Passion Flower is a delightful getaway. A perfect location for couples seeking a cozy retreat, Enjoy a queen bedroom complete with a TV, mini-split system, and full bathroom. The full kitchen is ready for your culinary creations, though spices are not included. Complimentary coffee is provided. The dining room offers a bathroom and the convenience of a washer and dryer, please note that detergent is not provided.

Welcome to “Vintage” Florida!
We are just off the beaten path, so you may hear activity early in the morning to late at night….It is a vibrant town!
Because you are sharing the property, it is important that guests respect each other. House rules are enforced!


Your unit #3 can be accessed through the rear door labeled 3. Free street parking is available in front of the house; however, please do not park next to the yellow curbs. It is advisable to park on the opposite side of the driveway where the yellow parking blocks are located.


This charming rental features a Queen bedroom with a full bathroom and study table, perfect for work or relaxation. Enjoy a mini entertainment room with a comfortable sofa and TV. The full kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove/oven, kettle, plates, bowls, cups, and utensils, along with complimentary coffee and tea. Please note that spices are not provided to maintain optimal sanitation. The thermostat is preset to 73°. The bathroom includes a standing shower and is stocked with shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and two sets of towels per bed. Outside, there's a large side yard with a shared garden (not fenced), where up to two dogs are welcome (pet fee of $50 cash per pet; no cats or other animals allowed). Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. Security cameras are present on the property but are not active 24/7.

Driving is best, but you can rent bikes, scooters, three wheelers or grab any of the tourist trollies...all just a few blocks away. Or call a pedi-cab and they will pick you up at the front of the property! Walking is a great option too!

Down Town parking garage is $25 per day (1 Cordova St)

All of our properties are routinely treated for pests, but when the doors open bugs can come in; they love crumbs and open or unclean glasses of wine or pop, stagnant water from buckets and glasses and anywhere water accumulates, so please do your part! Definitely remember to use repellent when outdoors
-No cable. Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ connect to your streaming services to watch movies, TV shows, and other content over the internet
-Curtains should stay down in the sitting space to keep rooms cool due to the bright sun facing into the home.
-Trash bins are in front next to driveway entrance.
-We thank you for observing our STRICT non-smoking rules. You are welcome to smoke outside, but please dispose of cigarette butts and be considerate of other guests.
-Having many properties to cover is not a good excuse for anything that we might have missed. Please let us know if there is anything we can fix or drop off.

We enforce pet fees for guests traveling with emotional support animals. If a guest refuses to pay, we will not allow the emotional support animal to stay. Picture of Pet fur will be reported and Airbnb will contact guests unwilling to comply with our policies. Service animals are NOT to be left alone. (Pet fee will be charged)
Only dogs allowed. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and clean up after your pets.

Overall, a unique property & convenient location, away from the congested downtown but still close to sites & shopping! We enjoyed the stay and would come again.

The place was dirty, floors haven’t been mopped in forever, dirty fry pan in oven. Advertise is being newly remodeled the place hasn’t been painted in years. Walls are dirty advertise as having a front room. There was no front room where is a person to set for 2 1/2 days the side deck was unusable. The kitchen was not properly set up to use advertises having a coffee pot. It had a iPod something or other had some kind of pods you could use if you liked that kind of flavored coffee heavens only knows how old they were and I did leave all this in writing on the counter along with the dirty fry pan. We left almost a day early.

Great place

This was a cute little place for our stay in St. Augustine. Walking distance to the uptown shops, but still either a car ride or scooter ride to St. George Street and that area!

Great Location, Great Value

Very close to old St. Augustine, restaurants and beaches. Great alternative to hotel. Not 420 friendly for an outside smoke, landlord texted that it is no bueno on the property, although legally prescribed.

We appreciate your feedback. It was disappointing to find ashes on the table indicating smoking inside the home, despite your response of "no smoking by any guests inside." We aim to uphold a smoke-free environment for all guests and regret the oversight in communicating this policy effectively. Your cooperation by respecting our home would have been greatly appreciated however we had odor in our home and recognize house rules were not respected. Though with future hosts, we hope for better experiences.

As described

The place is small and not super fancy, but it was clean and great for our needs. It is very convenient to everything in the area. I loved the yard area, perfect for people with dogs and the neighborhood was also walkable to take my dog out.

Overall a great stay!!

Pros: great location, nice yard, comfortable bed, easy check in/check out, dog friendly 🐶👍🏻 Cons: living room couch is very small and uncomfortable. Definitely would not consider this another place to sleep… unless maybe a small child.

Nice, but needs help

Nice location, but lacking many essentials for a comfortable stay. Only 1 TV, had to ask for more silverware and measuring cups. Had to do dishes after every meal. No toaster. Only a loveseat in living room. Could be a great property, but I think they tried to hard to make multiple rentals out of home.

Guests sometimes take utensils without reporting it, so we were unaware of what was missing. We appreciate you letting us know about the missing toaster, and we will replace it promptly. Regarding dishes, we recommend washing them after each use. Please note that some of our homes are designed for multi-family use, so we encourage guests to read the description before booking. This particular home is one of our most affordable options for a convenient stay. If you prefer a different home, we have others available, although the price may vary. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Unhappy starters

First impression was a cute place and then everybody started pulling in the park blocking each other in I feel like your unit 1 and 2 should be on street parking so that three and four can be somewhat close to where they go in. Walked in the unit it was not clean needed some updating. The bed and dresser were too close I knocked my knee about three times. That's why you ordered the upstairs bed Heather hair in it. It was an amazing location. The unit definitely needed some maintenance.

