CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITIES NOW OPEN!

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. Amenities remain open and fully available for guest use aside from the splash pad.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. We want to ensure you're informed in advance so you can plan your stay accordingly.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

Parking in the main lot may be limited, especially after hours. Each one- and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

Welcome to the SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays, the premier condominium in the heart of Destin situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! The onsite Scenic Stays team at SunDestin looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. The experience of a lifetime awaits! SunDestin Beach Resort features expansive onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, indoor pool (heated seasonally), indoor and outdoor hot tubs, splash pad (seasonal), steam room, sauna, outdoor tiki bar (open seasonally), workout facility, event/meeting space, gift shop, complimentary DVD rentals and much more!

Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 1018, you are greeted by a fully appointed, well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 8 guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!

Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom or the two twin over double bunk beds in the guest bedroom. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Perfect location, quiet, great view of the beach, close to Walmart and restaurants. The main gentleman running beach service was amazing super friendly and remembered my name which made me feel welcomed. Will definitely return.

Great place and location

We really enjoyed our stay and the condo was perfect for our family. The only negative was the outdoor pool was closed due to construction on the building. I went back and look at the listing and it was in small print at the bottom and wish it would had been more visible as it would have changed our mind in booking this location. All in all it was a great vacation and I would stay at Sundestin in the future after the construction is complete.

Great Stay

The real only complaint I have are the throw pillows on the couch. They’re shedding feathers. We kept picking up feathers from the pillows. Everything else was great.

1018 Review

Condo was nicely updated. Our microwave didn’t work when we got there but maintenance brought us another one. The air in the master bedroom didn’t blow as hard as the rest of the unit but we kept the curtain closed and door shut while we were gone so it would cool off. Maintenance was helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was okay

I would not stay at sun Destin again but I would stay with scenic stays again. If you walked around this condo for 5 minutes without shoes your feet will be black. The elevators are a nightmare and are 110 degrees. You have to wait 15 minutes to get on an elevator (this is not a scenic stays issue, this is a Sun Destin issue) There are hardly any carts to load and unload, so we had to make several trips to load and unload the condo. The hosts were responsive and helpful. I just would not recommend staying at this specific condo or Sun Destin at all. Our stay was nice overall I was just a little disappointed.

Beautiful condo but cracked pourch leaking glue out. Stivers has uneven burner plates that work intermittently. Plugs in kitchen on back wall don't support plug in of appliances, too loose so they won't connect. Owner had too much clutter in cabinets, shelves and closets which leaves little room for renters store anything.

Freezer does not stay shut. Can't sit on porch because of cracks where glue comes up and sticks on top of tiles. Stove coil is crooked so pans won't sit flush and has to be manipulated to work, sometimes does not work. Otherwise, nice condo. Lock on front door gets stuck and difficult to open.

Beautiful condo and very well kept!

This was a beautiful condo and very well kept. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I usually don't sleep good on trips, but the master bed was perfect. Comfortable and firm. The vanity made it comfortable to get ready and was a nice touch to the master bedroom. The end unit was great because we still had a view of the ocean from the balcony but also a street view from the dining area. We did not cook in the kitchen, but it looked stocked with everything you would need and it was not dusty. The only thing this condo needs is ocean toys like boogie boards, sand toys, and beach towels. My family flew into Destin so we had to buy toys and leave them there. In the future I will be looking for beach toys next time in the summary of the condo. Most beach condos we have rented always have things for the kids when it sleeps 4+ so this time I guess I just expected it because its on the beach. Overall this was a great condo for a family! I would book it again!!
