2-Acre DOME + Tiny House Cabin on OCEAN w/HT & AC

PRIVATE & Magical 2 acres w/ 210" of OCEAN FRONTAGE. Close to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Schoodic Peninsula, trails & quaint nearby towns.

Peaceful & serene naturescape can be enjoyed solo, w/ a partner, family or friends. Full kitchen/bath, fire pit, covered BBQ deck & stairs leading down to ocean. Lots of outdoor seating & space.

Plenty to do OR do nothing! You can rest & relax here. Explore the Milky Way Galaxy and wake up to sounds of birds and ocean. BYO Water toys (I.e. Kayak, SUP, Canoe)

INSIDE SPACE 1:
Dome structure is where the living room & sleeping area are located which uses a Rinnai for heat overnight if needed. NO shoes or food in the dome. Sleeps 10 max but sleeps 8 comfortably. (10 sleeper assumes, 2 on king, 2 on king convertible mattress, 1 on each of the two twin bunks, 2 on grey sofa bed and 2 on dark blue sofa bed.)

INSIDE SPACE 2:
Full kitchen and full bathroom are in the separate structure steps away from Dome structure. Kitchen has a door-mounted table that folds down with four foldable chairs. Luxurious and tiny at roughly 120 sq ft.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
210ft of ocean front views. BBQ deck with picnic table, seats 10 adults comfortably. Kid picnic table also outside, seating 4 children comfortably. Propane for grill and grilling tools provided. Bunny corner has two seats with middle table. Fire pit has 8 chairs. Lastly, there are 22 steep steps leading down to the ocean water.

PLEASE NOTE: Dome structure is one large 530 sq ft space.Living room and sleeping area is all inside the dome.

Perfect getaway for my family of 4- one 3 yo and one 18 month old. Definitely room for more. We loved playing on the beach and playground during the day, grill for dinner, campfires and smores at night. My favorite part was watch in the sun come up over the bay every morning while the seals were playing in the water. Secluded enough that you feel removed from the hustle and bustle of life but close enough to Acadia for day trips to the park. Great trip and gracious host who shared lots of clear communication and tips to maximize our use of the space. Hope to return!

What an amazing place! I can’t say enough about this VRBO experience. The owner is very easy to communicate with and was always available with questions. The location is quiet, serene, with stunning views. Lastly, the dome! What a cool experience. We woke up every morning to a stunning sunrise. The bed/accommodations were very comfortable. Highly recommend

Unique Stay near Acadia National Park

The property is unique and peaceful. Amazing views and a quiet setting. We spotted eagles and owls. Easy drive to Bar Harbor and Schoodic Peninsula. Great place to stay to experience the beauty of Maine.

Amazing Unique Experience

We stayed at this place while visiting Acadia, but the property was a destination itself. It was such a unique place - quiet and right on the water. Our family loved it. Really fun experience!

Perfect Getaway

This ocean front property was relaxing, quiet and exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed with everything we needed. The property is secluded, but not far from town for the grocery store and a few good restaurants. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Beautiful glamping spot on clay bay. Bring a kayak or some sort of hearty raft that you can utilize for the water since it is the rocky coast.

Amazing Stay at Dome Home

Myself and six other friends stayed here for two nights and had such a blast. The weather was intense our first night, but we stayed warm and cozy in the dome. The sunrise the next day and stars were incredible! Great communication with host and really beautiful property, looking forward to coming back!

The place was a beautiful dream. Me and my girlfriend loved it and would come back again. We were able to have coffe and wacth the sunset and sunrise. Got alot of alone time together, only an hour away form Acadia National Park. Would recommend to friends and family.

Lovely getaway

This was a really unique and fun place that gave us a lovely Maine coast getaway experience. The dome is very comfortable and we enjoyed reading, playing games, and enjoying the view. The kitchen and bath in the tiny house were clean and tidy and worked well for our family of three. The location is lovely, with access to the water and lots of privacy. Everything was as described and communication was excellent. Definitely recommend!

Calm Glamping

We had a great time. The kitchen and bathroom were so convenient. The bay was beautiful and we even saw seals during high tide. We had a large group so if you’re planning this trip make sure you’re very comfortable with them since there is little to no privacy. Overall, great time! Would stay again!

Perfect Quiet Weekend Adventure

We stayed at the Dome Home for a quiet weekend away. This is the first VRBO that we took our dogs with, excuse the owner allowed pets. It was so great having them with us. My husband and I loved the comfortable king size bed and my kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen and bathroom are separate from the Dome Home which was perfect for me because I got quiet, alone time while cooking. Perfect for moms! My husband loved the grilling area, he grilled each night. During the day we were able to explore the beach area which is right in front of the home. At night we could see the stars through the dome windows. We loved how quiet and peaceful this spot was!

Cool Yurt on the ocean!

Camping meets tiny home

This place was great! The dome was very spacious and a cool experience to sleep in. The kitchen/bathroom had everything we needed. The owner was super easy to deal with and was great with suggestions on where to shop and just to answer questions. The location was far enough from activity that we could see all the stars and enjoy the quiet and still close enough to Acadia for hiking.

Wonderful Property

Wonderful location - very quiet and isolated, so very relaxing. The dome is certainly unique and very comfortable with a great view out of the large window section. We spent a good deal of time in Bar Harbor and Acadia. While not “around the corner” definitely easy to get to in just over an hour. Would surely recommend!

The inception of this land took place in my mind for at least 10 years before I was presented with an opportunity late Oct 2020 to purchase it. I've always wanted ocean front property along the coast of Maine and to this day, I can't believe it is my reality.

I love this specific area of Maine because it's pristine and untouched. It's very much how nature intended it to be - still.
