Get ready to fall in love with this space all over again! The owner is undertaking a complete bathroom renovation—everything is being updated with modern finishes and thoughtful details. Plus, the exterior is getting a stunning makeover with brand-new siding and a durable roof that's sure to impress.
Two blocks from the beach and boardwalk in the heart of Rehoboth Beach is 55 Philadelphia Street. This well-maintained vacation rental is a spacious garage apartment with two levels, providing ample space for everyone to enjoy. Enter up the stairs to the first level, and you will find two bedrooms, one full bathroom, and the open-concept living area. Here, guests will love all the windows surrounding the living space to maximize the flow of the breeze as it blows down the street from the ocean. Up another flight of stairs, guests will enter the loft area that functions as the third bedroom. There is also an outdoor 12 X 9 bluestone patio for tenants to enjoy. Rental guests at this home can also pack light - the owner provides bikes and beach chairs for use during your stay! They can be found in the garage below this unit. Property has off-street parking for one car, and the owner also provides one on-street parking permit for use at any non-metered parking spots in Rehoboth Beach. Home is cooled with A/C Units.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $173.25.

Bedding- 1 Queen, 1 Single, 2 Doubles

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Great location- property needs work

We were very excited to be back in Rehoboth and to book a great location- we arrived at the property and were very disappointed. We paid over $3,000 for the week and were greeted with overgrown grass and weeds. The outside sitting furniture was old, plastic chairs were cracked and couch cushions were ripped. The inside was as described, (as far as space) but dirty. The living area was spacious but dust on ceiling fans and flat surfaces was a turn off. The one bathroom in the house had moldy grout and crusted dirt in the corners of the floor. We have a large family so I usually try to cook multiple meals at home to save some money- This did not happen as I did not want to use the appliances, utensils etc in the kitchen. We spent more money eating out and staying away from this property- had a great time at the beach nonetheless, but will be happy to be home and clean.

Great Location...But!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon our arrival for a month long stay, we found trash cans overflowing from what appeared to be weeks of trash that had not been moved to the curb for pickup. Flower beds were totally overgrown with weeds encroaching upon the sidewalk. Entryway carpet is tattered and torn. Second floor is barely habitable. Stairs leading to this level are somewhat treacherous. Two weeks into the rental the renter of two window a/c units came and removed them leaving us with inadequate cooling on both floors in the 90+ degree heat. Main living area couch and jumbo round chair are way oversized and I doubt Goodwill would take them. Ground level laundry was filthy. The two vacuums on the ground level were choked with dirt and unusable so we had to purchase our own vacuum. We left it cleaner than how we found it and will not return.

Great location, okay shape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. The place is okay--it's more rough than described. There is open wiring on the stairs going to the second floor. Although I generally expect to bring what is needed to these rentals, there was no dishtowels or paper towels or even a half of a roll of toilet paper when we got there. We will likely not stay there again.

Great Location and Property

The overall property was great. It is a nice location and layout for the family. The natural lighting was nice. Having the on-site washer/dryer is a big plus. Cleanliness was an issue as there was quite a bit of dirt and left over "stuff" from previous folks.

Tight, but clean and cute

Wasn't crazy about the ac window units bit they ended up cooling pretty well. It was quite tight for four adults to share one bathroom. Wish my college girls had a bathroom to share upstairs. The stairs were very steep and treacherous to climb during the night. Ceiling is quite low for a tall person. My husband kept hitting his head. Very convenient location though, and the garage was helpful for storing coolers and chairs and such. Otherwise clean and cute.

Yikes!!!

The apartment was in a great location and the checking-in/out process was easy. However, I do not feel that this property was cleaned prior to my arrival. The bedroom with the air-conditioning had yellow marks on the bed and comforter that smelled like cat pee. The ceilings were very low (the pictures are misleading) and the ceiling fan was hard to avoid. The air-conditioning in the living room barely worked and it made enjoying that space difficult. Lastly, the people staying in the main house kept opening/shutting the garage door which made a very loud sound and shook the apartment. This was not worth the price I paid at all.
