Summary:
Experience New Orleans in this fantastic home just minutes from the French Quarter and Garden District. The house has original hardwood floors, tall ceilings, a full kitchen, and spacious dining and living rooms. Outside, you'll find a brand new heated pool and grill. The space is filled with paintings and photographs from prominent New Orleans artists. 20-CSTR-33596, 20-OSTR-33597

Guest Access:
You'll be able to use the entire space.

The Neighborhood:
The house is centrally located between the French Quarter/Downtown and the Garden District. There are coffee shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance.

Getting Around:
You’ll be a four minute walk from the famous St. Charles Streetcar (which you can take to the French Quarter/ Bourbon Street).

Driving & Walking Times:

Downtown/Warehouse District: 1 minute drive or 5 minute walk

French Quarter: 6 minute drive or 20 minute walk

Garden District: 5 minute drive or 18 minute walk

Other Things to Note:
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (10pm-8am) are strictly enforced.

For the security of our guests, we have external recording devices (security cameras) located by the front door and back door of the house. These are exterior only.

Per City of New Orleans regulations, this property is equipped with a noise monitoring device. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels) . This device also monitors occupancy and cigarette smoke.

Monday and Thursday morning pool cleaning and landscape maintenance: On Monday and Thursday mornings (between 8am-11am) Jose comes to check the chemicals and clean the pool and Lauren comes (every other Thursday) to do landscape maintenance.

Swim at your own risk.

Family getaway

although the house looks small in the pictures, there was more than enough room to have some privacy. the close proximity to the streetcars and bus lines is very nice. I do recommend going to the website for the rta and learning the routes before you get there to make it easier.

This was a great spot to stay with my employees for a work convention. The place was very clean and the bbq place across the street is very good.

Amazing Stay!

This house is super super cute! The pool was clean and my kiddos loved it! It was a super great location! So close to everything. I felt safe in the area! New Orleans was super fun. Lots of stuff to do as well as quick day trips near by. Thank you!

NOLA trip

The property is amazing. The pool was probably the best part and the most enjoyable experience of the trip. The BBQ restaurant across the street is absolutely amazing highly recommend. Little far away for walking but Uber and public transit were easy and close by.

Beautiful home great for a group trip

The space is awesome had everything we needed, the pool is beautiful and the fenced in back area is great for hanging out. Was fine to walk around the area during the day with a group but at night felt safer with Uber. Otherwise was perfect!

Nice place good host communication

The place is nice and conveniently located to everything you would want to see while visiting NOLA. We felt fairly safe in the area but I would use caution if walking anywhere outside of the home after dark. We walked to/from the trolley a few times after dark which was a few blocks away with no issues. The neighborhoods to the west of the home were very nice and quaint. Lots of great restaurants that aren’t in the downtown touristy areas.

Great Place!

We had a wonderful girls week! We were easily able to drive to the Hop on Hop off, stop 5, park and tour the city. You will be located between the Garden District and the French Quarter - not really a walkable distance. The location was quiet and secure. The pool was fabulous!

Family celebration

The property itself is great: the space is roomy and comfortable and very well appointed. The pool and backyard is fantastic. There was plenty of very comfortable space for our party of 8. The neighborhood is noteworthy. Guests should be keenly aware that it is not someplace you can travel to / from on foot after dark.

Perfect spot

Plenty room, comfortable setting, super soft beds. Host are great with communication. Only downside is It’s a 4 bedroom with only 1 tv in living area. We brought our own and a projector so it worked out and the pool description is a little misleading, it doesn’t actually feel heated. Pool is perfect in size though for small kids. Would recommend!!

Great girls trip

We stayed there for a girls trip to celebrate a 40th birthday. We had a great time. The house was close to everything we needed and had a lot of space. It was clean and designed well. The beds were comfortable…which is often a rarity with rentals. We were worried about the safety of the area but we didn’t have any issues. Only recommendations for the owners: put a mirror in each of the bedrooms - with 6 women getting ready, we were fighting for mirrors :)

Four old buddies watching football!

We planned the trip for 4 old buddies to get together and drink some beers. New Orleans was a good place for that. The house was as advertised, clean, comfortable and near all the attractions. The neighborhood was just ok, and might not be appropriate for different configurations of travelers. The bbq restaurant across was great and Ubers were easy to grab. Over all our experience was good and the home met our expectations. We didn’t use the pool because it was chilly.

40th Birthday in New Orleans

This property was wonderful. Four of us (adults) came on the trip, and we were each able to have our own room. There was a fully functional kitchen with a washer and dryer. The private pool area was very nice. We enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the pool to keep cool in the hot weather. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We parked on the street in front of the house without issues. The home was gated and the front door had a keypad to allow entry. This was a wonderful home away from home, and I am so glad we stayed here.

Great Stay in Nola

A group of friends and I stayed here and had an amazing visit. Really prompt responses to messaging, easy check in and check out. We spent most of our time in and near the french quarter so the location worked well for us. It's not the prettiest neighborhood but it's also not unsafe either, even if it looks that way. FANTASTIC bbq restaurant literally right across the street. Would def recommend that spot. The pool in the backyard was a nice aesthetic touch. It's a bit chilly to dip in during the winter even though it's heated. It's 86 year round which is a bit chilly when the weather dips to low 60s. We had a blast overall and would rent again.

Birthday Celebration

The warnings from the Lyft drivers were unfortunately the first impression. Also find the United Cab to be a lot less expensive to get around. It is close to everything but you do not want to walk from there except to get some BBQ and a nice drink at the BBQ place directly across the street. Property was clean, comfortable and secure. Cameras all around. Fully equipped with washer and dryer. Dining area, games and TV. Neighbors were quite loud but have a white noise app that drowned them out mostly. It was a great trip all around.

Lovely house

This property is very inviting with everything you need for a great relaxing place to put your head after a busy day around New Orleans. The bedrooms, kitchen, laundry and bathrooms are very well equipped. The shampoos and body wash are luxurious and the beds very comfortable! Plenty of pool towels. The heated pool is in a very private charming backyard. The home is located in a quiet more industrial area without many other homes nearby, however a very close walk to the French Quarter. The house felt safe with the added protection of a locked metal gate around the property. The BBQ Restaurant across the street was a nice bonus. Thank you so much for a very lovely stay in your home. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed!

House was not in a great neighborhood. Regularly assaulted verbally by homeless and once physically threatened. House looked like a quick flip. Hangers in bathroom were ripped off. Sink faucet improperly installed. Dishwasher wasn't fully installed correctly. New floor was installed properly and over unsupported floor in many areas. "Heated" pool was truly a heated pool. Paid way too much for what we got

Fantastic House + Convenient Location

The location was perfect, near all the NOLA attractions. Manager was thoughtful and easy to communicate with during the entire stay. The pool was the perfect addition, especially in the crazy humidity. We recommend this house to any groups that need ample space and convenient access to the nearby attractions.
