The security outside the villa at night was also great...sometimes we even felt more safe here than back at school. Roger made us feel so safe, always monitoring our schedule, knowing what we wanted to do or eat before we even thought about it ourselves. He was the highlight of our trip, and we have made plans to reunite here with him in upcoming years! Juan was also an amazing driver. He waited for us always whenever we left the villa, and made sure we were safe upon arrival back home. At night, he would stay until he was certain that we had unlocked the door and gotten inside. Talking with him as he drove us around was a treat, learning his story and realizing how much he cared that we were safe and secure. I can only hope that every other group in the future, including spring break groups, have as amazing of an experience as we did. Roger, Juan and us girls became very close on this trip and we owe all of our enjoyment to them both! Thank you so much Simon!!!!

Beyond Words (group of 20 and 30 somethings)

tl;dr: Roger is the greatest, the views will make leaving the home and going anywhere else during your stay tough, great food, beautiful rooms. So it's tough to top all the great reviews that are already here for this home, but I will at least add to the 5 stars and heap on the praise. I'll start with the best, and this is probably Roger and his staff. We absolutely loved him. None of us had ever stayed at a house with a staff before, so were a little unsure how it would work, or if it would get awkward having someone we didn't know hanging about. That fear dissipated instantly. He was there when you needed him/wanted a drink, and would know when to hang back. From the morning coffee/pastries ready when we woke, to the setting up cab rides/group trips, to just being a fun guy, he was flat out awesome. Now onto the house. The reviews all say pics don't do it justice, and I nod my head and say, "sure, I'm guessing it's nice and all, but it can't be THAT nice". Well it's that nice, it really is. From the moment you walk in the front door you get a cool sea breeze and an eyeful of beautiful blue water. You walk down the marble stairs while admiring the tall thatched style roof and open air everything (living room, dining room, kitchen). When you get down to the main living area you realize the view keeps going. As you see in the pics you have a great view of Los Arcos and the bay of Puerta Vallarta, but than you look left and all you see is green mountains plunging into the water. The view is unbeatable. Almost every room and bedroom takes advantage of this. Not really any downsides to this home. I was hoping it would be a little closer to down town Puerta Vallarta, it ended up being a 20 minute cab ride. But you really won't want to leave once you get here. We really did end up staying in more and just drinking and singing Karaoke (1st night there we wondered into Mismaloya and sang some karaoke with the locals, Roger heard about this and got us a sound system and mics for the rest of our stay...awesome) I could go on about everything we loved, but I'll end here and say do yourself a favor and go to this home and have the best vacation of your life.

HANDS DOWN...THE MOST PHENOMENAL WEEK OF MY LIFE!!

The word EPIC is overused, but it this case here...EPIC is an UNDERSTATEMENT and there truly aren't enough words in the world to properly convey the magnificence of this property and the staff.  Our group of 33 has been in mourning since we had to leave and I've spent every day since then figuring out how quickly we could return. THE STAFF:  ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL That is the best way I can describe them.  Roger, Aaron, Jorge, Selena, Sylvia are EXCEPTIONAL and I literally sobbed when I had to leave them...they are family now.  The above and beyond amazing treatment, constant care taking, continuous companionship and unparalleled excellence we each received cannot be overstated!  These people are angels on earth!  On a side note, 3 travelers had a big passport problems and nearly every single day ROGER (my new favorite human being) compassionately and professionally jumped through hoops, took long rides to the consulate, and utilized every resource known to man to rectify and solve the problem...I am forever grateful for his kindness and invaluable devotion . THE PROPERTY: COMPLETELY EXTRAORDINARY From the start of my quest in planning, paying, questions, etc...the owners made it a seamless process and were so helpful and responsive. The Casa itself is EXCEPTIONAL and each room, each view if more breathtaking then imaginable. FOOD: SENSATIONAL They catered to our every need from grilled Lobster to preparing the fresh fish we caught...We introduced them to BANANA DAQUIRI'S...and I'm surprised that the blender motor didn't burn up.  Some of our favorites included the Huevo's Rancheros, Chili Relleno's, black beans, Carne Asada and Enchiladas. TRANSPORTATION: Utilizing Juan for airport transport and for important trips moving large groups worked really well, the average cost is $10 pp each way for the 40 minute airport run...I would recommend using UBER for other less important trips. Our week long stay was 100% PERFECTION,  FIRST-CLASS, SUPERB, EXCEPTIONAL, REMARKABLE and 1000% other positive words!!  If you are considering a stay here, stop considering it and book it immediately, it will be the best thing you have ever done! CASA AZUL PROFUNDO and all that it encompasses owns a piece of my heart forever and I AM ALREADY PLANNING MY NEXT TRIP THERE!

