House needs alot of attention. Hasn’t been cleaned in months. A lot of roaches as well. It is a perfect location! And we had a great time regardless!

We had the best week in Cape San Blas! This house and its location is perfect. Location and things near by: we did our main grocery pick up at the Walmart in Callaway which is an hour away we then went to the trading post for random odds and ends needed through the trip. There are a few local places to eat, get coffee and ice cream all within 5mi of the house which we loved. Port St Joe is a quick drive from the house and they have a Piggly Wiggly, CVS and DG market. It’s an adorable town with several fast food, local food and ice cream options. PCB is a little over an hour away, we spent a day there doing the tourist stuff and were quickly reminded why we chose to try CSB. As for the beach it was absolutely amazing, we basically had the beach to ourselves most of the week. It stormed off and on our whole trip so we had big waves and murky water the first few days which made for great boogie boarding and by our last two days the water was more calm and clearing up. The proximity of the beach to the house was perfect we were able to let the older kids play on the edge of the water while we watched from the porch. We also greatly enjoyed the Kayaks. As for the house there were 13 of us, 6 adults and 7 kids ages 2-13. We had plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals and serving 13 people. The house was very clean and the beds so comfortable. The house and views from it are gorgeous. This house was seriously everything I hoped for I can’t wait to to go back.

Good beach house

Great location . Messy outside, half the tv's didn't work. Not real clean inside either. A few issues with maintenance. Other than that it's super nice.

Not worth the price

House is focused on looks, not quality. Amenities are lacking; house itself is beautiful. Proximity to beach is 10/10 but sticker burrs are bothersome, especially with small kids. Great ocean views. Steps to beach, which felt like a private beach. That said, beach is eroded and full of shells and tree stumps. Biting flies on beach, very unpleasant. Many complaints are listed in previous reviews to which the owner responded saying these issues were fixed but they weren’t. All minor and we did not need to reach out to the owner during our stay. House was dirty when we arrived, seashells everywhere on patio under house. Glass door to patio was filthy. Leftover items from previous guests. Mold on ceiling vents, trash bag duct taped to the ceiling of downstairs bathroom, couch covers were soiled/ stained. Chair covers were poor quality, also dirty. There was a LOT of pet hair. Microwave rusted out on inside. Kitchen faucet tricky to get turned off. Mold in seal to washing machine. Very few towels/wash cloths provided. Only 10 bath towels and 6 wash cloths provided. One of the upstairs bedroom doors won’t lock. Coffee maker lid kept falling off. Garbage disposal doesn’t work. Tv requires PIN to download apps such as Disney, very inconvenient. Owner accused me of bringing/leaving a large dirty wooden table that was there upon arrival and asked why the trash bins hadn’t been taken to the road, which wasn’t in check out instruction. Had a great time with family, but won’t be back.

The house was wonderful. We had everything that we needed in this beautiful property. We had the beach to ourselves and really enjoyed our time here.

Family getaway

Beautiful ocean views from the open concept dining, LR and kitchen. Beds slept well. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the extra seating in LR to accomodate our family comfortably hanging out in the same room. We would definitely rebook in the future.

Annual Family Vacation

Lovely home! However, we paid over $9,000. And were not told that the beach had eroded in front of the house. So sometimes could not even get a chair to sit on the beach. The walkway was also very unstable and dangerous due to the beach erosion. The dishwasher didn’t work properly, had to wash sometimes 2 or 3 times to get them clean. The furniture covers were FILTHY! The washer had mold and mildew growing around the door gasket. Only 2 each of linens in master bath, we were there for a week, so had to continually wash them. Very disappointed in the condition of this lovely home to have paid this high of a price.

Nice House

Good house, loved the beach access and the porch. Beach is super private, found more seashells than you can imagine. The views from the house are incredible. Bedrooms were perfect. Not a 5 star house though for sure. Id give it a 4. We never had to contact the owner for a problem, just small issues i would fix if it wer my home. The microwave was rusted on the inside(a lot) probably just from the venting i understand, but i would buy a new one if it was my house. The one bedroom had a garbage bag duct taped to the ceiling, looked lile a giant diaper. We had 4 children, drove from NY. We did know going in there wasnt beach gear. There was absolutley no chairs. The kayaks you need to pay for.Also black mold that was cleaned was still visible, i would replace a couple vent covers, easy fix.

Great house!

