Located just a 6 minute walk to the sand, Silver Strand offers a low-key California beach vibe and with year-round surf! The Channel Islands Harbor is a short 5 minute drive and offers a variety of local restaurants with harbor views, Sunday morning farmer's market, and sunbathing seals! If you're feeling adventurous you can also find bike, kayak, SUP, and jet ski rentals at the harbor next to Sea Fresh Restaurant or take an Island Packers cruise! If land sports are more your thing, there's golf nearby!

Perfect Beach Apartment

The property was exactly as described in the listings. Everything was clean or organized upon arrival. Excellent property! I had a great stay.

Very cold, internet connection unreliable

The property was very beautifully decorated and the finishes were nice. The living room has a sheer curtain so not a ton of privacy in the evenings or mornings. When we arrived on 2/15 @ 730pm the place was freezing! It had to be maybe 50 degrees, we woke up with freezing noses. I let Johnny know first thing in the morning day two and his solution was space heaters. He said he would bring some over but later txt and said someone dropped them off at the front door. We arrived an hour after the txt around 5 or 6pm and there were no heaters. Again I contacted Johnny, after looking around at other doors around the neighborhood he was finally able to communicate that they were dropped off at his neighbors and they were behind the building. We started them up and it was starting to get warm then the breaker popped and we had no lights or TV for over an hour. I contacted Johnny again and he got back to me an hour later. I found the breaker box then was able to flip the breaker back and get power back on. I was wanting to enjoy my vacation not continually contact people over issues that should not have been happening. I honestly thought I'd be offered some sort of a refund and was very surprised when I wasn't. The condo was not checked to ensure it was operable, the heat was not working it was freezing! I tried to contact vrbo but had no internet and was getting frustrated. This was my worst experience with vrbo so far.. I paid good money, almost 1,000.00 after fees for three days 🤔