Pictures Don't do it justice

You know when you're shopping around on the internet for a vacation spot and you see all the pictures that are unbelievable and when you get there it's not quiet what it seemed? Well, I've been on quite a few vacations so I've lowered my expectations on what I see online. So when I saw Azul Profundo on line I figured if it was just half as good as the pics showed it would be fine. Well, I was wrong! This Villa was twice as good as the pics showed. What a layout, open walls and floor to ceiling windows in every room overlooking the Pacific on a bluff 100 feet above the surf crashing in on the rocks below. There were 4 couples-2 in their 50s and 2 in their 30s. This place met the needs of all of us, I don't know how it couldn't meet the needs of anybody, you feel like royalty here. All the bedrooms we had, had balconies with views that literally took your breath away. The infinity pool was 85 degrees, the barstools as the sun was setting with a Pina Colada in your hand, hard to get any better than that. The beach was a 7 minute walk away where you could rent boats, kayaks, jetskis etc. Old town was a 15 minute busride that cost 75 cents. I saved the best for last. Roger and the staff were (trying not to overstate this) out of this world. The maid had our beds made by noon, towels from the previous day were washed, dried and laying out. Rooms were cleaned daily. The cook was more like a chef, we would make a 2 day menu list and they would run to the local markets and it would be sitting on the table at whatever time we coordinated. Picture yourself sitting at the dining room table with no wall overlooking the infinity pool to the sun setting over the Pacific.The second to last night we had the Chef's brother dive for Lobster and it was sitting at our table for our last Dinner. Then there's Roger, what can I say about Roger except we all wanted to take him home with us. He couldn't have been more accomodating, quiet when he sensed we wanted it and engaging when we were hamming it up. He served us drinks at the snap of a thumb, always asking if there was anything he could do, coordinated boat excursions, taxis, buses, grocery list etc. His energy was pretty amazing and he really knew how to make you feel at ease. We're trying to figure out a week next year to return. I'm 54 and go on about 2-3 vacations a year and not many have compared to this.

Amazing 50th Birthday! Amazing villa!

I & my guest had an AMAZING time at the AMAZING villa! I had a total of 13 guest with me to celebrate my 50th birthday! I stayed at the villa for 7 days, it was one of the best vacations to this date! It will be almost impossible to top it! The staff is awesome!!! Upon arriving on Friday Jorge met us at the door and quickly went into motion making us feel at home! He had us leave our bags at the front door and took us on a tour of the villa, it was like going through a museum! Every room kept getting better and better and all of them are amazing! All have gorgeous views of the ocean. After the tour Jorge made us the tastiest Margaritas, made sure we were ok then took all our bags to the designated room for each guest. I arrived a day before my guest to set things up for their arrival. Roger the house manager is sooooooooooooooooooo awesome! He is like your personal butler, assistant, concierge and so much more rolled into one person! Sylvia and Celina are amazing too. Celina cooked the most amazing meals for us for Breakfast and Dinner and it was delicious! The set up is like going to a restaurant but better! with a daily & evening view of the ocean right at your dinner table. Roger helped me arrange massages and pedicures for all my guest for Mother's day, he & Jorge made us Pina Coladas, Margaritas & Daiquiris in the afternoon as well as at dinner. The daiquiris were made with fresh strawberries. They always made a pitcher of non alcoholic as well as alcoholic to accommodate everyone. Celine made fresh homemade salsa & guacamole every afternoon and it was so good a lot of evenings we had request for her to make more before she left! Roger arranged for us to have a boat ride and go snorkeling, that was such a nice personal touch! The snorkeling was so much fun!!! Roger assisted me with ordering my birthday cake and picking it up from Costco ( it was delicious) & I surprised my guest with an 8 person Mariachi band at my birthday dinner that Roger arranged for me! My guest loved loved loved the trip and the VIP treatment they received from the staff!! I even had a large platter of fresh Lobster for my bday dinner. I had the best birthday celebration ever! I will definitely be back to stay here again! I can not leave out Rudy who take care of a lot of items for me before we arrived from Chicago. Simon has the best staff working for him at Casa Azul and undoubtedly the best villa in Puerto Vallarta! If you want an amazing experience stay here!!!!!

We can't wait to return. This felt like paradise. No complaints! Rodger was amazing. He was so kind, fun, compassionate, helpful and accommodating. The entire staff was so fun, welcoming, kind, patient, hospitable. The food was astounding. We ate like Kings and Queens. They were so wonderful at scheduling tours, transportation and over all helping us. ROOMS: Just breath taking views, space, accommodations, cleanliness, comfort. STAFF: Astounding. Rodger is wonderful! FOOD: Delicious! Great for a big group of friends and family. We even hosted our elopement here! If you are interested contact Selma Vazquez +52 322 131 7331. She was amazing and by far the best wedding planner and event planner ever. She was calm, kind, FUN, helpful and really translated our dreams. I would hire her even if it was a family birthday because she took care of everything! We can't wait to come back!