I should open with I'm stingy with 5 star reviews, in my opinion that means a place is perfect. This one is pretty close. The house and location were perfect for our family of 6 + a golden retriever. The access to the beach, closeness of any shopping and communication with the owner/manager were great. The main floor windows make the home. 3 walls of windows with a beach so close it feels like you're living on the water. you're able to open the windows and listen to the ocean as you fall asleep or when awakening. When we visit the beach this is just the kind of property I'm looking for. We had no neighbors to speak of. Most days we'd be one of three families on the whole beach. I only have a few things that kept if from being a 5 star property. The dishwasher doesn't clean well. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty upon our arrival, after rewashing them I saw why. In order for the dishwasher to have any affect, the dishes have to go in clean. Like perfect. The garbage can drawer slides open all the time, it won't stay closed. It's right in front of the refrigerator and a main traffic area, so you're always closing it. I'm sure it's not easy to find a solid, reliable vacuum for a beach house, but it would have made a big difference. We swept multiple times a day instead. The kitchen sink faucet is challenging to get totally turned off, you've got to get it in just the right spot. Those things are the only negatives. Great house

Disappointing Beach House

Absolutely a great location as the beach is within steps. Dog friendly beach and great fishing. However, so much needs attended to...the stained linens, mold on the ceilings, burner on the stove and dripping kitchen faucet. We texted our host regarding the stove & faucet, We did all of our own cooking so we had to work around the issues. No reply on the first try and none a few days later on the second try. Plan on being on your own. The covers on the couches and chairs are soiled and stained as well. Plan on sitting on the couch pillows to make sitting on the furniture comfortable. The seat pads on the dining chairs were quite soiled as well. We ended up washing them to make presentable for our company. They came out clean with little effort. The vacuum cleaner in the closet is beyond effective as it is taped together and does not pick up dirt. We were happy we brought our dustbuster and that worked for us. The pictures on the listing give great appeal but in reality do not show the shortcomings of this beach house. Back on the subject of the linens, the mattress covers, sheets, pillows, pillowcases and towels need replaced and thrown out. Some blankets are stained and need to be tossed as well. This beach house has so much potential but the cleanliness, detail to necessities, and communication are absent and leave much to be desired. We will not be booking here in the future.

Lime Pie

The house isn’t as pristine as the pictures posted. We had a lot of issues at this rental. I will say the Host of the property did offer to fix some of them but somethings should have clearly been done before we arrived. We didn’t want workers in and out fixing issues while we were there trying to relax on our vacation. The master bath ceiling had black mold on the ceiling in the shower and a few other spots. I do have pictures and to me that was unacceptable. The other bdrm on the main level and bathroom had plastic covering the vents. The couch covers are very stained, we found chocolate candy under the tv stand that my dogs were trying to get, it wasn’t advertised or we weren’t told that the steps going down to the beach directly behind the house were gone. The coffee maker went out and the host told us we would have to wait until the following day so he could go get one in Panama. My husband had to go to Piggly Wiggly just before they closed and bought one so we could have coffee the next morning. They did reimburse us but what a hassle at 9 pm. There were other issues as well. This was a special anniversary get away and we were expecting it to be as described and that the photos advertised were accurate. The views are breathtaking and a couple weeks later they added steps but we’ll never stay at Lime Pie again.

Wonderful stay

While there were minor issues, no hot water, taken care of the same day, we loved the house and location. Communication was good. We did see some mold on bedroom vents, house was otherwise very clean. Beach was wonderful. Very good place to find shells. Had a couple of stormy days and saw the beach erosion issue first hand. We love the area. Very laid back and relaxing.

Great Thanksgiving Holiday

Lime Pie is as described, with plenty of space for Adults and a dog to spread out comfortably. We did have to message the Host for some things and was responded to promptly. The only drawback is the way to get down to the beach. Off of the boardwalk in front of the house is a straight drop-down that you cannot take without hurting yourself. You have to walk down to other houses’ steps to get to the beach. Our group had kinda anticipated this so it was not a deterrent to renting the house. Overall, would stay there again.

Great house and location

This house is directly on the beach with a wood walkover. They have everything you need. Ran into a couple of issues but the property manager responded quickly and met our needs and took care of the situation. Nice house. The BEST location. I’ll definitely stay here again

This house feels new and has Both Beach and Bay views!!! 3 of 4 Bedrooms feature Ocean Front views! Hurricane Michael Survivor!