Thank you David for your review as when I had called to check on everything you said everything was great so I Was unaware that you found anything unpleasant from the times that we had chatted. I did ask if there’s anything you may need that we encourage you to reach out. The parking can be complicated especially when vehicles are a bit big. Unit four did not have a hard time especially that they did not block anyone in during their visit (your car parking at entrance had blocked two other guests and again I do apologize that you wanted to stay put longer). In order to be comfortable we would ask for our guests to work out a schedule with parking as visitors come for activities around town and need to quickly come and go as they please, hence street parking is available for all guests. hoping you don’t let this experience keep you from renting with VRBO. Please have a blessed holiday!

Dirty and disappointing

I don’t know how often you inspect your properties, but I will say the cleanliness of unit 3 was very disappointing, floors where dirty to the point our feet would get black from dirt after a short of walking on them. Ceiling fan in the bedroom and exhaust fan in the main bathroom where cover in , I have photos if you’d like to see. Shower mat in the shower was dirty. Pans had food stuck to them and dirty to the point we wouldn’t use them. etc. No complementary coffee as mentioned in listing. The yard was unkept and needed some TLC to say the least. And the blinds on the windows let in the light from outside to the point it was like having the light on while sleeping.In general the property was sub par. Very disappointing.This is an email I sent the property owner , without any reply

RUN AWAY FROM THIS LISTING

Upon arrival I realized it was not at all what was listed. The "room" we booked was so small and the size group I had would not have been confortable staying there!! That was problem #1. #2, the smell inside the home was terrible!! Like someone boxed up an old wet gym shirt for a year then opened the box and set it in front of the AC! #3 There were stains on the carpet in the shoe box sized livingroom, if you can even call it that. There was even a clump of pet hair from the previous visitors. Nothing had been vacuumed. And if the owner tries to dispute this post, it wasn't dog hair from my dogs since they have red short hair and the clump was long and white!!! The TV is mounted about 2 feet off the floor! You can't leave it plugged in because you'll trip on the cord. The coffee table was broken on one end so you could have cut yourself on it had you run into it. (Which would have been easy to do with more than 2 people in the room!) The dinning table had multiple issues. The floor air vent in the kitchen was not secured to the floor so someone tripped on it! The bottom of the stairs doesn't have a rail and they're very steep so someone could easily fall. The ceiling light in the upstairs bedroom (ATTIC BY THE WAY!!) did not work so you would have to cross the room in the dark to turn on a light by the bed. The bedding smelled and looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks. The kitchen was gross. Looking at the dishes I could see they needed to be washed before use. The cabinets are a mess and are in need of replacement! When all of this was addressed with the owner via phone with VRBO, she lied through her teeth and said it was all new! She also said I was just looking for reasons to get out of the stay because it wasn't what I expected! You're darn right it wasn't what was expected but I certainly wasn't "looking" for reasons, they jumped out at me!! That's when the rep on the phone spoke up and informed her that I had sent pictures and that he had reviewed them and absolutely felt she needed to make it right! She wanted to send cleaners to reclean but that would not have fixed all of the other issues, the smell being the worst at the time! The rep suggested the refund and she said fine but we had to get out. Of course I was happy to leave that miserable place. I stepped out the side door only to discover the worst problem ,#4, the handle was falling out of the door! It could have been pulled right out. NOT A SAFE PROPERTY AT ALL. RUN AWAY!!!!

Thanks Nicole for this review. Apologies that our space was not what you were looking for but our description informed you that this unit is one of our 3 units in a home. All units are checked before guest arrival that odors are not accurate. As a new property manager there are a few things I need to update and address although everything in your unit is new; pillows, covers, sheets and duvets. Pictures are also in our listing for an understanding of our living space; would love new ideas to share with guests for a better guest experience. Apologies that I am not able to give full refunds for an overlooked detail of connected units however I understand what it takes to get what you need out of this booking. I offered a second clean and it was not what you were wanting and the cord being a tripping cord was a surprise; there are no hanging cords because we also understand the risks for a vacation home. The light switch up stairs is connected to the switch to the stairs; when this switch is not on, the other switch upstairs is not in working order (would have mentioned this but there was no communication other than leaving with a full refund at arrival). I will add a rail to the stairs, great idea, thank you. However I am not understanding the problem of the refund. If a refund is given, should I have told you to stay where you were not happy? Our goal is to fix any issues and assist/accommodate quickly, whether removing/replacing a table, fixing a cord or clean dishes (with discounts or small refunds for the inconvenience). I understand we may overlook a few things as I responded and offered immediate attention. It’s unfortunate that we were not able to fulfill the needs of your desired stay and surprised to see unusual problems. Your reports were looked at immediately for accuracy after your departure but overall we hope you found a place that was fit for you. Thanks for giving us a try and hope you enjoyed St Augustine.
