Escape to the heart of the Pacific Northwest at River Run Lodge, a handcrafted 2-story log cabin just 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Area and Mount Rainier National Park. Surrounded by evergreens and complete with modern comforts, this spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath retreat is ideal for families, couples, or small groups seeking both adventure and tranquility.

Step inside to warm wood interiors, vaulted ceilings, and natural light pouring through large windows. The freestanding gas fireplace and cozy furnishings set the tone for mountain relaxation, while a fully equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi offer all the comforts of home.

Super cozy cabin equipped with everything you need for a good stay! Would love to visit again! My only comment is some of the instructions in the book seem a little outdated, but otherwise it was a pleasure to stay here!!!

This was such a cute cabin rental for a friends weekend. The kitchen is so well stocked, the rooms are very well set up and plenty of linens. We loved the hot tub and the walk down to the river. The cozy cabin lighting and fire place was great. There’s even a great selection of old movie classics!

Good Vibes Only

I wish I was there right now, this place felt like a home not even a rental stay. There was everything in and around it that you need! My children loved being outdoors our entire stay, the walk down to see the river. We actually caught small crawfish at night! It was awesome!—it’s a two in one but it felt like more than what it has to offer!!! We even got to see elks strolling through town. Very nice cabin. Highly highly recommend.

Christmas at the cabin

My family and I spent our holiday at the cabin! We had a very memorable time. Clean cabin, fully loaded kitchen will all the items you could possibly need and more. Great location! We would definitely visit again!

Perfect cabin for mountain gateway

Our family of 6 stayed a few days in this well furnished cabin to enjoy some mountain and ski time before Christmas and had a wonderful stay. Kitchen is fully accessorized and beds comfy with warm blankets. We enjoyed the living room stove and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Saving listing for future stays!

A few friends and myself were wanting to get a cabin for a weekend for some time now. We found this one and it was great. Very clean and great location. Communication with the host was easy. Absolutely recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a weekend trip!

Great Mount Rainier Location

River Run Lodge was great. Perfect spot for day hiking trips into Mt. Rainier NP. Just a few miles from Packwood. Quiet back deck for evening libations. Loved the old school stereo with turntable and albums too!

The Perfect Birthday Getaway

We chose to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday at this TMC Property because it was the perfect distance between being remote and local, with all of the perfect amenities. All of our friends that stayed with us loved the property and want to come back at some point! The Stargazer unit was a perfect "apartment" to ourselves, with its own kitchenette and full bath. We were able to go to bed each night picking out constellations and watching satellites dance overhead. One friend brought along their dog, and reported that the area was very dog friendly! We opted to bring our own chef knives, cutting boards, and pans – as we were unsure what to expect in the kitchen. I'm pleased to say that we overpacked, and both kitchens are very well stocked. Preparing food on the grill all weekend was a delight. The hot tub was a real treat after a day at the river. We utilized it two nights of our three night stay, and it worked wonders to prepare us for the next day's adventures! In regards to internet, the property is well equipped! With 1Gig download speeds, you should have no connectivity issues! Mobile connectivity was spotty. We could occasionally get LTE/5G in front of the driveway, or at the river, but it was quite unreliable, and therefore should be a consideration. Overall, we couldn't be happier, and thank you TMC for providing an incredible property to host the perfect birthday weekend.

great location, cabin in the timber

Great for four couples 60 years of age, close to Rainer, Baker and Mount St. Hellens. We saw them all in a four day stretch. The Packwood Market has anything you need to enjoy your stay, the Cabin is over the top nice with all you need to prepare family style meals. Do bring bug spray and keep the screen door closed on the deck. Weave already decided to come back next year.

Very clean and beautiful house.

Property was extremely clean upon arrival. No issues with check in. Beautiful and well decorated house. Location is great for visiting the national park. Only improvement I would make is adding some retractable shades to the star gazer window.

Fantastic stay

House is amazing. The record player is an absolute treat. Spent a fabulous weekend with closest friends relaxing and listening to good tunes. Put your phones away and soak in the scenery.
