Floor-to-ceiling windows and a private, shaded balcony showcase a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico at Romar Tower 9D.


This gulf-front condo is a bright and welcoming space where you'll find central air conditioning, free WiFi to keep you connected to loved ones back home, and a private washer/dryer to refresh your swimsuits at the end of each beach day. Take your meals al fresco on the balcony overlooking the beach, and enjoy an interior with a full kitchen, a separate dining area, and TVs in the living room and all of the bedrooms.


Romar Tower is a gulf-front property on the shores of Orange Beach, with grounds that include an outdoor swimming pool, a sundeck, and a designated dune walkover leading to the beach. You'll be less than a mile down the road from Adventure Island, two miles east of the Gulf State Park Pavilion, and two miles west of the center of Orange Beach and its many restaurants, bars, markets, and conveniences.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Last minute getaway

My family and I own and run our own business. When we had a short break in work, we decided to book a quick get away trip to rest and recoup from weeks of non stop work. We found this affordable condo… arrived easily. But after checking learned that we needed a gate code to the beach that I couldn’t find anywhere. Thankfully a nice neighbor shared their code with us to gain access. The next day when leaving for lunch we noticed a violation on our car stating we didn’t have a parking pass. Attempted to contact the host with no response… we got a call the day prior to our departure stating a parking pass would be being dropped off soon. The location was convenient. The beach was amazing. We will be back, but will find another location near to stay at. Unit had lots of potential if communication was better.

The home was spacious with a beautiful view of the gulf. It is centrally located and close to everything! There were a few issues with the dishwasher and dryer vent hose. The kitchen was missing pot holders, dish towels, and dish rags. This was an issue since we used the oven and had to wash/dry our own dishes.

Great Experience

Great Unit

My family and I absolutely loved this unit! Everything was very clean, up to date, the beds were great and everything worked great. The unit provided everything that we needed. The location was perfect. We enjoyed hanging out at the Beach everyday. Perfect place for a family. Not crowded, very peaceful. Definitely plan on staying again!

Loved the size, cleanliness, balcony and corner unit! Improvements needed: light bulbs needed in guest bathroom, towels were very rough, sink in guest bathroom does not drain properly, need some hangers in the closet, luggage racks would be nice to have and in general it needs updating and new furniture. Great location, if you ever decide to sell please let us know!!!

As advertised but disappointing

This property needs lots of updating...very dated: no overhead lights, randomly non-working outlets, 90s decor. There was no information left out (code to get out to the beach, checkout instructions, etc). And though it was not advertised that there were any beach accessories (towels, basic sand toys, etc), I was nonetheless disappointed to find none. Based on every other experience I've had booking condos on the beach, I thought it was a given that there would be at least beach towels for use while on the property. Finally, I've got no problem with construction...it has to be done. But it would've been nice to know that I was booking property under intense construction, that started each morning before 8am right outside our door. The construction crew was extremely courteous, so kudos to them for being gracious as we interrupted their work every time we left our place.

Wi-Fi didn’t work for three days.. Dryer didn’t work, found two roaches

Wi-Fi didn’t work for three days, I had to call the people to come fix it. Dryer didn’t work. Someone came and looked at it and was there for a minute and left. I had to go to the laundromat several times. Found a live roach in the master bedroom with the view of the ocean and a dead one in the living room. I have to say though the view was awesome from the balcony.

Family funeral

The condo was a great size. The location was also great. The best thing about the condo was the balcony and view. It was an older building with older decor. Kitchen needs a good coffee pot. Maybe a Keurig?? The floors were Sandy when we got there so not sure about the cleanliness. The beds are comfortable and clean. Overall not bad.

They property was clean but had a musty smell. The water in the toilet was running. Had to call to get it fixed. Washer didn’t work. Called for repair. No one ever contacted us to fix it. No one ever called me back.
