This family-friendly condo offers a welcoming space with two bedrooms and a large living area, perfect for creating memorable family moments!
This clean and well-maintained condo is also value-priced for families on a budget.

Ohana Paradise Hale at Maui Sands has two comfortable bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and the other with two twin beds. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans to keep the cool evening breezes moving. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living area, with an overhead fan for comfort. One of the best things about being this close to the ocean is being able to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean waves!

*Living Room - This is a spacious, open concept area with ample seating for everyone! It has a split AC with separate AC controls in the living area and each bedroom. There is a 50" smart TV and ample wifi for working from "home"

*Kitchen - The kitchen is beautifully refurbished with cherry cabinets and granite tile. It is fully loaded to cook a holiday meal or provide snacks throughout the day. There is seating at the island, the dining area, and on the lanai for meals and enjoying the view.

*Bathroom - This bathroom has a large step-in shower. We provide ample, clean, fluffy towels for up to 6 guests. This condo has hot water on demand, very convenient for larger families and groups!

*Bedrooms - There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with 2 twins. There is also a pullout couch located in the living area. We provide plenty of both closet and drawer space for guests' use.
The split AC system has individual units in the bedrooms and the living room, each with its own control.

*Lanai - The expansive lanai offers breathtaking ocean and garden views, providing a peaceful setting to enjoy scenic sunsets and unwind in comfort.

Please note that this is a second-floor unit in a 2-story building. If you are booking with children, we require "indoor feet" from all our guests, regardless of age. :)

Wonderful condo! I love the low-rise, vintage, island vibe. We would happily stay here again in the future. The property is conveniently located and close to ABC store, restaurants, food trucks and grocery and others. The AC in bedrooms was so welcomed. Property grounds are beautiful. Parking was easy. The pool was nice! Overall 10/10. Mahalo!

Quiet location. Since all beaches are public, it worked well for us to have a cheaper rental and to drive to a local Beach with easy parking. The snorkeling was amazing!

Great condo!

Great location, Maui Sands doesn’t look like much from the road but is a lovely, quiet condo. Well-stocked unit, we really enjoyed pur stay here.

Loved our time here!

This condo is great for families with young kids. We were comfortable and happy here during our 12 day stay. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a hotel or resort, but it’s a great value! The other guests and residents were friendly and respectful. We will likely stay here again and will recommend to others who want a quiet cozy experience.

Wonderful stay

The property was delightful. The condo was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Nice to be staying on a property with only 2 story buildings with fairly extensive grass areas. Pool area had an ice machine which was great for loading up the ice chest for a day at the beach. Easy driving or walking to multiple excellent kid friendly beaches. One of the best cinnamon roll places just down the block: Papi’s Ohana. We had 2 units for our family. Grocery store is close as well: you don’t have to drive to Safeway in Lahaina.

For the most part I enjoyed the condo. The reserved parking spot is far away from the actual unit and the place wasn’t super clean. You can hear the ocean from the bedrooms and lots of fun stuff and beaches nearby.

Amazing property with everything you need

This property was outstanding for myself and my parents. It is very spacious, feels very homey with all the essentials for cooking at home, in a quiet complex right next to the ocean. Also very conveniently located to many restaurants, beaches, stores, and places of interest in western Maui. I recommend bringing quarters if you plan to do laundry in the complex’s laundromat. The host is also very responsive. Highly recommend this home!

Great for friends gathering

Pretty grounds with easy access to ocean for swimming. Wonderful little grocery store across the street. Kitchen has everything you need, including a large island for food prep and organizing things. Very spacious living and dining room. There were three of us and we didn’t feel cramped at all. BBQ on property worked great. It rained a lot and we appreciated having a nice place to hang out. The deck is mostly protected from the rain. Incredible deal for the price.

