Sweet Carolina Cottage has million dollar views and sweet secluded serenity at the edge of Shallotte Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean! You are literally on the edge of America at this breathtaking beach escape!

Traditional Ocean Isle Beach Cottage

Enjoy spectacular million dollar ocean, inlet, and island views from the front deck! Clear views of Holden Beach and Oak Island across Shallotte Inlet, too! Close enough to the ocean to throw a football into the surf at high tide. Sweet Carolina Cottage is a well kept, older beach cottage that enjoys the same unobstructed views as an oceanfront home. There is a street in front of the house, dunes, sandbags, and then the beach! Beach access is a hop, skip, and a jump out the front door and down to the Columbia Street public access!

If you are looking for modern and/or the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, this is not it! This cottage is the 5th house from the east end of the island on a dead-end street. Not much traffic. Great for walking, running, biking, fishing, sunning, and relaxing! Something to do for everyone! Although it is secluded and relaxing you will find all of the amenities right at your fingertips! Shopping and restaurants are just minutes away and there is a awesome homemade ice creamery just down the street, as well as play ground for the kids!

Wonderful location and clean, comfortable property with all the basics you need for a relaxing stay at the beach! The view is truly special, and the area at the end of the island is quiet and makes you feel like you are getting away from it all. Highly recommend!

Wonderful view of the Ocean great to sit with a coffee and just enjoy. House was a good set up for a family and very quiet loved it!! Awesome very short walk to Beach!! We had a great time!! Thank you!! Hahn family

A great house and host! We had an issue with a toilet just running throughout our stay. I messaged the host and they had a company come out to fix it within an hour. The Mannings House is lovely and had everything we wanted for our stay for the week. Hopefully it will be available again whenever we come back to OIB!

Overall, our stay was just okay. I'm not sure housekeeping/cleaners were in the house before we arrived. Counters were dirty, floors were dirty, the couch was covered in sand, the upstairs room was covered in sand, and the walls were covered in dust/lint. The towels hanging in the kitchen were stained and dirty. Pillows were stained. Bathroom rug was dirty. I did laundry, swept the floors, and wiped everything down as soon as we got there. The price was appropriate for the condition of the home. The location was great, but would probably not stay again. I would pay more for cleanliness.

I loved this property! It was like you were ocean front! Literal steps away from the beach. It was quiet and not a lot of traffic since it was a dead end road!
