Looking for a Gulf Front beach getaway with breathtaking views and an ocean as far as the eye can see? Then Cape Daze is the perfect beach destination for you! In the mornings, enjoy a peaceful and beautiful sunrise over the bay from the front porch, and in the evenings become captivated with a breathtaking sunset on the back porch, facing the ocean.

Cape Daze has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and sleeps 9 people.

The King suite is located on the top floor, facing the Gulf, with its own private balcony. In this room enjoy your own private bath. Also on this floor is a queen room with beautiful bay views with a private bathroom.

The third bedroom is another queen room right off of the kitchen with a bathroom.

On the bottom floor is the bunk room with a full on bottom and a twin on top.

The main floor is the heart of the home, with a fully stocked kitchen that overlooks the bay, a dining area for the whole family and the living room that opens right into your front deck onto the beach.

**Please note, this home rents from Saturday to Saturday, however please contact for different accommodations. This home is pet friendly, $150 per pet up to 2 dogs, and not cats.**

Perfect Beach Getaway!

A friend and I went for a quick beach getaway weekend, and it was perfect! Loved watching the sunrise over the bay and the sunset over the ocean! Would highly recommend!

Great Location

Dog friendly home was quite dated but in such a great location. Easy place to stay where you don’t worry about dogs harming place.

Relaxing

Had a great stay! House was perfect and within walking distance to the beach. We will definitely be booking this property again. Only problem we had was the biting flies. We stayed in august so maybe it was just the season?

Fabulous Family Spot

We loved our stay. Accommodations were great. The beach was soooo quiet and the walk was the shortest we have ever experienced. Look out one way and it’s the bay and look out the other way and it’s the ocean. Sunrise to sunset- it’s a fabulous spot to enjoy.

Great Location on the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay right on the beach! Location was wonderful, sunsets were amazing, no crowds, convenient to everything. House was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Wonderful stay

We’ve stayed in this home three years in a row. Our family of six loves the location and how this part of the beach is especially quiet. Being able to bring our dog to the beach is extra special! The stars on a clear night are absolutely mind blowing due to such a dark beach at night. You can actually see the Milky Way! Whenever our favorite things is to have a fire on the beach at night, roast marshmallows, and watch the stars! If you’re lucky, you’ll see the bioilluminesence in the water as well!

Wonderful beach escape

Our stay at Cape Daze

Very clean kitchen stocked with most any cooking items needed nice views of bay and gulf area from front and back decks just a few steps from the gulf beach, would have preferred bathrooms in with the queen bedrooms also needs extra washcloths for each bedroom only one supplied.All and all we enjoyed our stay!

A Cape San Blas Gem!

This will be my 9th stay since 2010 at Cape San Blas and my most perfect property. The home is large and very accomodating but despite that it feels warm and cozy. The view from both main floors can't be beat and to make things even better the communication and help from the property manager made everything easy

Absolutely Perfect!

This home is gorgeous and in the perfect spot. You can not beat the gorgeous sunsets directly from the back porch! This is our fifth year traveling to this area and by far the best rental we have ever had there. I highly recommend! Thank you for the perfect trip!

Inaccurate Listing

Our family stayed at this property and experienced numerous issues, which we reported to the host but never received a response. VRBO later issued a 300 refund to cover damaged clothing. 1.Cleanliness: We found cockroach and mice droppings in the bottom bedroom and utility closet, raising concerns about pest control.2.Furniture Safety: The bunk bed was broken on arrival. We had to splint it ourselves to make it safe.3.Bedding: None of the beds had mattress pads, and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable, especially the king bed with a large hump in the middle.4.General Cleanliness: Vents and fans were covered in thick dust. Mold and mildew were present in sinks and showers.5.Safety: The utility closet door couldn’t be secured. We used a ratchet strap and parked a car in front for peace of mind as our young daughters slept nearby.6.Inaccurate Listing: The listing showed direct beach access, but it was unusable due to erosion. We had to walk far to find safe access, difficult for our elderly parents and young kids.7.Worn Furniture: The living room furniture was worn to the point of discomfort. A closet door was broken and leaning inside the closet.8.Water Pressure: Water pressure was so low the washer, dishwasher, and showers were barely usable. We returned home with dirty laundry and ripped clothing from the washing machine running without water. These issues made for a stressful stay.

Wonderful house!

Perfect house in the perfect location! South end of the cap is much less crowded and this house is literally steps away. Everything we needed was there and the host was incredible to deal with. No need to look around, book this one if available. We sure will next time!

Sunsets

We found the property well appointed, very clean and very well designed. The wide expanse of the gulf greats you every morning and night and we sat with our wine and bade the sun good night. We were fortunate to have cloudless, if cool, skies and the ever present ocean breeze. The location is perfect, close both to the park and Port St Joe. Lots of steps but I liked the entry to discard shoes and keep the sand at bay. Beds were comfortable and even tho close to the road we heard no sound but the sighing of the waves. We had a lovely time.

Relaxing week.

This place was great. Literally steps from the beach and water. The kitchen was stocked very well for cooking and preparing meals, and the layout of the house worked perfectly for us. My only complaint is that the deck furniture is awful. The table and chairs were so uncomfortable...those cheap plastic chairs that bend and break easily. There were plenty of Adirondack chairs that were ok, but when you sit in them, the deck railing is in the way and you can't see the water. I was looking forward to eating meals on the deck and it just wasn't possible. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.
