11 pools. Private beach access. Park at your front door — no elevators, no luggage carts, no waiting.
Our 2-bedroom townhouse inside Gulf Highlands Beach Resort sleeps 6: king bed in the master, two queens in the second room. The beach and the beachfront pool are a 3-minute walk. Gulf Highlands is a gated resort with security on the grounds — quiet streets where kids can roam freely. Beachfront dining at The Cajun Chicks is a 3-minute walk from your front door.
The Space:
The master bedroom has a king bed and its own Smart TV. The second bedroom has two queen beds and a Smart TV — perfect for kids, a second couple, or the friends who always end up on the trip. The living room has a comfortable couch with plenty of space to unwind after a beach day. The full kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, and a coffee maker so you're not forced to eat out every meal. Washer and dryer in the unit, off the back porch. Two reserved parking spaces directly outside your front door. Central AC throughout.

Guest Interaction:
Self check-in so you can arrive on your own schedule. Full instructions sent before your stay — arrival is set for 4:00 PM Central. We're available by message throughout your trip and respond within the hour. We stay out of your way so you can enjoy your vacation.
Neighborhood:
Gulf Highlands Beach Resort sits on the west end of Panama City Beach — one of the quieter, more residential stretches of PCB, away from the spring break crowds but close to everything worth doing. The Gulf of Mexico is directly across the street, famous for its emerald-green water and sugar-white sand. Shipwreck Island Waterpark is a 2-minute drive and a full-day activity kids will want to repeat. Pier Park — PCB's main hub for restaurants, shopping, and live entertainment — is just minutes away. The resort's own beachfront restaurant, The Cajun Chicks, means a great meal is a 3-minute walk from your front door.
Getting Around:
A car is the easiest way around PCB — and parking is never a problem here. Two reserved spaces are right outside your front door. Uber and Lyft both operate throughout Panama City Beach. The beach, all 11 resort pools, and The Cajun Chicks are all walkable from the unit. Bike rentals available nearby for exploring the beachside trail.

Clean and tidy

This condo was clean and well maintained. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed borrowing the beach wagon. However, I felt it was overpriced in comparison others within the community and doing research.

Nice Little Townhouse

Location of the property was fantastic. 5 minute walk to the beach through the property grounds. The extra beach items were a plus when traveling with kids. Wagon, cooler and toys. Umbrella needed a little help...Communication with the host was super and check in process was easy. Had a few minor hitches at the property but nothing that would have me recommend someone not stay. Informed Steve of these things just in the event this was a housekeeping issue. Overall pleased with our stay.

Great location but not clean

Owner responded quickly to small issue we had. Close to the beach and pools. Downfall was that the condo was not clean. Also, the beach house was closed for the entire time I was there (2 months). I felt the condo was overpriced considering.

Nice place

Overall it wasn’t bad. But the distance to the beach is further than told and you can’t rent golf carts and use them on the property unless they come from the property. We didn’t know that ahead of time and booked a golf cart with an outside source causing us to have to do a lot of extra stuff to be able to use the golf cart.

Great Get a Way

Clean and decorated very cute! Nice of hosts to have a closet full of recreation equipment! (Shuffle board, tennis, Mini golf, as well at beach things, surf boards, buckets, shovels, nets, rafts, beach umbrella, beach chairs! Everything you need! Location has a variety of fun places to see and eat! Kitchen was well stock with all you needed to cook in. It was also great to have both a washer and a dryer in the unit..as we stayed a month. Most FL places only have a washer or shared pay washers and dryer on a certain floor. The owners kept in touched to make sure everything was going well! Would definitely recommend.

Quiet and peaceful

Perfect place for 2 and our dog. The unit was spotless and cozy. It's close to everything including the Gulf. Friendly little boy that came and talked with us. It was a wonderful weekend!

We live in central Indiana, where, in the summer, we can go from getting stuck following a tractor on a country road to watching racecars speed around Indianapolis Motor Speedway at 230 MPH!

Gulf Highlands Beach Resort is a gated community in the heart of Panama City Beach. Enjoy private beach access, a beach front restaurant with a pool (currently closed and undergoing renovations), mini golf, a playground, tennis courts, and shuffleboard courts, all within the resort. There are 11 pools within the resort, so why not try a new pool each day!
