The Space:

Just steps from the sandy beaches and crystal shores of the Gulf of Mexico, the adventure of your dreams awaits at SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL. From the newly-renovated outdoor pool to beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee), and outdoor tiki bar, you’ll find everything you need on the premises! Check out the exercise room, the gift shop in the lobby, and enjoy complimentary DVD rentals at your leisure. Unwind in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, or steam room and capitalize on the over 3,000 s.f. of meeting spaces, perfect for hosting professional or personal functions for a crowd. Should any questions arise, our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk.



SunDestin Unit 0607 is a delightful one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to four. You’ll find everything you need in this lovely sanctuary away from home. Prepare full meals to enjoy in the unit, or assemble snacks for lazy days at the beach in the fully appointed kitchen. With seating for four at the dining table, there’s plenty of room for all!



Enjoy beautiful views from the private balcony or curl up on the queen-sized sofa bed in the living room and catch a game on the flat screen television. At day's end, retire to the master suite, equipped with a king-sized bed, flat screen television, and en suite bath for your convenience.



Hang out on property during your stay, or venture out to enjoy the many activities abundant in this community. Golf, fishing, snorkeling, and boating are prevalent in Destin,FL, and all can be accessed quickly. Book a boat excursion at Destin Boardwalk, five minutes away, or spend a day on one of four unique courses at Sandestin, just a twenty-minute drive from SunDestin Beach Resort!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.



If you’ve never seen the sun set over the gulf, you’re in for a real treat, and you can enjoy it all at SunDestin Beach Resort!



Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, and outdoor pool.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.



These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

yeas and nays of the room

The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable it needs replaced immediately. Didn't appreciate the maintenance man walking in our room while we were still their. He could have waited until we checked out that day to get the chair he needed, which also reminds me ..there should be 2 chairs out on the balcony instead of one. Other than those 2 things we enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again in the near future.

Wonderful location and gorgeous beach. Guest services were always friendly and attentive. The room was just okay. Everything was clean, but the photos need to be updated. None of the furniture/decor was as pictured. The TV would bounce back and forth from pixelated to a clear image occasionally. Overall a good stay, I would stay here again.

Great Stay

The remote to the television does no work, so we could not turn off the television. The refrigerator leaks water onto the shelf. We told the front desk, but they never came to fix it. The condo was great, though, and had an awesome view!

Ok, but not what I expected.

The resort itself had some nice features: nice and clean lobby, free movie rentals, on premise bar/grill, gift/coffee store, and pool. The location and access to the beach was perfect. The condo itself was worn down including lots of gashes in the walls, paint marred up, furniture wore out, electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom (even after resetting GFI), and outlets coming out of the wall in bedroom. The write up on VRBO was also deceitful. I, and others at the beach, thought there were laundry facilities in each individual condo but instead there was one set per floor like a laundromat.

Pleased but have some suggestions

Overall pleased, but I do have a few suggestions. The closet door was broken and needs to be fixed. Also, the biggest complaint is the AC unit being in the bedroom. It is extremely loud and woke my husband and me up every time it turned on during the night. Also, when purchasing our stay at this destination, it was advertised that there was an on-site restaurant and a snack shack outdoor by the beach. Both of these amenities were under renovation and not available to us during our stay and we did not find this out until we arrived for our stay. These amenities were one of the main reasons we chose this destination so we were very disappointed to not have access to them.

Not worth the money

The first night we got locked out of our room twice. Was told maintenance would be there at 9 the next morning to fix it. Had to wait for them. However they did come and fix it. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. The A/C unit was extremely loud. Which is in the bedroom. So when we were sleeping and it would come on it would wake us up including our 2 year old daughter. Went to run the dishwasher and water started to pour out. Luckily it was just the seal. Went and asked for 2 more towels and was told that “we don’t offer day to day towel service and if we wanted more towels then we would have to wash the towels we have”. Then the lady pointed at the quarter machine and said you can get quarters there. Great views horrible condo.

A/c unit needs to be replaced

The extremely loud ac unit needs to be replaced. Constantly woke us up all night. Almost ruined our vacation not getting good sleep.

Nice!!

Great location on the beach with pool and restaurant for food and drinks! Nice little store for convenience if u need anything or some ice!! Room was clean and seems the furniture was updated from a few other comments from others who had stayed before us. Very nice view!! Great location to restaurants in the are. Loved it!

Great Location, Room sufficient

The location of the property right on the beach was perfect. Our view from the balcony was beautiful looking out onto the ocean. The condo supplied everything we needed with the one bedroom, pull-out sofa in living room and double toilets/bathroom sinks/vanities were nice since there were 4 of us. I'm glad we brought a foam topper for the pull out sofa, otherwise it would've been incredibly uncomfortable for our teens to sleep on. It was nice having a restaurant and gift shop on the premises to buy ice, food, sunscreen, etc. The location of the property was great for busy summertime because we were so close to many restaurants and didn't have to sit in much traffic going back and forth.

Expected better quality for the cost.

Location is perfect. Feel like it was very expensive for 1 bedroom but understand that is probably expected for location. Was disappointed with lack of decor & furniture was very poor quality. One chair in the living room we would sink into it upon sitting. There was also a "strange" odor through the condo unit. Had to purchase a plug in air freshener. We have vacationed many times in Destin. This was our first experience with Sundestin condos.

The condo needed some work. There are some outlets that do not work as well as some issues with the air unit. You cannot sleep in the bedroom due to it sounding like a truck starting every time the air kicked on.
