One of the best vacation experiences I've ever had. Super comfy/cozy interior and loved how pet friendly it was. My city dog loved it and the fenced in porch. The internet kind of only worked for the tv and not our phones but we were too busy/ comfy to care. Would definitely reccomend for 2 people and a dog

If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy mountain getaway for one or two people this hit the spot. Beautiful and rustic but the cabin had everything we needed for a few days. Great views from the porch. Kitchen was stocked for basic cooking needs, including olive oil and some basic spices. Bed was comfy and cabin was clean. It’s a bit of a drive into Asheville but worth the rustic digs. Innkeepers gave great driving directions and instructions for our stay.

Perfect size for two people. The cabin was very clean and private, with all the basics provided. We had an issue connecting to the internet, but Walter arrived promptly to address the problem (operator error). The covered back deck was amazing and we even saw a black bear, he was probably attracted the the massive amounts of raspberries and blackberries growing around the cabin. He was only passing through, but it was an added bonus to our visit. Definitely bring your own groceries. If you are looking for solitude and a gorgeous view, this cabin is for you. We hope to return in Autumn for the changing of colors.

Cozy mountain cabin perfect for 2 + dogs!

Very clean and well maintained cozy cabin! I would emphasize the road up to the cabin is quite steep with alot of twists turns, but the views are worth the drive!

It was a wonderful cabin in the woods. Super quaint and super clean. We'd definitely recommend and we will return. The only thing that was a small problem was, it is pet friendly BIT there is really nowhere much to walk your dog (at least where we were).

Perfect! Very comfy, just what were looking for. Host very accommodating. Very clean, everything we needed. Perfect temperature for mid July coming from NC beach area. Very dog friendly. Our 2 elderly Bostons were right at home on that back porch.

Loved this little cabin in the woods!

My fiancé and I are from Charlotte and needed somewhere to stay for a few days while we were waiting on our house to be completed. It was a perfect little set up even though we were both working and we really enjoyed grilling out and relaxing on the deck after long work days. We got to check out one trail while we were there and will have to come back to try out the rest!

Perfect Cabin

First time staying in some real mountains and could not have been more impressed. Instructions leading to the property were perfect, the drive up to the cabin was incredible. Town around chimney rock and lake lure was perfect for a weekend getaway. Cabin itself was truly a work of art, fine craftsmanship from the floor boards to the ceiling, along with great facilities to clean off after hiking and to make a great meal to recover. Loved every moment of the stay and not a thing I would change. Thank you for an amazing get away!

Peaceful stay

Well kept cabin with a great little porch and grill. Directions to the cabin were helpful. The groundskeeper/maintenance also has a cabin nearby which is handy if you need anything. The main house is close to the guest house so if you're looking for a more secluded cabin it may not be the one for you but I saw that in previous reviews and it still worked great for me as a solo traveler. Would recommend!

Peaceful

I LOVE this little cabin. It was perfect for a peaceful, mountain getaway. It was very clean and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking which I did not do. The cabin is perfectly situated close enough to other cabins to feel safe but far enough away to feel secluded. The caretaker was so friendly. I will be back! The view and the porch are amazing!

Quick Getaway

Celebrated my Birthday here and we love everything about the cabin. They have everything that you need, all you have to do bring your clothes and some groceries. It is spacious for 2 people and one dog. However, it is too close to the main cabin. So your peacefulness depends on who rents it the same time as you.

WONDERFUL, secluded cabin

Absolutely lovely cabin. The owners/property managers are so responsive and kind. We forgot an item when we checked out and they mailed it back to us! This is a hidden oasis with a great kitchen, back porch, and grill. Our dog, Pie, had such a great time exploring. The road to the cabins is private, so we felt safe letting her go off leash with us. It’s a lovely day drive up and down the mountain, but drive slowly at night since the road is windy and very dark. We’ll definitely be coming back — with friends next time!