Incredible

I celebrated my 90th birthday at Casa Azul Profundo with 15 kids and grandkids. I believe that all of us agreed that it was one of the greatest weeks in our lives. Kudos to Roger and the staff. They went out of their way to make our stay absolutely perfect. The food was outstanding and the care shown by the staff was amazing. I have informed Roger that we will all be back for my 95th birthday, so Roger, stick around!. Ken

FABULOUS CAS AZUL ! 30 guests had the BEST TIME! The staff was incredible and most accommodating,

Wonderful space and incredible views! We had 30 guests, and there is beautiful social space to come together; and rooms to enjoy your privacy. Roger and staff are welcoming, gracious and ALWAYS there when we needed them; and offering advise on local customs and happenings. Excellent staff, beautiful property and perfect trip

Booking the location was easy and painless, the house staff was amazing and attentive from the food to the drinks...anything we needed. Excellent suggestions on food, travel and events. Our entire group would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a spectacular vacation home!

Perfection in Puerto Vallarta

My teenage daughter decided she wanted us to spend spring break with some of her friends. I suggested we invite their families and set out to find a nice place to spend a week. After finding Casa Azul Profundo and reading the glowing reviews, I booked our week with high hopes. I was not disappointed. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left Roger and his team made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. The house itself is spacious and beautiful, but what makes the place truly special is the attentiveness and skill of the staff. I could not praise Roger, Sylvia and Celina enough. Our group consisted of 12 people, seven adults and five teenagers. This was the group’s first vacation together and the house provided nice communal areas as well as spaced out bedrooms that provided privacy if someone wanted some alone time. Roger jumped in and took care of everything. From coffee in the morning, to transportation into town and back, to bringing in masseuses to handle sore muscles after a zipline trip, to arranging a local boat to take us snorkeling, every “Roger could you” request was answered with a “yes”. I could go on for paragraphs about how great of a chef Sylvia is. We originally had intended on spending dinners at restaurants, but after the first night we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the dinner table at the house and Sylvia’s meals. The only dinner we ate out was when we went to see the Savia (Rhythms of the Night) show that included a dinner. I’m looking forward to returning to Puerto Vallarta and when we do I will certainly make sure we stay at Casa Azul Profundo again.

Perfect Wedding Getaway

Wow- what can I say? This place was everything that was promised. All of the wonderful reviews are indeed true. We used this home for a 6 day wedding getaway with our closest family and friends. Roger and his staff were amazing. Upon arrival, Rodger makes everything very easy. The house is stocked before your arrival with your grocery/beverage requests and grocery shopping is done daily. Roger provides thorough tracking of receipts to make sure you know where all your money is going. Roger even had answers to our most random questions or requests. The cooking was phenomenal. We opted for breakfast and dinner most days, and were never disappointed. Also, Rodger's staff is very good with incorporating leftovers into the next meal to help save money and prevent wasted food. The views are extraordinary and we saw whales from the patio almost daily. It's approx. 10 minutes from the wonderfully quaint public beach. Our group did a number of excursions on the water with local guides, and found everyone we dealt with to be very pleasant. Our group was very impressed with the accommodations, and everyone enjoyed their rooms. We HIGHLY recommend this house for whatever event you're planning. We had a group of 25 adults, and 5 kids. The predictions of it costing around $20-25/person/day we found to be pretty accurate (our group were big fans of the Corona). We felt very safe at this location and felt that the staff really cares that everyone is enjoying their time. We hope to return again in the future!

The entire vacation exceeded our expectations in every way

How do I start to begin to do justice to this experience. Fifteen of us, from 78 to 15, had an amazing time. House was beyond spectacular with huge rooms each with a great view, balcony and/or big terrace. One day we had 5 people getting massages on our terrace at the same time. (Cost was $30.each) All meals were dictated by what we told staff and served at the time we requested. (Some days we needed to sleep late - something about the tequila, I guess.). Food was delicious. One morning we saw two whales as we ate at our outdoor dinning area. Best part of the trip was Roger, the property manager. He knows everything about the area, can arrange taxis, boating, surfing, bungee jumping, etc. He listens and does anything requested in a most friendly and-cordial manner. The entire staff of 4 is equally as accommodating and friendly. By the rime we left we all felt as if we had made new friends, particularity with Roger and Aaron. I cant recommend the entire experience highly enough to do it justice
