This condo was top notch. It had everything you can imagine to make your stay easy and peaceful. Very clean and everything is up to date. Beds sleep great and had all the amenities. Only complaint is that during the summer months AC would be helpful. It was just too warm and sticky for me inside.

Perfect Location

Everything was great! Location, size, comfortable, etc. the only thing to note is the hot water may not get as hot as you’d like at certain times of day, and they could leave more coffee or k-cups. Other than those minor details, it’s a great place to stay, lots of eclectic and charming details, and they leave a fresh kit of toiletries! Truly a ski-in/ski-out!

Spring Break Ski Trip

Great location, right next to a lift and the main area of Purg. Could sit outside and watch the kids go up the lift. Everything was great, tv's, kitchen, beds, all great. Only item was there was hardly any toilet paper and we had to drive almost to Durango to get some!

I apologize if the housekeeping crew forgot to leave the appropriate amount. We're happy to bring more to you if the starter supplies was missing. They also sell TP at the gas station a mile down the road :) It was such a pleasure to host you for spring break! We hope you come stay with us again soon!

nice place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location to visit Durango and Silverton. Easy check in/out, nicely furnished, everything worked perfectly except for the drain plug in the bathtub but that was easily worked around. Heated tile floors in master bath and electric window blinds were a nice touch

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! It sounds like the location was just right for exploring Durango and Silverton, and it's always a relief when check-in and check-out are a breeze. I’m happy that everything was nicely furnished and mostly worked perfectly—those little things, like the heated tile floors and electric window blinds, really do make a stay feel more special. Even with the minor issue with the bathtub drain plug, it’s great that it didn't affect your experience much. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I'm grateful to hear that it was a memorable stay for you - we'd love to have you back! -Mackey

Home Away From Home

We enjoyed our stay! So many thoughtful touches to make us comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed: all like new. Coffee maker for drip and K cups (Plenty of filters in stock at time of review). Everything modern, new, and clean…even iPhone-apple watch chargers bedside. checkout process was relatively simple job of gathering trash and throwing towels in washer. Mid-July trip so the condo complex was quiet with windows open. Great location between Durango and Silverton.

Great place on the slopes!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent communication with the Vacation Rental Collective team. A few issues with the unit, but we would definitely stay there again. Very clean, very convenient. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Only thing we found to be missing was a cutting board, and maybe some plastic glassware to take down to enjoy apres ski.The master bed was comfortable; however the twins in the second bedroom were very firm. A few issues with windows and doors not working, but otherwise, everything was great. We had a very enjoyable experience, overall comfortable for a group of four and the location can't be beat. VRC was ON IT in responding to each and every request. Outstanding customer service.

Christmas Trip 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 3 stayed in the family-fun decorated Eolus 326 for a 6-night trip to Purgatory over the Christmas break. The room was perfect for us. Everything was clean, new, and high-tech. The master bedroom had a king sleep number bed, allowing the head and foot of the bed to raise and lower. The guest bedroom had two twin beds, which were quite firm. Both the master and the guest bedroom closets had shelving and drawers built in to organize belongings for our long stay. Washer, dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher were brand new. Kitchen featured a coffee maker/keurig combo appliance. Blinds in all areas had automatic wall controls for opening and tilting for appropriate view outside. New, large flat screen TVs were mounted in living room, and both bedrooms, along with nice bedside lamps. Living room TV accommodated for internet, streaming services login, and gaming console connection, allowing for some pretty entertaining evenings. Gas fireplace in living room provided ambiance and no-hassle lighting and heat. Very comfortable living room with single recliners and reclining ends of sofa. Entry and exit were seamless for both front and patio doors, as a keypad with code gave access from either entry point. Beautiful views from living room. Our stay was perfect for our nearly week-long visit to Purgatory. Best condo we have rented from VRC over the last 8 years we've been visiting Purg Resort!

Looks aren’t everything

This place looks great from the pictures and they are accurate, however there were internal plumbing issues with this place. Let me first say, the property manager, VRC was responsive and tried to help the situation. I began as soon as we walked in the door we were hit with a rancid smell and the TV on, which was weird and made us thing someone else was in the place. We soon discovered the smell was coming from the kitchen sink and it would back up. We notified VRC and they put in a work order to have someone come check it out. Because it was already 7pm at the time of this discussion we decided to tough it out with the smell for the night. At 10am the next morning a sub-contracted maintenance person came and quickly discovered it was an issue beyond the kitchen sink and was not something he had the tools or authorization to attempt to fix. VRC then notified us that it was a deeper plumbing issue beyond their control and had to contact the HOA of the condo complex. The HOA maintenance person arrived and their answer was to pour a jug of drano down the sink and that RotoRooter was scheduled to come the next day, the day we were checking out. We were now left with a non-functioning kitchen, which was one of the reasons we booked this place, so we could cook our meals and avoid the expense of eating out. We also were not confident in using the washing machine or the dishwasher. We were concerned they would cause further plumbing backup and possibly flood …

Winter Break

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The mountain was perfect. Could have used a few more food choices in the area but Durango was not too far. The condo was super nice! Kitchen did have one drawer broken off that could easily be fixed. Beds in 2nd bedroom were HARD! The then master bed was one of those temperpedic beds and had a split down the middle, which if you're anything like me and a snuggler it made it IMPOSSIBLE to do. Location to the lifts was perfect and I did love the little heated room to keep our boots and ski stuff in. +---

Comfortable & convenient

Location next to the Ski School and Lift 4 made it easy to get going in the morning and be one of the earlybirds on the mountain. The unit was very clean and recently updated. Lots of modern amenities we enjoyed. The fully stocked kitchen (equipment, not food) was great due to the minimal restaurant options with COVID spiking. Would definitely stay here again.