Great Stay

Condo was just as pictured and expected. Great location. Fully stocked and equipped, and we appreciated having the portable crib and high chair for our baby. Some things to note: - Parking is only convenient for one vehicle, as they give you an assigned stall. Street parking in this neighborhood is tough. - The beach directly outside the condo is pretty much non-existent, however there is a nice beach area and park just a couple minute walk down the road. - No a/c in the bedrooms, only 1 window-unit in the living room. No complaints and we enjoyed our stay. We checked out in a rush as our baby was sick and had to be taken to urgent care (she recovered quickly thank goodness), and I left her baby blanket in the condo. Our host was so kind to meet me at our new place we were staying in Kihei and return that precious item. First class service!

Great place

Very happy with our stay. The location was great. There's a small, beautiful beach adjacent to the property for quick swims and sunset watching. Also, it was just a short drive to Napili beach and other great snorkeling spots. Also close to stores and food markets, and the ABC store (which has everything). There is a nightly food truck area just a few blocks away (and walkable) for dinner. The place itself is simple and clean. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. And there are good small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, blender). Also, the porch has a well-stocked bin full of beach-going items (boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles for swimming, etc.). The bed in the main bedroom was a little small (looked like Full), so beware of that. The A/C worked well in the living room, but it took a bit of time for the cold air to get to bedrooms. (It was pretty hot when we were there.) Keeping the windows slats open (with the A/C off) is essential to normalizing the temp throughout. Overall - really enjoyed it and recommend.

Maui 2022

We felt completely at home on the property. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was large and comfy. We had a slow drain initially and Heather responded quickly and had it fixed the next morning. We were able to snorkel right in front of the property and saw fish and turtles Overall we had a fantastic time! We would recommend this property to anyone going to Maui who wants to stay near Lahaina.

Great place for a family!

My family stayed here for 10 days and had a great time! Location is perfect. There is a playground and beach close by and a fish market across the street. The condo has everything you need.

Well equipped , but construction was noisy .

Well equipped and good location. Our host responded quickly.Negatives was construction on sea wall was noisy and impaired on the 8view, I understand this will be ongoing until August. Still always enjoy Maui .

Fantastic condo highly recommend

We arrived early and needed a late checkout, even changed our dates once. They were very accommodating. The condo was great, the island was unbelievable. Loved the food trucks down the road and close to amazing beaches. We went in the water right outside the unit as well. There were 6 of us and we were a little short on towels but everything else was there. Sand toys and boogie boards, snorkel gear and water shoes, even shampoo. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We are from Elk Grove, CA. We purchased our condo in 2013. Of all the Hawaiian islands we have visited, Maui has always been our favorite. We travel often, but make our Maui home a regular destination. We love the closeness of the ocean for great snorkeling. The friendliness of the neighbors and the neighborhood is important to us!

We are both retired and have made frequent trips to Hawaii and decided it was time to have our own little paradise on Maui. We stayed at the Maui Sands and love the location and like the 'Old Hawaii Style' beachfront resort.Maui Sands is beloved for it's relaxed and vintage atmosphere!

この宿泊施設の特徴

Maui Sands is a lovely property with a vintage Hawaiian feel. We have beautiful grounds with mango, banana, and a myriad of tropical plants and flowers blooming. The property is low-density, with 52 units on a little over 3 acres and shared pool, BBQs, and laundry.

The real gem of the property is the Pacific Ocean View. We sit on a stretch of west-facing oceanfront with the Island of Lana'i just to the south, and Moloka'i across the Au'au channel, for one of the more spectacular sunset views on the island of Maui. We see a parade of turtles lunching on the seaweed at the volcanic reef daily. From mid-November to mid-April, humpback whales migrate to Hawaii to mate and calve. They love hanging out in the channel, and we see them throughout the day during whale-watching season!

Our shore has three volcanic reefs running parallel to the shoreline, providing a mini snorkeling/swimming channel 4-7' deep, perfect for viewing our parade of turtles up close! The inside of the 1st reef is perfect for kids to build sandcastles at low tide to mid-tide and play in the water, as the reefs protect our narrow stretch of sand from the rougher high-tide surf.

Just a short 3-minute walk north is Honokowai Beach Park with a playground and west-facing beach, or south to Honua Kai Park and a stunning 3-mile stretch to Whalers Village and Black Rock. Book now to enjoy these prime locations!
