Escape to Paradise: Cozy Haven in Key Largo

Located in the heart of Key Largo near MM100. This 2 bedroom / 2 bath townhome is located in a gated community (Kawama Yacht Club) with 24 hr security.

Kawama is a 24 acre complex surrounded by John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, known for some of the best Scuba diving, and snorkeling in all the keys.

The property amenities include 2 heated swimming pools, a saltwater lagoon, playground, tennis and pickle ball courts, outdoor grill areas and fire pits by the ocean. Guest can fish at the jetty or just relax at the beach.
This Cove at Kawama is conveniently located directly in front of the North pool and the salt water lagoon beach.

Our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom townhouse has a full kitchen and space for guest to relax after a long day in the sun.
First floor has a small full bathroom, large front porch, and a screened in back patio.

The second floor has two bedrooms (Bedroom 1- queen bed 2nd bedroom, bunk bed Full size bed, and a trundle). These bedrooms share a full bathroom.

Plenty of great restaurants are within walking distance.

Boating: If you plan to bring your private vessel you will need to have $300,000 Liability Insurance and show proof upon entrance to the security guard.

We really liked it here. Lagoon was fun for kids and the provided kayaks were super nice to have. Good location for everything we wanted to do off property as well. Was not very crowded this week and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

Great Condo in Kawama

Classy beach condo perfect for a family of 5. Really well done on the inside and stocked with everything you would need to cook or get cleaned up. Nice location by the pool and lagoon. Owner kept it simple without a bunch of rules or cleanup needs at the end, I appreciated being treated like a paying guest. Would definitely stay in this one again.

Fun spot in key largo!

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and updated home. The kids enjoyed playing in the lagoon and the pools. We went to the jetty for sunset. Great location with plenty to do in the area. Close to restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked. Would stay again!

Perfect!

Great location for exploring the upper Keys. Lovely resort with lots to do. Unit was well appointed with everything we needed for our short stay. Beds were comfy, bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. Will look forward to staying there again if we find ourselves in Key Largo.

Perfect for our family

This was a great spot for our family. Teenage boys loved the pool and lagoon where they snorkeled with lots of fish. Our first time to the keys and didn’t know where to stay and didn’t want to be too far from Miami airport. Key Largo was a great location for us to “key hop” or stay out. Great restaurants very nearby: Key Largo Fisheries, Harriet’s, Hobo’s. There are swankier places to stay but this had all we needed for a chill stay.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time here! Our kids enjoyed snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking the lagoon The views from the jetty were great, especially for sunrise and sunset. The pool was so convenient right outside the door. The owners were prompt at responding to any questions I had. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely return! Thanks for sharing such a fun place!

Key Largo trip with Teen

We took a quick trip with our teen and stayed at The Cove. The residence was very well kept, clean, and had all we needed for pur stay. My teen enjoyed kayaking in the lagoon and bike rides to the endge of the ocean. Host was very communicative and arriving and leaving the home was seamless. Lots of great places to eat and close to snorkle to see the coral reefs and Christ of the Abyss.

Perfect Keys Getaway

The unit was very clean and comfortable for our family. The unit also had kayaks that we enjoyed using in the lagoon and ocean. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to my messages. We enjoyed our time in this unit so much that we already booked our next stay for summer vacation! We can’t wait to go back. Relaxing Vacay!

This townhome was not only cute, but very efficient, clean and relaxing. It is a few steps to the pool and lagoon. It also had kayaks to use in the lagoon. A cure front porch and back porch. One important thing to us was the bed. It was great!! The host was quick to respond to my emails as this was my first time getting a VRBO. I will be staying there again!

Family trip

Exactly as described. Had tp, papertowels, d/w detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner and body wash, and keurig. Quiet neighborhood. Everything clean and easy to find. Fish were neat in saltwater lagoon. Lights flickered randomly. Beach area was not a true beach that you could get in and swim but was pretty. We left a fishing pole and card games for other guests to enjoy. Pilot house was very nummyseveral times.
