The Island Pearl! Perfect Private Escape with Private Pool, Newly Renovated, Great Outdoor Spaces!

Welcome to the Island Pearl! This beautifully updated vacation rental offers guests the perfect St. Simons Island escape with a private pool and tons of outdoor space for guests to relax and play. Fully renovated in 2021, the Island Pearl is a short 5-minute drive to the beach (1.5 miles), the island's best restaurants and shopping.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $30/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (10 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted.

From the moment you arrive, guests will feel the island vibe with upscale furnishings, large living spaces both indoors and outdoors as well as the relaxing waters of the new pool and sun shelf. The side yard is the perfect place to set up games of corn hole and enjoy time gathering around the fire pit. The partially covered pergola has two lounge chairs, a bar height dining table and a large sofa and lounge area with direct views of the pool area. Guests can enjoy preparing the catch of the day on the Weber charcoal grill.

The open concept living area provides a great gathering space for guests to enjoy preparing and eating meals in the fully stocked kitchen, watching the game or enjoying family movie night or game fun in the sunroom which includes a ping pong table!

The primary bedroom suite offers guests a king bed and a private en suite bathroom. The primary suite has direct access to the courtyard as well as pool views. Two guest bedrooms offer a queen bed and the fourth guest bedroom offers two queen beds.

Book the Island Pearl and you will soon have your new St. Simons Island "go to" vacation home and it is sure to make many new memories!

The air went out the day before we left and they could not get it fixed they sent someone out to put in 2 portable units in 2 of the bedrooms and they guy was in a hurry because it was after hours ( I’m guessing) and he did a rush job and both of the units failed because the hose come undone and so it was blowing hot air into the rooms so we had to get up in the middle of the night and move in the living room and other rooms to try to rest so we did not suffocate , keep in mind this is a large home and 3 of the people had to go stay with a friend because they could not tolerate the heat and all tthey would do is return one nights stay which is a discounted amount once they minus out fees but don’t get me wrong the home was top notch

Perfect home for families

Island Pearl was the ideal vacation home for the 10 of us - 5 adults and 5 children under 5. There was parking for 4 cars - SUVs and a minivan. The bedroom were large. The bedroom with 2 queens had a large walk in closet that fit a pack n play for a quiet place for my 1 year old grand to sleep. The game room became the kids dining room (we travel with a folding picnic table for them). We prepared most of our meals and the kitchen was one of the best equipped we have ever encountered. We had everything we needed down to plastic kid’s plates, cups and bowls. The pool and back yard were perfect for the kids. We spent more time in the pool than we did at the beach. We throughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Island Pearl and highly recommend this property to families with small kids.

Great family reunion

We loved the location-close to everything! Loved the pool & the house! Just a suggestion, out of the four bedrooms; the one bed in the back mattress was so hard! They need a new softer mattress! And the tub has a drainage problem!

The perfect escape!!

We had an incredible time. The house was exactly as described, the pictures capture the beauty of the property but once you step inside the feeling you get is one of pure relaxation. We will most definitely be booking our vacation to stay at the Island Pearl again!

Island Pearl

The backyard/pool/patio lives up to the pictures. Unfortunately, there were some miscommunications with the property manager. When we booked the rental, there was a bunk room with 4 bunk beds, which our kids were very excited about. About a month after booking, we were informed that the bunk beds were removed. The property manager initially attempted to mitigate this by letting us know that the two guest rooms were upgraded from queen beds to king beds, which ended up not being true as queen beds were still present upon arrival. There were also some undesirable aspects of the property. First off, there are a few cameras around the outside of the property. In the backyard pool area, I noticed that the camera had a green light. To my understanding a green light, means it is active but not recording, while a flashing green light is recording. I cannot confirm if the camera was ever actively recording, but I would have preferred if the camera were actually inactive while in the pool with my family. Additionally, there are quite a bit of rules displayed throughout the property (more than we are used to seeing in rentals), about simple things we would abide by as well mannered renters. The fact that the property feels the need to display so many rules, and at least one camera was active, left an uneasy feeling in me. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the stay, just making future renters aware if they don’t appreciate a lot of oversight.

Wonderful time was had by all

Peaceful, relaxing vacation spent with family. House was clean, wonderfully appointed house, very nicely decorated. Really enjoyed the game cabinet with trivia fun nightly. Beds were comfortable. Pool was fabulous!

Great House for Family Vacation

Adam, we loved the house and the backyard was beautiful and well appointed. The only suggestion or issue would be in the master bedroom. We found the bed to high and was difficult to get in and out of. I would also have liked a chair or recliner of some sort in the master to have a place away to do some reading if desired. We will try and rent again next year.

Spacious, clean, and lovely

Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Beautifully landscaped yard surrounds the pool. There’s lots of outdoor space for grilling, dining, and visiting. There’s a ping pong table room, large dining table and kitchen, and a spacious living room. The beds are comfortable. The house is well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay!

Perfect getaway

This house was perfect for our family. It was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed hours by the pool each day and then enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. We ended up renting a golf cart to go to and from the town. The beach was very close too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Paradise in St Simons!

I can't say enough good about this property - and almost don't want to share how much we loved it for fear it will never be avaialble to rent again! We loved it so much, the backyard was a paradise - an oasis of happy! We were overjoyed with The Island Pearl! Only 2 minor comments: there is only 1 king bed (was advertised as 2) and the grill is charcoal, not gas. Kind of a game changer when you arrive late and want to throw burgers on the grill and you're not prepared for the charcoal grill experience. Otherwise, IT WAS FABULOUS and we will go back.

Tropical Paradise

We loved the Island Pearl. Especially the pool, pergola and the beautiful vegetation in the back yard.My wife loved the decor. The four bedrooms were perfect for our family that covered three generations. Will definitely be back.

Amazing backyard

This was the perfect fit for our multi-generational family. The bunk room, game room, & pool were enjoyed by the kids. The adults enjoyed the covered patio and pergola area.
