Stay for UAB graduation

Everything was clean and nice. The tiles in the hallway are very lose and need to be regrouted. But overall the place was amazing.

Great Getaway!!

I planned a long weekend getaway and this was a truly wonderful place to stay. The area is quiet and just outside of town where there are stores and restaurants. The house was very roomy and comfortable with everything I needed and then some. The 65 inch tv in the den was so great for watching all the football games. The grill on the back porch was really great for cooking steaks and hotdogs to have while enjoying the games. Randall was great to communicate with and very accommodating. Definitely will be back again.

Absolutely perfect

What a beautiful home..we loved everything about it..the feeling of home..decor brought back such fond memories..completely worth every penny..host was so kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend this home! Fully furnished..even had snacks and waters available for guest. Beds were comfortable and master shower was amazing. The back deck was very nice and relaxing. Parking was very spacious. Neighborhood was very clean and seemed too be a very safe area. Large tv in den with Netflix option. To do when leaving list..was very simple. Will definitely recommend to all.

Better than perfect!

Everything is exactly as described or Better! Felt like staying with family. In town for daughters college graduation & our younger kids were starving when we arrived later than expected, but much to their delight there were great snacks Everywhere!! Waters etc. In the fridge. Completely saved me a trip to the store. Being in & out for graduation activities, and a late dinner one night it was a total life saver. Our daughter said it Was better than Grandma's house. Would definitely recommend & Would absolutely us again.

Absolute DISASTER!!!!!

After a 9 hour drive & arriving well after dark we found the house to be either abandoned or possible squatters living in the house. We had zero communication from the host, Randall. Could not get in touch with him at all. That should have been a huge red flag that something was amiss. Once we entered the home we found there was no power & no running water. Dirty dishes everywhere, toilet was full of feces & even a little cat on the screened in back porch. The rest of the house was a disaster as well. We left the house immediately and called VRBO, concerned for our safety. Upon speaking with the agent & reporting our findings, she asked us to go back into the house to take pictures. We expressed our concern for our safety & not feeling comfortable going back into the house, but she was pretty insistent. Bear in mind, it's cold, dark & & there is no electricity, in a strange home that we've never been in before. We sent the pictures and then she decided to refund our money. I cannot tell you how put out and majorly inconvenienced we were. Here we are in a strange city & two days before Thanksgiving looking for another VRBO well after dark. I booked this house months in advance, paid for it, never thinking we would end up with nowhere to go. I spent three hours on the computer looking for another VRBO with no luck. Everything was booked through Thanksgiving We ended up at a hotel for our 6 day stay. At a considerably higher out of pocket expense. Not cool VRBO! Never again!
