Clean and Bright Indian River Intracoastal Home Near New Smyrna Beach
Redfish Retreat is a clean, bright and beautiful intracoastal home with to two community pools, huge dock with pier and private boat launch. All within a short walk from our retreat. Located in Terra Mar Village, this manufactured home has all the access needed to the intracoastal and is only 11 minutes from New Smyrna Beach's famous drive-on beach. Just minutes down the river is world renowned Mosquito Lagoon, considered to be the redfish capitol of the world. Relax in true old Florida style!
This is a quaint two bedroom, two bath home with a master ensuite and lots of fun, coastal art. Enjoy tons of natural light in this cheery, airy retreat with open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. Relax on one of the leather sofas or the comfy recliner in front of the new 70 inch TV or on the screened in porch and let our sleepy fishing village melt the stress of bustling life away. Grill in the covered carport or cook in our well stocked kitchen to enjoy a meal at home or venture out to one of nearby waterfront eateries and watch for the dolphins playing in the river. Take a short walk to the village canal to enjoy seeing the manatees resting in the calm water. The pool and pier are just steps from the home to enjoy water play or fishing and the boat launch is available to use for a day of boating. If you choose to bring your boat, you may park it in our carport.

Master bedroom has a queen bed, 50 inch TV with DVD player, and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower.
Guest bedroom has two twin beds
Guest bathroom has a shower / tub combo
Kitchen has lots of nice, matching glasses and stemware, ample cooking supplies, electric stove and oven, clean refrigerator with an ice maker, fresh dish towels, and cleaning supplies. We do not have a dishwasher.
Laundry room is just off the kitchen and has a washer and a dryer
We offer free wi-ifi and use of all of our streaming apps and video library
Large screened in porch with table and chairs, lot of lounging options, colorful plants, and fresh salty breezes.
We have great central heat and air.
We offer a kayak for your complimentary use, beach towels, and a cooler

Hi! I'm Marlo. I've recently moved to Florida from California to be closer to family. My mother in law has a home in Terra Mar and we have been coming here for years. I've always enjoyed the Indian River and all of the natural beauty I find here. Each day, I see dolphins playing in the river, egrets hunting for fish, osprey flying overhead, manatees feeding in the canal near the house, and more. When I had the opportunity to buy my place in Terra Mar, I knew I had to jump on it and I can''t wait to share it with you!

This is a very clean and bright home. This is our newest vacation rental so we don't yet have any reviews. We invite you to read our other property reviews to get guest feedback. We love what we do and we truly enjoy our guests. We make a concerted effort offer you nice linens and towels, a well stocked kitchen, clean and tidy spaces, and outstanding customer service.
Edgewater is a small little town but has everything you will need to enjoy some peace away from the hustle bustle of larger resort towns. Nearby the house is a very nice Publix grocery store, plenty of dining options, gas stations, banks, etc. If you are looking for a wonderful beach, New Smyrna is just 11 minutes away! The Indian River is a salt water intracoastal waterway and offers beautiful views.
Many guests enjoy visiting the nearby (40 miles) Kennedy Space Center to learn about NASA and from the dawn of space exploration to current and ongoing missions, you can get an up-close, hands-on feel for the story of humans in space. The beaches on our barrier island offer prime viewing of NASA launches. Eager spectators set up their beach chairs along the shoreline and wait in anticipation as rockets blast off from Kennedy Space Center. Some of the best spots are on the south side of New Smyrna Beach, like Canaveral National Seashore. This park, which costs $10 per vehicle, fills quickly on launch days. Another favorite site is Bethune Beach, located at 6656 S. Atlantic Avenue. With free parking and easy access to restrooms, this locale is very family-friendly.
